Water and oil(a karmic relation)

Uday took a cab to his house and took his car and went to the hospital. Upon his arrival everyone asks him so many questions about his whereabouts, he could neither tell them about his discoveries nor about his sudden disappearance. He answers the elders' questions while stummering.

"Did the police take that long collecting evidence?" Asked his grandmother Kamala.

"Yes Uday, why did you take that long, where were you?" Asked Anaya his Mother.

"Spear him with all these questions, Uday is still in shock after finding his sister in such a state." Said his father Vinayak.

"Well the least he can do is to tell us where he went brother." Said Kamini his aunt.

"I went....for a....a walk, .....well ummh I....I just..." answered Uday stummering.

"I think Uday is still in shock, your sister has been asking for you." Said Anaya.

"If you are all outside then who is with Shanaya?" Asked Uday.

Chirag comes out of the room to call Uday as Shanaya kept on asking about him.

"Uday, why did you take this long Shanaya is asking about you." Said Chirag.

"How is she doing now, when did she wake up?" Asked Uday as he got emotional.

"She woke up about an hour ago and she has been asking about you since." Said Chirag.

" why don't you go in and see her" said Anaya.

"I need some fresh air, I can't face her after finding her in such a condition mom, inspite of being her brother I couldn't protect her mom, so how do I face her?" Said Uday as tears started dropping down his face and the sound of his voice was clear enough that he was hurting.

Chirag starts to cry as well, it was as if both their world were coming to an end.

"Uday dear, just go in and see her, the doctor said that she has lost her memory so be mindful of what you say to her, it will be okay and the culprits will be caught." said kamini consoling Uday.

Uday walks into the room very slowly and touches the door's handle, he looks back on his family and they all node their heads and he walks in, the happiness on Shanaya's face upon seeing her brother was fulfilling but the pain on Uday's face upon seeing her sister's condition was so visible.

"It's okay brother, I am still alive, I'm not dead." Said Shanaya hoping to cheer her brother up.

"It's not funny Shanaya." Said Uday in pain.

"But brother, you and Chirag are making it seem as if I almost died or something, I'm not in a comma I'm alive!" Said Shanaya.

"You should stop worrying this much, your Shanaya is alive okay." Said Shanaya consoling her brother.

"I should stop worrying you say? Shanaya inspite of being your elder brother I couldn't protect you and you are telling me to stop worrying!?" Said Uday with so much pain and rage.

"Brother calm down, I'm Sorry! I don't even remember what happened to me, it must've been huge." Said Shanaya.

"No I'm Sorry, I should control my self." Said Uday hurting very much.

"I wonder what state you found me in that got both you and Chirag like this, but hey, nothing has happened to your sister, you got me in hospital just in time so what if you didn't protect me, you did save my life and that is more important." Said Shanaya trying to console her brother.

"It's okay, let leave this, you are fine and that is more important." Said Uday holding his sister's hand.

"I should tell everyone to go back home and I will stay here, with you." Said Uday.

As he was saying that Chirag walks in and told him that he would like to be the one to stay with Shanaya to keep her company during the night, he can come back tomorrow. Uday kept refusing but he eventually agreed since it was what Shanaya wants, he takes everyone home so they can rest. While at Arnav's place, Chitra walks in as they had decided to have a movie night. She had come with food and snacks for Arnav and his younger brother, the Kapoor family lives in Mumbai, while Arnav and his younger brother Virat stays in Pune because they were starting another branch of their business there. Chitra finds Arnav on the couch with an aggressive behavior, and talks to him.

"Arnav dear, I have the snacks and dinner we can start the date night." Said Chitra lovingly.

"Not now Chitra I'm tired!" Replied Arnav aggressively.

"But Arnav you never give me attention these days, it's like everything has changed between us." Said Chitra trying to convey her feelings.

"Chitra I said not now, I'm tired and I want to sleep!" Replied Arnav with enraged.

"What about all these things that I've brought here, what about my effort and wasted time?" Asked Chitra feeling hurt.

"What about the fact that I had a long day and I want to sleep? What about the fact that I'm tired!?" Asked Arnav very angrily.

Virat comes out of his room angry and shouts at Chitra.

"Can't you hear what brother Said? We want to sleep and we are tired can you please let us be now?" Asked Virat very rudely.

"Virat mind your tone!" Said Chitra angrily. 

"Well why don't you just excuse us Chitra? We want to sleep now please leave from here!" Said Arnav in an aggressive manner.

Chitra puts all the things she had bought for the date night down and looked at both Arnav and Virat with teary eyes, she turns her back and started leaving but as she was about to walk out of the door, she turns around and looks at Arnav, she also looks at Virat, that is when she noticed a bit of blood on Virat's t-shirt. She thought that maybe she is seeing things and already they are angry so she turned her back and left.
