Chp 31 : A Bear With White Fur

[Siun : Oh shit is he really going to beat up a 3 year old?!]

When Siun heard what Tex said he quickly ducked, hoping to dodge the punch he thought was coming... but Jean didn't punch him at all, instead Siun got hit with another massive headache and dizziness.

"Siun?! Are you okay?! Jean do something!"

"I-im sorry Mrs. Elena but I can't cure a mysterious illness! But let me take a look at him! Maybe I can do something to temporarily get rid of the symptoms!"

Jean said as he walked closer to Siun, who was sweating in Elena's arms.

He reached his hand out to Siun's head to check if he had a fever first but then

Siun threw up on Jean

[Siun : Ahhhh... Now I've done it]

Were his last words before he fainted and went back to sleep once again

"Urghh this stinks..." Yael mumbled to herself, right now she was deep in the woods following the trail of dead deer demon corpses.

She took a look at one of the corpses and saw bite marks on it's body.

"What the... teeth marks?"

Yael investigated the body and saw that the deer's bones were crushed by the bites.

"A bear demon?... Why would it need to kill so many deer demons? Was it very hungry?"

Before she could investigate further Yael heard a rustling noise from the bushes, she quickly went to where the sound was coming from.

"... What is this... fur?"

Yael was confused, the only other demons around here able to kill this many deer demons are bear demons... but this fur was not brown or black, it was a creamy white color.

"Polar bear?... Hahaha nonsense! The polar bears never leave from Khawlok..."

She told herself, but decided to keep on looking for more clues. She saw more deer demon bodies deeper into the forest so she decided to do deeper

"Footprints!... This don't belong to any bear I know of... it's a dog?"

Yael was confused, she never knew a dog demon could kill thousands of deer demons. Unless there were multiple.

"Shit... It would manageable if there was only 1 bear... but multiple dog demons capable of killing thousands of deer demons... We should leave immediately!"

She tried to run back to the wagon to tell Jean to leave immediately but she was trapped by an invisible glass box.

"What the fuck?! Who's there?! You dont have to hide anymore, I'm not an idiot! I know you can talk to me! Humanoid demon!"

Yael knew right away that this demon was more human than the rest, because only humanoids can perform such high level of dark magic

"Hnnn, you are quite and intelligent peasant aren't you?"

The voice spoke out, and it slowly walked out of the shadows accompanied by multiple Kangal dogs. The voice came from man who was even taller than Karter who was 6'4! Though he was very slim and seemed to have no muscles whatsoever, the man had blonde hair that was long enough to reach his knees that he tied into a ponytail. If he didn't have those long black horns and his blinding red eyes he could be mistaken for a prince.

As the man walked closer to Yael the glass box surrounding her started close in on her.

"You! Why are you here?! This territory was not supposed to have any humanoids!"

"HAHAHA! That's why I'm taking over it! Also isn't this the perfect time to do this?! Due to the saints coming to Xinthri in a couple of days, these roads have been crowded with people like you who fall into my trap so I can eat them and absorb their power!"

"HOW COULD YOU?!"

"How hilarious! Are you seriously asking ME, a demon why I am doing this? Aren't you people taught that we are disgusting and vile creatures that kill for pleasure!"

Yael didn't know what to say, all she could do was bang on the glass box trying to break out, as the walls came closer and closer Elena heated up her brass knuckles and used all her body weight to punch through the glass box.

She then immediately proceeded to run straight towards the blonde demon but she was attacked by the kangals protecting him.

To Yael's surprise, she was completely overpowered by the Kangal demons. They bit all her limbs to stay in place keeping her kneeling in position unable to move

"Huhuhu... how interesting, you dont seem to be an ordinary peasant judging by your powers"

"Argh! What are you going to do to me?!"

The demon slowly approached Yael and covered her eyes with his palm.

"The great Damion is going to bless you with wonderful memories... now go to sleep, and have a sweet dream~..."
