Jiang Ying Yue's Decision

In a room filled with treasury, stood a girl who was currently frozen in shock.

'Home? My world? Earth?' That was what in Jiang Ying Yue's head when she heard the question.

As if that voice heard her thought, it asked again. "Yes home. Do you want to go back?"

Jiang Ying Yue just stood there looking at the woman in front of her foolishly.

"Jiang Ying Yue, I have the power to send you back to your previous world. You can go back there and live your life normally again. You don't need to worry about being strong, cultivate and even live in a foreign world. You can just go back to work and not worry about anything in this foreign world."

The way the woman spoke almost made Jiang Ying Yue nodded her head agreeing to her.

But at the last moment, she stopped herself.

Why? Because she knew for a fact that she was already dead. Yes maybe the woman in front of her did have the power to send her back but how? Was she going to enter someone else's body again?

Her original body had probably already rotten or cremated. That was if they found her body and maybe some parts of her body were already missing due to the impact of the crash.

So, Jiang Ying Yue wasn't going to take the risk to trust the woman's word. Plus, although the woman in white seemed like she knew what she was talking about, Jiang Ying Yue noticed that she didn't say the word 'earth' and kept on saying previous world instead. Maybe she felt that word to foreign or she couldn't read Jiang Ying Yue's mind fully.

It was actually true. At one point when she was here, Jiang Ying Yue wished that she was back on earth so badly. Almost everything was foreign to her here; how the world worked, the rules and even the animals.

She just missed her mundane life of going to work, researching, joining the special force, reading, watching drama and she even missed the internet! Honestly, with very limited things to do everyday, she was already quite tired of it.

Imagine you arriving in a foreign world without knowing anything or anyone here at all.

And plus, she had this curse with limited timeline for her to make a pill and suppress the chaotic energy from going rampant and the highest level talent that needed to be hidden otherwise various powerhouses would try to kill her.

But then, she also had a good and kind family who adopted her and treated her like their own child, a very good master to teach and guide her and a few good friends.

Somehow, she didn't want to go back to earth that much anymore. Her life there had ended and this was a new life given to her. And there was still one more thing and that was, her promise to the original host of this body.

So no! She wasn't going to go back there ever! She had parents and a complete family now and she wasn't going to trade that for anything.

Jiang Ying Yue said to the woman in white in front of her in a firm and resolute voice. "No thank you. I'll stay here and and continue on the path that I have chosen. Be it hard, full of thorns or even if I die again, I don't mind it. At least, I died trying and I died in honor."

The woman seemed to be stunned for a bit before she laughed, "Hahaha if that is what you wished for then." Then, the woman disappeared.

Then Jiang Ying Yue opened her eyes only to see her still in the same treasury room but the ordinary looking stone just sat there quietly without making any sound anymore.

Jiang Ying Yue then went to one of the treasures and pick up one of them.

"I choose this." She lifted the treasure in her hand up.

"Are you sure? Only that?" The male voice asked.

"Yes, positive." The voice was quiet for a while before it was heard again.

"Congratulations. You have passed the last stage which was to have a strong heart. You managed to only choose one item and didn't succumb to greed and you even managed to reject something that your heart desired the most. After this, just walk forward and you'll see the way out of here."

What was this? A game? It totally sounded like a game that she played back then. It would shout "Congratulations! You have defeated the monster. Proceed to the next level." She played that game because one of her teammates recommended her that game to play to kill time with when she's bored and she enjoyed it quite a bit.

But why did the voice talk like the game?

Hey! You were the voice actor from the game weren't you?

You transmigrated here too right?

Tsk old habit die hard indeed. He couldn't get rid of his habit talking like he was in a game at all. What a pitiful man. He must've been bored staying here playing this game with people.

If only the owner of the voice could hear her thoughts, he would be angry till he vomit blood! What was this girl thinking? A game?

Suddenly, a vortex appeared in front of Jiang Ying Yue again woosh! It sucked her in it and voila! Jiang Ying Yue was back at the same tunnel.

She recalled the voice's words. So she should just walk forward right?

Jiang Ying Yue walked forward in large strides but at the same time, she still stayed on alert. Well it wouldn't hurt to be extra careful right?

After around 10 minutes, she arrived in front of a huge door.

It was a huge golden door filled with carvings. It was the same ones that she saw on the walls except that, there was a dragon carving on the door that looked as if it was alive. It's blood red eyes stared at her as if she was it's prey.

Although it was just a drawing, the carving really did make her feel scared. She wondered how scary would it be if the dragon was alive.

Jiang Ying Yue touched her hands on the huge door and pushed it open. Surprisingly, it was really easy for her to open the huge door; it was as if the door opened itself for her.
