"Woah! It's finally time"

"I have been waiting for two months for this"

"Of cause you have to wait for two months. Didn't you hear that its just a week ago this year's last new recruits came back from there Test Mission?"

"Wait, really!?"

Right now, a bunch of teens on light green military uniforms could be seen walking into a large and wide building as they discussed among themselves animatedly.

"This is the place Brother Pearce" a lady in her 20s that has silky long dark hair and a pair of dark eyes said with a charming smile on her face.

"Thank you for guiding me Sister Hinata" Pearce said with a light smile on his dashing face.

"You're most welcome" Hinata replied with a charming smile still on her face.

"Wait… Isn't that Lieutenant Hinata?"

"What is she doing here?"

"And who is that boy next to her?"

"Hmm… I don't think I have seen him before"

"But he's kind of handsome"

While Pearce left Hinata and began to walk towards the wide building, he could hear some discussion among the people around him as they glanced secretly at him.

«Looks like you have now become the center of attention» Pearce's replica said with a mischievous smile on his face.

«Shut up» Pearce rebuked with a straight face.

"Hey there! The new face!"

Right before Pearce could get into the building, he suddenly paused since he felt he was being called. And so, after he paused, he turned his head towards the source of that voice.

What he saw was a boy that really have huge biceps which made his light green military uniform to look tight in his body. He has dark hair that has a shade of brown at its edges, a pair of brown eyes and kind of a tough look in his face.

"Say, I don't think I have seen you around here before" Said the boy after he approached Pearce.

"No you haven't" Pearce replied with an indifferent look on his face.

"If so then how come you are here?" The boy asked with a curious look on his face.

"I recently got transferred here" Pearce said before he immediately resumed his walk towards the wide building.

"Hey! Wait up!" The tough looking boy exclaimed as he immediately caught up with Pearce.

"Am Robert Hummingbird. Can I know yours?" The tough looking boy said as he hint of anticipation was on his face.

'Hummingbird?' Pearce thought as he suddenly had the urge to laugh. But he immediately subdued it since he had a bad feeling in him if he did laugh.

"Kyler Pearce" Pearce said in an indifferent tone even if he was now in a good mood.

"Well then it's a pleasure to meet you Pearce" Robert said with a joyful smile in his face.

While Pearce and Robert were talking, they have already gotten into the building. What they saw were seat lined up in 10 rows as they all faced a rather wide podium.

"Let's go take a seat over there" Robert said with a light smile on his face as he pointed at a random seat at the 6th row.

"Hmm" Pearce said with a slight nod. But right when they were about to go over the place Robert just pointed at, something happened.

"Haha… I can't believe someone is actually named hummingbird… hahaha… you are gonna kill me man"

"Sshh!, Keep it down. You don't wanna get into trouble with him"

At a distance from where Robert and Pearce are, two boys that were both wearing light green military uniforms could be seen standing together. One if them has dark blue hair while the other has dark green hair.

The one with the dark blue hair was the one who was laughing while the other was the one that was telling the former to quiet down.

"Could you please wait for me here. I will be back real quick" Robert said with a calm smile in his face. But Pearce could see the rage that was already in its peak in the depths of his eyes.

"Sure" Pearce said calmly even if he could feel the chill running down his spine after seeing the rage in Roberts eyes.

After he got a reply from Pearce, he suddenly turned his gaze to the two boys at the distance. But this time, his face was completely cold as he looked at the two boys menacingly.

Whoosh!!

'Such speed!!' Pearce thought with a shocked expression on his face after he saw how Robert dashed towards the two boys at the distance.

'Oh no…' Horror dawned upon the green haired boy when he felt the menacing aura locking on to him. Why he was horror filled was because he knew who was the owner of this terrifying aura.

But before he could warn the blue haired boy, it was already too late.

Bam!!

Bam!!

As soon as Robert approached them, he immediately sent two punches towards the two boys which sent them flying.

"What's going on!?"

"Why are those two guys flying?"

"Isn't that Robert?"

Some people that were nearby were completely surprised when they saw two boys flying across the hall. But some were fast thinkers when they saw Robert standing at the place the two boys flew off from.

'These guys must have laughed at Roberts surname'

This was in the mind of the fast thinking soldiers after pondering about this scene.

"Sorry I took too long" Robert said after he came back to where Pearce was standing.

"Oh no, it's nothing" Pearce said calmly even he was completely shocked in him.

'I can't believe this guy is actually at the 2nd stage of the Spirit Fusion Rank!' Pearce thought with shick still in him.

«What a Talent!» Pearce's replica exclaimed with a surprised expression on his face. But when Pearce heard that, his face suddenly turned glum.

But Pearce quickly came back to normal as he declared resolutely in his mind.

'i will pass you one day!'

While Pearce was thinking that, both him and Robert have already been seated at a random seat in the middle of the 6th row.

Not long after Pearce and Robert sat down, the entrance was suddenly closed at lights illuminated only on the podium.

"Welcome everyone to the 50th annual Soldier Rank Conference Meeting!" A voice suddenly rang out all over the wide hall.

Not long after this voice rang out, a strong wind suddenly appeared at the center of the podium in the form of a mini tornado. But as soon as this mini tornado subsided, a frail looking old man could be seen standing at the same spot the mini tornado appeared on the podium.

This old man has a long and a bit spikey white hair that fell all the way to his thigh, blue eyes that shines brightly like it was full of life and wore a azure colored robe which has a white colored linen all over it.

"My God!! I can't believe he is the one hosting this meeting" Robert suddenly exclaimed with a surprised expression on his face.

"Who is he?" Pearce asked with a curious expression slightly ok his face.

"He is Venerable Wayne but he is commonly known as 'The Wind'. What made me to exclaim previously was because he is one of the people that has gotten into the Qi Monarch Rank" Robert exclaimed with an excited expression on his face.

'Qi Monarch!!?' Pearce thought as he narrowed his eyes in shock.

Although he hasn't experienced the power of a Qi Monarch Powerhouse before. But he knows that people who have reached that Rank has gone beyond extraordinary!.

'Looks like things are going to get interesting' Pearce suddenly thought with a light smirk on his face.
