"There it is! She really pulled it out!" told a demon. Turing the card around what Xianwu saw was not the portrait of a beautiful woman grasping a sword however, a red scythe forged over it. Xianwu's eyes widened in shock. "What is this…?" she asked. "She lost! It's the card of death!" whispered the demons altogether. "What's going to happen now?" they asked curiously.

"The card of death?" asked Xianwu perplexed. However, it still wasn't the card she was wishing for. A smile soon escaped her lips. Flipping the card around for the figure before her to see Xianwu spoke up. "Looks like I lost." She told. "She really did lose. Does it mean she isn't getting food? Or is it something else." Asked the demons. The figure gazing at her smiled "You didn't." he said. Hearing his words the whole hall want silent. "What did the lord say? She didn't? What does that mean?! She clearly pulled the wrong card!!" they told. "I was just teaching you. It wasn't a game to determine loss or win in the first place." The figure told. Xianwu looked at him in wonder.

"It wasn't?" the demons asked each other shocked. "We'll play another round to determine the winner. Maybe you'll win then." The figure announced. "The lord will play another round with her? Just who is she? The lord is willing to play with her again." They whispered. "Moreover, he thinks that she might win. Does the lord really want her to win so badly?" they asked. "Maybe the lord wants to see how well he taught her." Assumed one of them. "What do you say… sister?" the figure asked mischievously.

Xianwu taking a deep breath nodded once more. Su Yuewei who was stuck up busted in anger "Don't listen to him! He is just playing with you! He won't let you win not even once! Let me go! You demons!!" she angered. "Shut the hell up you rascal! We are watching something interesting here!! How dare you say, that our master is playing around!" the demons angered. "He was just teaching her how the game is played. How would, you know if she wins or loses the next round!" they angered.

"Yeah, dear boy. If I hear your voice once more, I'll make sure to kiss you up and swallow that little beautiful body of yours." Warned a demon woman. Su Yuewei who was embarrassed and enraged at the same time, now had no choice but to stay quiet.

Xianwu sighed hard, "I just wish she would stop speaking or else things might get even more out of hand." She thought hopelessly. Stepping towards him Xianwu spoke up, "Alright… I will play." She told. Hearing her words the figure once again placed a bunch of cards before. Without a second of hesitation Xianwu once more pulled out a card. Flipping it around, Xianwu saw another portrait drawn over it however, this time it was of a boy holding a long rod tied with a bag at the end with a flower in the other hand.

"It's a fool's card." The demons whispered. "Fools card?" asked Xianwu. Handing the card back to the figure, Xianwu was once again faced with a whole bunch of cards again. "I should really pull out the right card this time…" Xianwu thought hard. "But where could it be… in the center, towards the right or towards the left? I don't get it…" she continued. The demons looked at her curiously. Weixiao who stood worriedly gazed.

"Good luck, your highness! Even though I know that your luck is sealed and as worse as catastrophes but maybe this time only you can do it…!" he encouraged her in his thoughts. Taking a deep breath, Xianwu pulled her hand reaching towards the center, "It's now… or never. With heavens grace… may all paths be unveiled." Xianwu prayed.

Closing her eyes she pulled out a card while the figure smiled. Taking the card into her hands Xianwu grasped it tight, while her heart beat fast. "What to do… I don't want to look…" she thought. However, a soft voice interrupted her thoughts, "See sister, I told you not to worry…" the figure spoke. Xianwu opening her eyes turned the card around rapidly. "You already won." He continued. In her hand rested a beautiful golden card with the same figure of the boy holding a flower, resting over it.

Xianwu stared at it with her eyes widened. "I did it…?" she asked herself surprised. "She really did it! Unbelievable! She did won!!" cheered the demons. "She did it!" cheered Weixiao as well. "Our lord is such a great teacher! Even the unluckiest ones are turned to become the luckiest!! Haha! You brat! Did your mouth shut up now?!" asked one of the demons while eyeing Su Yuewei who stared at Xianwu silent. "What? Cat got you tongue!!" asked a demon while eyeing her. "Haha! Our lord is the best!!" the demons cheered.

Xianwu looked up staring at the hazy figure before her soon sighing. "I didn't win… it was all because of Xiao yin. He must've changed the card. I wasn't lucky at all. If I get a chance to meet him again. I will surely thank him for that." she thought. Gazing at the card in her hand Xianwu handed it back to the figure. "Keep it…" he told. "It's for you." Xianwu looking at the figure at the card wondered. "For me…?" she thought confused. "Over here!!" Weixiao soon waved his hand towards Xianwu calling.

Grasping his sight Xianwu walked below the stairs. Weixiao walked towards her, the two of them soon reconciling. "Are you alright?" he asked worriedly. "I am fine… though, I was really scared before." Xianwu confessed. Weixiao looked at her regretfully. "I am sorry! I couldn't help you!" he cried with his puppy dog face. Xianwu shaking her head right to left rejected, "No don't worry about it at all." Weixiao nodded soon rubbing his tears off.
