Divergent check new

*This work has been reuploaded and edited please check new* In a universe shaped by an enigmatic entity known as the Oracle, a singular species emerges: the Dyyx. Born to fulfill the grand cosmic process called 'The Cycle Of Evolution', the Dyyxs wield the destiny of planets. The Cycle Of Evolution, a universal phenomenon, marks a planet's ascent to a new era through evolution. Orchestrated by the Oracle, the process mandates the arrival of two Dyyxs, reincarnated without memory, on the chosen planet. Guided by an unknown force, they tread distinct paths: one as the protagonist, the other as the antagonist. Their clash is destined, with good triumphing over evil, and the protagonist steering the world towards its destined future. But for X-204, a Dyyx awakening with fragmented memories, fate takes an unexpected twist. He, alongside counterpart Y-204, is thrust into pods of uncertainty, bound for Earth. Amidst the journey, a glitch resurrects X-204's memories, unshackling the truth of his creation, the relentless cycle, and the Oracle's manipulation. As revelations flood his consciousness, X-204 confronts a pivotal decision—to break free from the Oracle's puppet strings and carve a destiny uniquely his own. *** I really hope this novel gets a lot of follow up this time, as I would really like to continue with it. and I also hope you the readers enjoy it as well. the story might start off at quite a considerable slow pace but please bear. stories with enough screen time to small things always turn out to be the best. patience is a virtue that pays off and I can promise this will eventually pay off. and yes there's a villain tag, that's because the storyline actually revolves around two mcs one the protagonist and the other the antagonist although we start off with the protagonist.

IT TAKES TWO DYYXS TO DESTROY AN ORACLE'S PATH

"Big brother is a superhero now!" Aila exclaimed, her happiness evident as she sprinted toward Stare, leaping into his arms.

Stare, taken aback by her sudden shift in emotions, still welcomed her hug with open arms, lifting her off the ground.

Doush joined the excitement, rushing over and playfully shaking Stare. "Tell me, what power did you awaken? Wait! Don't tell me, I'll guess myself. Is it legendary destructive blue blazing flames right?"

Shaking his head, Stare watched as Doush thought for a moment, then brightened. "I know, it's the legendary destructive ice!"

Stare's head shook again, confusing Doush further. "Force field?"

"No," Stare finally answered, a touch of weariness in his tone. "It's teleportation."

"Oh." Doush simply responded, apparently disappointed, but then as though a perverted idea appeared in his head, his disappointed expression soon turned to one of interest as a sly smile appeared on his face.

"Ooh." He repeated with a smile on his face.

Stare didn't bother with his friend's stupid ideas and just carefully placed his sister back on the ground.

Just A Guy then spoke again, "Well with all of that being said, I'll be coming to pick him up tomorrow to fully enroll him into the Academy, so I'll advise you to cherish the time you spend today together as it might be a while you see him again."

A frown immediately appeared on Aila's face as she stared at her brother, tears welling up in her eyelids.

Stare didn't want her feeling bad, so he had to immediately make a lot of unfeasible promises to return a cute smile to her face; promises like visiting during weekends, taking her to her favorite pop band concerts, arranging a meeting to meet her favorite hero and buying her an extra large cup of strawberry flavored ice cream.

Stare's resentment for this man only grew because of this. He just had to blab it out so plainly in front of his younger sister.

How was he supposed to fulfill even one-third of these promises now?

Stare's parents had obviously forgotten their previous anger as Stare's mother quickly arranged dinner for everyone while Stare's father engaged in with Just A Guy. The discussions ranged from best Heroes to best promising Heroes and although he didn't have much knowledge of both of these topics he seemed to be holding up well.

Immediately after dinner, Just A Guy decided to take his leave. Stare's parents however wanted him to stay longer or even sleep the night over, it was obvious they still wanted to have more talks about how their son suddenly got admitted into the Prestigious Phoenix Hero Academy.

Being a prestigious Hero Academy, it was no new news that their acceptance rate wasn't high, as they were only after those with high potential, mostly children from powerful families who had already undergone various forms of training or children who had some sort of relations to top Heroes.

Unfortunately, Just A Guy nicely rejected their kind gesture. It seemed he wanted to catch up on some sort of meeting.

Stare's parents didn't press on, as they knew he was a man with a lot of responsibilities.

After Just A Guy left, the mood around didn't seem to dampen and rather seemed a lot more lively.

They all chatted happily amongst themselves.

Doush who was naturally a bag of jokes, worked his magic and kept everyone laughing their eyes out.

Time flew fast, and everyone eventually needed to rest as it had been a stressful day today.

Doush was escorted back home by Stare's father, Stare's mother went to put Aila to sleep, and Stare…he was ordered to go to bed and get his rest by his parents.

His parents were worried he wouldn't get enough sleep and end up being sluggish during his admission process, so they ensured he went to his room to get his sleep.

Stare closed his room door and stood at the door, seemingly in thought.

From tomorrow his goal to destroy the Oracle's path and walk a path he creates for himself begins.

So far his plan had been working according to his expectations.

And one would ask what his plan was.

It was quite simple, he had remembered something significant.

He remembered it took two Dyyxs to completely walk the Oracle's path and fulfill the Cycle Of Evolution, so it only made sense that it would take the two to destroy the same Oracle's path.

Stare was sure if there was anywhere he would meet his dark second half, it would be in The Phoenix Hero Academy.

He was, after all, also under the influence of the Oracle's path.

Both of them would naturally be driven to seek a place where they could harness greater power. As it stood, the sole destination for achieving extraordinary strength was none other than The Phoenix Hero Academy.

That was where their rivalry was supposed to emerge from, and so Stare was going to use the Oracle's path against the Oracle.

He wasn't sure if his counterpart had also recovered his memories just like him.

If he had then his plan might become a lot easier, after all, he had known him to be someone who hated being bossed around but if he hadn't recovered his memories…

For some reason thinking about his counterpart, a smile appeared on Stare's face.

He approached his bed and was about to lie on it when he felt an odd odor evade his nose.

He quickly covered his nose and noticed a familiar Himalayan cat lying on his bed proudly.

"Stupid Cat…what are you doing on my bed?"

The cat…Miss Puss didn't seem to mind Stare's insult and rather responded with various meows.

For some odd reason, Stare felt like he could understand what the stupid cat was saying. Was this the odd chemistry that was said to occur when two enemies fought for a long amount of time?

Meow meooow meow (I'm marking my new territory stupid…someone might not be returning, so why waste this perfect sleeping spot)

Stare suddenly felt an extreme headache as he stared helplessly at the cat on his bed.

It's about time we see our villain.

Y-204.
