System can you roughly estimate how many novice XP orbs are needed for someone to go from level 0 to 3?
<Beep! 1 4 5 30 80 2000 That depends on the individual's Race however it should not exceed Novice orbs average require 25. In total, User will an of for individuals currently present. Or Veteran XP Orbs Total however, this may bring person to level and some lower Races even hit directly with method.>
"Hmm, those are just the people currently present," Draven thought to himself. He gave them time till nightfall to show up the population of the town was roughly 2500. So Draven estimated that at least one-third would show up if not half. Looking into his inventory over the past month he had amassed quite a lot of XP Orbs Since Novice Orbs were practically useless to him their numbers just kept growing. Currently, he has 1953 Novice Orbs and 241 Novice Veteran Orbs. He has already consumed the 12 Iron Orbs he had claimed. Creatures at level 10 or higher were rare in this area. I need a spot where I can farm a lot of monsters at once. Maybe I can try another lake?" Draven decided as he opened the map and to his surprise the entire area was unlocked. "System why is everything in this area unlocked? I haven't been to this part of the forest yet." Draven asked.
Beep! Once you came into contact with the village terminal useful information was extracted.
"Way to go system!" Draven yelled out quite pleased with his internal partner in crime. After studying the map Draven saw a large lake a few miles further south and rushed to the location. After a few minutes, he was there and the lake was huge. Much larger than the one where he had fought the boss Mudcrab. He tried to use his mystic eye to find any enemies in the lake but apparently, he had to see the creature directly as it did not penetrate the water. Well, let's electrify the water and see what happens Draven thought. Draven formed an oversized arrow made of lightning he then pumped 200 mana into it. At this point, it was more accurate to call it a ballista bolt and he let it fly into the center of the lake. As soon as the arrow hit the water the majority of the lake was coated in electricity as numerous amounts of notifications sounded off.
Congratulation! User has slain level 3 mudcrab.
Congratulation! User has slain level 6 spawn of Nagar'lak
Congratulation! User has slain level 4 Kingsfish
Congratulation! User has sla…
"Spawn of Nagar'lak?" Draven had no idea what that could be, he assumed a Kingsfish was a type of fish but what was a Nagar'lak? As if to answer Draven, countless bodies of fish and humanoid fish monsters floated to the top of the lake. "They kind of look like the Naga race from the game." Draven thought. "Now how do I retrieve the loot from all those bodies?" Draven asked himself as he was experimenting with putting wind magic under his feet to allow him to walk on water. But before he could try it out numerous splashes could be heard from creatures rising to the surface. Draven had a wide grin on his face as he thought of how quickly he was going to amass all the needed xp Orbs but his grin began to fade more and more as 3 of the boss crabs appeared with hundreds of creepy crabs accompanying them.
Then the Naga's showed up they were anywhere between levels 4 and 9 and their numbers were also nothing to scoff at. Well, I got what I asked for Draven said with a nervous laugh in his voice. First Draven allowed electricity to freely flow through his arms. He then began to pump more mana into the spell to keep the flow stable before casting Chain Lightning and within a few seconds, His electricity began to jump from one creature to the next. He could feel the mana draining and the further the chain lightning went the more mana it drew from him as he had to continuously channel the spell to keep it going. After a minute everything below level 5 had perished leaving the rest severely wounded.
Draven extended his claws pushed some mana into the seals in his legs and dashed through the larger enemies swiping every which way as soon as he could reach something. All the mud crab's bosses died along with 23 Naga's. "I've gotten a lot stronger Draven said as his confidence started to come back. The mudcrabs seemed to have halted their attack but the Naga's more than made up for their absence as many more came from the lake. "Is there a Naga city down there or where are they all coming from?" Draven wondered. It was certainly a possibility he thought. This next wave of Naga was now between levels 8 and 12. Draven was starting to get worried now that the trash mobs had reached Iron Rank.
"Hopefully this will be the last of them." He thought to himself. Out of the water, Draven was much faster than the Naga, even without using lightning legs he far outspend these creatures. They had the head of an aqua-themed lizard, a humanoid torso with arms, and the bottom half was the body of a snake. Draven didn't want to fight them in the water but on land, they were easy picking. As he raced around the shore and sliced them to shreds with his claws. Draven didn't even feel the need to use magic. This went on for half an hour as Draven started to get tired and began throwing out some wide wind scythes. He had improved on the form of the Wind Scythe as he gave it a bit of rotation to surprise the enemies that resurfaced after diving down to avoid the attack.
All the nagas at this point were around level 13 and the amount of Naga surfacing the lake started to dwindle. Draven had long lost count of how many creatures he had killed maybe he would ask the system later. After the short physical breather, Draven extended his claws and made quick work of the remaining Naga's some of them had stronger abilities and could even attack with water magic however, Draven was easily able to dodge such straightforward attacks his speed was incredible confidence boost to his combat ability. As he was getting ready to attack the next wave, a much larger Naga surfaced the lake Draven quickly checked its stats.
Nagar'lak level 15
Health: 800
Mana: 300
"Level 15 so Iron Veteran Rank, and he has a lot of health the raid boss has arrived," Draven said as he couldn't help but whistle as he saw its health and rank. Draven quickly threw out some wind scythes to take out any remaining Nagas. "Clearing the trash before attacking the boss is a tried and true Raid strategy," Draven said to himself while looking at Nagar'lak. This guy was huge! He had similar features to the other naga's but he was at least 3 times their size and on steroids. Draven decided to use this opportunity to throw some lightning arrows at Nagar'lak before it could come ashore but the creature easily blocked the arrows with his enormous trident. The creature then pointed its trident at Draven and shot multiple water jets that spread out and then converged onto Draven. Draven ran forward to escape the attack as they came in from the sides but was then struck in the back by all of them. Draven was crushed into the ground by the sheer force of water. "His attacks can home in on me." Draven realized as he checked his health.
Health: 730 /1280
"That attack was almost half my health bar!" Draven exclaimed in shock. Draven was pissed and also getting a bit scared another one of those and he would be at death's door. Draven dumped some mana and refueled the seals in his arms and legs "Time to use these on a real target." Draven said with a grin. He launched himself forward as soon as the creature was on shore and in a blink of an eye Draven was at its side and used a lightning-fueled kick on the creature's lower snake-like torso. His leg passed through a portion of his lower body like butter. Blood began to spill out of the now gaping hole in its lower torso. Nagar'lak roared in pain as it brought its trident down on Draven. Draven easily sidestepped this attack and with extended claws jumped into the air and used a lightning-fueled right arm to slash through Nagar'lak's arm severing it at the shoulder. The creature's entire arm along with the trident still tightly gripped in its severed hand landed on the ground with a loud thump. Blood sprayed out of the creature's wound as Nagar'lak flayed his body left and right due to the pain. Nagar'lak raised his other arm which formed another water jet and let it fly this time it was a single jet of water and Draven was able to duck out of harm's way, after checking that the attack didn't turn around to come back to hit him, Draven realized that Nagar'lak had turned around and rushed back into the water. You aren't getting away" Draven said with a grim expression on his face. Draven formed another ballista bolt-sized lightning arrow and launched it into the water where Nagar'lak was still visible. He then quickly threw as many wind scythes into the water as fast as he could. The arrow struck Nagar'lak in the back and it went through him Creating sparks throughout the lake once more.
Congratulation! The user has slain level 15 Nagar'lak
Congratulation! The user has slain level 6 Mud crab
Congratulation! The user has slain level 8 Kingfish
Congratulation! The user has slain…
Draven ignored the rest of the messages as he watched how his wind sythes struck Nagar'lak after the fact and cut him up into smaller chunks of Nagar'lak.
"Ok that might have been overkill but I was not going to chase him into the lake!" Draven said adamantly. Draven went to the nearest corpse to him and opened the loot menu. And to his surprise, there was a new function Auto Loot All. Draven clicked on that and he instantly looted all the creatures around him. "System since when can I do that?" Draven said both happy and annoyed that he hadn't noticed this before.
<Beep! 100 After the upgrade to Djinn System, feature of looting multiple sources at once was unlocked however user will have spend mana use this function. In case insufficient mana, User be drained Points and function turn off.>
"This is amazing!" Draven shouted out visibly pleased with this new function. Draven then checked to see how much mana he had spent
Mana 100/6000
"Oh, I guess there's still stuff to loot then…" Draven said. He will have to be careful with this function in the future. He thought to himself. Draven sat down and began his Mana regen. He stayed in that spot for the next 30 minutes with draconic Aura on nothing dared to approach him. After his mana had fully replenished Draven had to spend another 10 minutes searching for a corpse that had not already been looted so he could use that option again and was able to loot the rest. In total, he received the following.
Novice XP Orb 1287x
Novice Veteran XP Orb 1225x
Iron XP Orb 241x
Iron Veteran Xp Orb 1x
Clam 326x
Large Clam 3x
Trident novice grade 382x
Trident Iron Grade 241x
Trident of Nagar'lak Iron Veteran Grade
Mud Crab meat 1620x
Large Mudcrab meat 3x
Kingfish Meat 510x
Mud Crab Shell 1620x
Mud Crab claws 3240x
Large Mud Crab Shell 3x
Large Mud Crab claws 6x
Draven was amazed by the amount of loot he had just gotten. He stared at his inventory mouth agape for a few minutes before coming to his senses. "It looks like after I learned carving the system gathers meat and materials for me as well." But he noticed it didn't carve the Nagas.
Beep! The use of professions can be automated through the loot window performing these actions has a mana cost and will cease operation after the User has reached 100 mana. Out of courtesy to the User, the Djinn system has turned off the functionality of carving meat from humanoid creatures. Does the User wish to harvest meat from Humanoid creatures?
Draven did not hesitate to decline there were enough animals to eat in the wild. He didn't need to resort to eating Humanoid creatures. Even though the Naga were not humans it still would have been weird to eat them. After some quick math Draven decided he had enough orbs to get half of the village to level 3 or more. This was without factoring in the Iron XP Orbs needed for his quest and personal use. Having completed his task Draven happily headed back to the training grounds.
