After confirming his relationship with Niera, he returned to the underground cave to safely experience a breakthrough to the King Soul Stage without meeting Ezekiel Alstreim or anyone else. He had wanted to talk to them to see if he could take them out but talking with Niera had made him determined to take them out.
Niera's emotions towards him were as confused and innocent they could be as she was a maiden in love, and that didn't change after they had kissed. She still looked at him with a bit of adoration and shyness that he couldn't help but ask why she fell in love with him.
