"That bastard quit didn't he?" He asks as he rolls his fingers on the rim of the glass of coffee in front of him.

Minnie looks down and nods. "He quit yesterday evening."

He laughs. "After money was sent to him no?"

"Yes."

Minnie, knowing her boss, takes a conscious step backwards.

Just in time, as the cup smashed suddenly after threw it her way.

He stands up from the swiveling chair and walks to stand right in front of her, not minding the hot coffee he just wasted. "Didn't I tell you mother fuckers that you should not pay anyone without my permission?!"

Minnie cannot dare to look up at him because she knows clearly what would come next immediately after that. "I told him the same thing but I heard him say that without money he wasn't going to give us the information we wanted from him."
