Divine Trinity Quest: Into the Server's Edge

In the world of Shannia, the holders of the powerful Divine Trinity Frames waged a catastrophic war against each other. The aftermath of their battle sparked a quest to obtain these fabled relics. For centuries, Frame Users have raced to the Edge of the Server, vying to claim the Frames and bend reality to their will. But the quest is treacherous, and only the strongest will survive to claim victory. Will you be the one to conquer the Divine Trinity Quest and rewrite the fate of Shannia? ————— ⚠️ MC's POV blurb: “Find me at the edge of the Server, Kai,” were the last words my mother before she disappeared. Then I was fooled and got stuck in a game called "Shannia" where 100 years is a measly 1 hour in the real world. Alice—the girl who introduced me to this game told me I will die in real life if I die here. I don't fully believe her. However, I won't take a chance. I will see everything through until I learn the truth. That changed when she told me about the Divine Trinity Quest by going to the server's edge. I feel. . . somehow, I could discover my past by completing this quest. And maybe, hopefully, I will find my mother there. Observation

I'm in the center of the dance floor now. Everyone is looking at me. I feel their stares on my skin. This is so. . . scary. They could be thinking that I'm nothing but a dweeb—as I always have been in my entire life. How could I possibly fire up this crowd? How could I be enough? I'm probably the most boring person in the entire universe.

"Finish 'em, chief!" my crew behind me cheers.

That startles me a little bit and leave it to my instinct. As I have said, my body remembers the moves I danced. I just let it move how it wants to move with the beat. All is well as I show them dance moves that I think are pretty basic but they still cheer on me. Then I remember that this body of mine is capable of. This is not the body that cannot feel its legs, it's the body that can jump high, and run so fast! It'd be a waste if I won't use it!

Even if I have never done this before, I backflip but spin too much! I hit the back of my head against the floor! Ugh! It hurts! My legs are in the air and I thought I should cover this mistake with a handstand that only lasted a second. Then my back hits the floor.

I'm confused. Why are they cheering like crazy? That was the worst dance I have ever known! I stand on my feet and my crew tells me to raise my fist so I did. The audience cheer so loud that my eardrums feel pain. I don't know what to feel. My stunt was stupid but they liked it.

I return to my crew and I feel a little bit dizzy. The back of my head feels moist. I touch it and there's blood.

"That was a crazy stunt, chief!" the mohawk guy praises me but I can't thank him for the moment. I feel. . . I'm about to faint.

But I can't. . . I must stay awake or. . . I'll miss my chance. Or worse, I'll forget the faces of these people. No one seems to be noticing my injury as the lights are too blue and dark. They are focused on the last guy on the other crew dancing on the floor. Although dizzy, I can tell that the cheers from my dance were stronger. I can see the frustration on his bull-like face as he dances all he can but cannot fire up the crowd as I did.

Everyone is having fun. If I was a guy that sneakily abducts people, I'm sure this is a great chance. All of the attention is focused on one. Other things are neglected. I better keep an eye out. Ugh. . . but I can't with my head! My eyes want to close. Come on, don't give up! You'll miss your chance.

Massaging my head, I check the faces I know. My crewmates are complete, and so does the other crew. Then someone gets in the middle, gesturing his hand at us. The crowd cheers very loud it's making my head dizzier! Then there is a second cheer when the guy gestures at our opponents. The noise is less loud than ours but it still makes my head feel like floating.

<Leveled up to 11>

Oh, I leveled up. That's good. *Groan* My head hurts. I must find a place to rest. On second thought, no. The girls who I approached earlier are inviting us to dance. I can't right now. That's not even my purpose. Wait. . . what was my purpose again?

After thinking hard, I still can't remember. Oh, crap. . . I'm too dizzy! They're pulling me for a dance. Why can't they see my suffering face? Why are they still smiling at me? Do I have to tell them that I hit my head? Such annoying NPCs.

I hate this! I can't remember why I'm doing all of this! ARGH!!! L. . . Luca? Lucy? Oh! Lucy!! That's it! I'm here to rescue her from the. . . Phantom! *Sigh* Thank goodness, I still remember.

"Are you okay?" asks the girl near me.

"Yeah, I am," I answer, not caring to remove the frown of pain on my face. She won't even notice.

"You were so cool back there. What's your name?"

"Cancer."

"I'm Kirana."

I don't know how to respond further so I just smile and look into her eyes. She's a lady with blue glossy fish skin. Her ears look like fins and her lips are shiny blue. She almost looks like a mermaid. My dizziness has taken over me and I didn't notice that I was staring at her for a while now. So, I look away. She does so too but with a smile.

"Say," I ask her. "how long have you been here?"

"I don't know, maybe a hundred years?"

"A century?!!!" I couldn't help but exclaim and she looks startled. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm new here so. . ."

"It's okay." She nods smiling.

"A century. . . that's impressive."

"It's not that impressive. Others have been here for millennia."

What are these guys? Partying for that long? No one— Oh, this is Shannia. Of course, it will make sense!

"How about you?" she asks.

"Oh, I've been here for two months, I guess."

She's peering at my face. "You look quite familiar. Have we met before?"

"I think no, we haven't."

"That's one of Her Majesty's husbands," says the skeleton guy.

"You are?!" she exclaims. I smile awkwardly. "Then I should leave you alone. I don't want to anger the Queen."

"It's okay. I'm nothing to her."

She tilts her head in confusion. "What level are you, again?"

I feel if I reveal it, it'll negatively affect my popularity. So, I need a distraction. Then my sight passes over her shoulder to look at the others.

As I remember, she has two other friends. They must be dancing with the other crew mates. But no. . . there is only one. Where did the other one go?

"Where is your other friend?" I ask.

Writing this book is a blast! I see a lot of potential story arcs that I think will be so exciting. Keep tuning in!
