The Date (1)
Thalia had been the silent thorn in the flesh of the Wanky household members. All four, Ky, his wife, Joy and their sons, Richard, and Charles, bore different levels of resentment or grievances towards Thalia Mirabel. These were emotions from the past that had not been reconciled yet.
Ky Wanky waited impatiently in his home office that weekend. He paced up and down the small length of the place and took a seat. Within seconds, he was up and about again, clearly showing just how on edge he was at that time.
Just then, a knock sounded, and Adam, his assistant, walked in with a file tucked under his armpit and a small suitcase in his hand.
"Here is the information you requested,"
"What took you so long?!"
Both said simultaneously, just as Ky walked up and ripped the file from Adam. He quickly opened it, ignoring Adan and walked back to his seat.
This was the result of the investigation of how Thalia Mirabel had gotten out of the Silent Heights Penitentiary.
