Carlin must have blurted it out without thinking deeply about it but it hurt more than I remember.

But then, what's to say she didn't do it deliberately?

She's been a snake to me so what's there to just say a few words to hurt someone?

Although reality is there, what I'd give to see my parents smile at me once again, to hear their individual laughter, to feel their arms around mine, to taste my Mum's food, watch soccer with my Dad and so many more things that might be stupid to mention.

Talking of being with my parents, it's been a little while since I had the time to visit their burial sites.

It will soon be their death anniversary anyway, and I, Leo and Buff would always make time for it.

As soon as it's November 20th, it'll be two years since they passed.

I should make plans for that.

The elevator opens and Iris smiles at me like she did previously.
