THREE MONTHS LATER

Although there are various things the Monster Slaying Regiment ranked which are unknown to the normal civilians, there is one ranking system which the civilians as well as the military know which is the Power Ranks.

The Power ranking system is what all humans as well as monsters use to measure themselves and others.

The Power Ranks are the Meridian Opening Rank which ranges from stage 1-8, Body Tempering Rank that ranges from stage 1-9, Spirit Fusion Rank that ranges from stage 1-9, Qi Fusion Rank that ranges from stage 1-9, Qi King Rank that ranges from stage 1-3, Qi Monarch Rank that ranges from stage 1-3 and the Qi Emperor Rank which is the last Rank that ranges from stage 1-3.

"And who might be the Qi Emperor in the future?" Asked Menacing Demon with a look of disbelief on his face.

"Kyler Pearce" Venerable Phoebe replied with slight excitement on her face.

"That 12 years old kid!?" Menacing Demon asked with an incredulous expression on his face.

"He's 12 years old!?" Venerable Phoebe asked back with a shocked expression on her face. But after some time, both Venerable Phoebe and Menacing Demon calmed down.

"Looks like what Supreme Elder divinated is accurate" Menacing Demon suddenly said while having a hideous smile hung on his face.

"It seems so" Venerable Phoebe confirmed with a brilliant smile now on her charming face. Not long after, both she and Menacing Demon suddenly vanished from where they were above the Military Combat Pavilion.

«So what are we going to start with in this three months long seclusion» Pearce asked after he finally arrived at his room.

«Tempering your body of cause» Pearce's replica replied in an obvious tone.

«But is this really necessary? Now that I just broke through the Body Tempering Rank, shouldn't I be learning new spells while meditating which will now help my body tempering?» Pearce asked with a doubtful expression on his face.

«If we do what you just said, I can assure you that your foundation won't be strong enough to withstand the higher Power Ranks. So we have to temper your body to the limit» The replica calmly explained. After seeing that his original seemed to have agreed to what he said, he then said excitedly.

«So now bring your storage pouch, let's go buy some medicinal herbs»

And so, Pearce and his replica began to temper the former's body to the limit. After they successfully did that, Pearce's replica began to teach Pearce some grade one spells. Later on, Drake came to visit Pearce to notify him that the higher ups has granted them the permission to use the platform at the Military Combat Pavilion which made him to occasionally go there to get familiar with the new grade one spells his replica taught him.

Also, the new recruits that didn't get there first offensive spell previously finally got gifted with an offensive spell by the higher ups.

Three months later…

"Rise up soldiers!! It's a brand new day!!" Announced a thin man wearing a dark blue colored military attire as he stood solitary at ease at the beginning of a long hall.

Not long after after the thin man announced, young teenagers that wore light blue military attire began to come out of their rooms.

'Hmm?' Thought the thin looking man as he put his gaze at three people that just came out of there rooms. Why the thin man put his gaze at these three people is because he felt their aura were clearly higher than the rest of the teenagers that just came out.

'Although I wouldn't be surprised if these two boys would get to this stage in just three months, but I can't believe a girl actually caught up to them' The thin looking man thought with a slight trace of shock in his eyes.

The two boys and a girl the thin man was referring to are precisely Raynold Vlahovic, Powell Thomas and Caroline!!

When the thin looking man noticed their aura, he slightly use his mind to inspect them and he discovered that they were actually at stage 5 of the Body Tempering Rank.

'Someone actually caught up with me' Powell thought with a gloomy expression now on his face. Powell was one of the few people who really went into 'seclusion'.

'Wait… someone is missing' Powell thought as he looked at the only door that hasn't been opened since when the thin man announced.

Not only him, but the rest of the teenagers in the hall had similar thoughts in the minds as the put their gaze at the door Powell is looking at.

'Why hasn't he come out yet?' Caroline thought as she stared at the door everyone else is looking at with a worried expression on her face.

During these past three months, although Caroline and the one in that room haven't gotten into an relationship, she have boldly stepped forward to become friends with the person.

But apparently, she intended to strike off getting into an relationship with the person. But the person calmed her down by saying.

"Before we get into an relationship, let's first become friends to get to know each other"

And so, although she was a bit sad that she didn't get into an relationship with the person, she still felt satified by how things are progressing between them.

'I can't believe someone will be late for roll call in this important day' The thin man thought with a dissatisfied exoression on his face. But before he could speak, someone suddenly flashed out if the door him along with the rest of the teenagers were looking at.

"Sorry for being late Senior" said a handsome looking 13 years old boy as he scratched his head while laughing embarrassedly.

This 13 years old boy had long green hairs which was combed down in an orderly manner as it seems to to have rested on his shoulders, a pair of glowing light green eyes which seems to a pair of light green suns and a well carved shaped face as it's skin glows. Compared to a year ago, this person seems to be a completely different person.

'Hmph!' Thought the thin man as he casually used his mind to check Pearce Power Rank in a practiced manner. But in the next moment, he eyes became as wide as saucers as his breathing became hurried.

"What's wrong Senior?" Pearce asked with a confused expression on his face. But in the next moment, he became speechless.

"Stage 8 of the Body Tempering Rank!!" The thin looking man exclaimed with a look of disbelief on his face.
