The carriage ride was peaceful and they rode at a smooth pace, not too fast nor slow. It was begin to grow dark when the carriage entered another sect.

After identification, the carriage entered the gate of the sect and drove to a inn where they finally stopped.

The head guard came to the carriage carrying the young teens and opened the door.

"We'll be resting her for the night" he said and helped Princess Lijuan out of the carriage

Xiao Zhan and the others claimed down too and looked around. The inn did not look very big but it was decent enough for royalty to send the night.

The head guard quickly booked four rooms and they soon separated after a light meal.

Xiao Zhan entered his room after accompanying Xiao Lijuan to her's. He sat cross legged on the bed and opened the system store.

Earlier, he had searched for X+ talent cultivation techniques and although he had found a few, they had all left him stunned. They're prices were all just ridiculous

•°Five-Element Cultivation Technique ≈ 100,000 coins°•

•°Draw and Slash Saber Art ≈ 10,000 coins°

•°Fire Art Cultivation Technique≈ 5,000 coins°•

•°Martial Fist Techniques ≈ 30,000 coins°•

•°Flaming Eagle Technique ≈ 20,000°•

•°Earth....°•

The list seemed to go on forever but Xiao Zhan couldn't bear to look at them because of their price.

The cheapest item he could find there was worth 1,000 coins and that was because it was a simple punching technique.

This was a problem for Xiao Zhan as he only had zero coins in the system.

'How do I get coins?' he asked

{•°Coins can be gotten through the following ways

☞ Buying Coins with Spirit Stones: 1 low grade spirit stone = 25 coins, 1 mid grade spirit stone = 50 coins, 1 high grade spirit stone = 100 coins

☞ Killing demons to earn coins according to demon's rank

☞ Breaking through in cultivation: 1 stage = 100 coins, 1 level = 1,000 coins, 1 tier = 10,000 coins. Extra 100,000 coins every tiers.

☞ Selling things to the system

☞ Gaining reputation points: 10 RP = 5 coins°•}

Xiao Zhan smiled. It appeared the system was not stingy with coins at all. The methods to get them were all okay. He was also thankful the system didn't make him do missions or quests. He found them annoying and a distraction.

Xiao Zhan checked his storage ring again.

He had a million coins, a thousand mid grade spirit stones and fifty high grade spirit stones in there. This goes far to speak of the Xiao Sect wealth if they could give this much each to all four of them.

Xiao Zhan directly took out five hundred mid grade spirit stones and converted them to the system coins.

•°Ding. 25,000 has been added to your account. Balance ≈ 25,000°•

Xiao Zhan quickly bought the •°Fire Art Cultivation Technique°•. He could have bought a complete five element technique but they were way too expensive.

Opening his inventory, Xiao Zhan took out the manual. He was about to shut down the system when something else caught his eyes.

It was one of the items he got from the old man. A silver key with weird red signs on it, attached to a chain. Xiao Zhan tapped on the key

•°Name ≈ ????°•

•°Type ≈ Accessory°•

•°Info ≈ A strange key that seems to contain the energy of the heaven and earth forged millions of years ago. It cannot be held by any human and has a strange demonic aura around it. Please handle with caution. Once taken out of inventory, it cannot be returned °•

Xiao Zhan was taken aback by the information the system provided. The key definitely wasn't ordinary by even the system didn't tell him what it was exactly.

Since he couldn't take it out to examine it more, Xiao Zhan decided to ignore it for now.

He flipped open the pages of the new cultivation technique he bought.

•°Fire Art Cultivation Technique°• as the name suggested was a technique for people who awaken elemental attributes of fire.

The fire element was one of the five elements Xiao Zhan had awakened. The others were water, darkness, wind, lighting.

Xiao Zhan however choose to unlock the fire element first because of it's destructive power. It wasn't that lighting was any less destructive but the fire element was more common and easier to cultivate.

In the end, the lighting and darkness elements were the hardest once to cultivate and would be Xiao Zhan's trump cards.

As the night became more prominent, Xiao Zhan busied himself with learning the cultivation technique of the fire element.

The journey continued early the next morning and they left the sect.

*Yawn*

"You look tired. Didn't you sleep well last night, my lady?" Xiao Delun asked Xiao Lijuan when she yawned into her elbow

Xiao Lijuan shook her head

"Couldn't. I'm not used to sleeping outside my room" she replied with a slight smile "I wonder how long till we get to Gushing Glory"

"Five days." Li Yuan answered walking towards them "Once we leave the kingdom we'll have to cross Lily Valley then go through Sapphire Country. Gushing Glory Country is right in the middle of Black Dragon Nation"

The other three looked at him with questioningly.

Li Yuan shrugged his shoulders indifferently

"I did some research before we left" he said

"Where's Lily Valley? I didn't know you'd find Lilies in a valley" Xiao Zhan said in confusion

Li Yuan smirked at him and replied

"That the thing. Lily Valley has no Lily. It was named after a great empress who awakened an earth attribute. She was so powerful, she started and ended many wars. The empress favorite flower was the Lily."

"According to history, the empress met her downfall in a valley and her body was never found. However, the valley went completely dry like a dessert and nothing could be done to revert it to it's original state. Many people believed that the empress absorbed all the energy in the valley to bring herself to life. Ever since, people started calling the Valley, Lily Valley in memory of the empress who died there"

"Wow..." Xiao Lijuan gushed after Li Yuan finished his story "Do you think it's true that the empress came back to life?"

Li Yuan shrugged again.

"Her body was never found" he replies "Anything would have happened"

"But this happened hundreds of years ago. I wonder how you still found out about it" Xiao Delun said "Things like this are not public knowledge"

Before Li Yuan could reply, Xiao Lijuan spoke first excitedly

"Tell us another story. Since Brother Zhan is being stingy about sharing his travel adventures, can you tell us anymore story you know?" She asked

"Sure. My dad was a record keeper once so I know a few interesting things" Li Yuan replied and thought for a moment before he started speaking again

"Have you heard of the Mourning Rosemary?" He asked

"A flower that blooms in the morning?" Xiao Delun asked almost sarcastically.

"No. It's a flower that cries actually. It is like the Weeping Willow. Those two flowers are grown with the tears of a...
