Meanwhile, Aiden made his way to the 3RM, slamming the door to the dorm behind him. The faint echoes of his footsteps quickly faded, leaving the room in a thick silence. He let out a breath he didn't know he had been holding and collapsed onto the couch, staring down at the small, tightly wrapped package still clutched in his hand.
It felt heavier than it should, like it carried the weight of everything wrong in his life. His pulse quickened as his fingers worked at the wrapping, tearing it away until the contents were revealed, a simple flash drive.
For a long moment, Aiden just sat there, staring at it as though it might suddenly explain itself.
