Thirty One : Sunmi’s Reaction

"The number you are calling did not answer. Please call in later", I hung up my phone and exhaled
I have tried contacting Sunmi for the tenth time. She's still angry with me because of what happened that night in Minerva. Yesterday, I sent her a message to ask her how she was and asked her to meet, but she only replied to my message with one sentence.
"I'm busy right now, sorry", wrote Sunmi
I haven't told Sunmi about my relationship with Namjoon. I want to meet her and say it directly in front of her. Frankly, I still don't believe that we are dating now. I thought that it was just a dream when I woke up the next day.

There is an incoming message.
"Jagiya~ (baby/darling) what are you doing? I just got to the office. Today there will be a meeting about our year-end activities. I miss you. I hope we can meet again soon. Have a nice day ", wrote Namjoon
I blushed reading the message from him. I'm still not used to 'Jagiya', haha I never imagined I would hear those words from Namjoon.
"I'm in Minerva, oppa. Today I'm planning to meet Sunmi at her shop. Looks like she's still angry with me. Take care of your health, oppa ... I miss you too. Fighting !!", I replied with a smile looking at my cellphone screen
"Noona, looks like you're happy today", I looked up when I heard Yunsu's voice near me
"Ne. I'm excited Yunsu~aah. You have to be enthusiastic too," I replied looking at him
"Ye, sure", Yunsu replied as he cleared the table next to me
It's past lunch time. Groups of visitors have come to Minerva. Right now I'm in my favorite reading area by the window.
"I'm going out Yunsu~ah, I want to visit Sunmi at her shop. Is Aeri ssi at the reception desk?", I asked him.
"Ne", he replied
I walked towards the receptionist and found Aeri working on something on the computer.
"Aeri ssi..I will go to Sunnie. At 3 pm there will be air conditioning service officers coming. I asked them to check the air conditioning unit on the 2nd floor. Can you accompany them while I'm not here ?", I asked Aeri
"Ye, Oenni", she replied smiling at me
I walked towards the parking lot where my car is located.
"Omo! I had a flat tire!", I said when I saw my front tires. "Ottoke ?? ...", I said confused
"Looks like I have to take a bus", I said to myself I sighed and walked slowly towards the bus stop located
Sunmi's shop is located in Myeongdong, the central shopping area of Seoul. The distance from Yongsan-dong to Myeong-dong is actually not far, it only takes less than 10 minutes to drive. Even if you use the subway it only takes 4 minutes.
I was on the bus that took me to Myeondong. During the trip, I tried to contact Sunmi again, but she still didn't answer it. I turned my eyes to the bus window observing the atmosphere outside. It is already autumn. The green leaves had turned a pretty red and yellow color.
When I arrived at Myeongdong, I hurried off the bus and immediately felt the cool breeze of the autumn wind hit my face. As usual, this area is always full of visitors, both local and foreign. This is because Myeongdong is a famous shopping area in Seoul that offers cheap prices. There are hundreds of shops in this area. You can find anything here, from cosmetics, skincare, clothes, shoes to food.
I walked through the rows of shops filled with visitors. I saw a purple shop with 'Sunnie' signboards in front of me. When I entered this shop, I was immediately greeted by an employee.
"Annyeong Agasshi (hello miss) ... can I help you? Uh? Kim Sora Oenni?", Said a woman in light purple uniform.
"Annyeong, Kang Yeri ssi .... I want to meet Cha Sunmi, is she here?, I asked her
"Ye. Let me take you to her office", Yeri replied excitedly
She escorted me to the 3rd floor where Sunmi's office is located.
"Annyeong oenni, Kim Sora Oenni came to see you," said the female employee when she opened the door
"Annyeong Sunmi~ aah ..", I said smiling from behind the door
"Sora? Why did you come here?", Asked Sunmi in surprise behind her desk
I thanked Yeri when she left us.
"You didn't reply my messages and ignore my calls ... are you still angry with me Sunmi?", I asked showing a sad face.
"Ye! Of course I'm still angry with you", replied Sunmi with an annoyed face
"Mianhaeyo ... I know you are upset because of it. I just want to entertain visitors", I said approaching her
"I knew it, it's just...you didn't have to sing along with Minwoo, did you? You can sing alone or be accompanied by other people", said Sunmi
"But Sunmi ... Minwoo looked so different, you can see the changes, right? He is very kind and polite now ... I ... I ... I believe in him", I replied looking into her eyes
"What? Are you crazy? If there is someone who doesn't deserve to be trusted in this world, then he is the one and only, Park Minwoo!", Replied Sunmi standing in front of me
"Sunmi~ah... I know what he has done to me was so wrong. He realized it and has apologized sincerely to me. Actually, a few days ago we met accidentally at a mini market. He told me how he was in Japan", I said trying to explain to Sunmi
"You met him? Alone?? omooo ... how terrible! ", said Sunmi in disbelief
"Ani. He didn't do anything, we just chatted. He told me that in his early days in Japan he was depressed and had to see a psychiatrist. He underwent treatment there until his condition stabilized", I explained as I asked her to sit on a couch
"Jinjja ?? depression ?? I had thought about it too, Sora. All the actions he did to you, from stalking, breaking in, destroying your things, his dirty messages and his attempted suicide, showed that he was unstable", said Sunmi while counting on her fingers everything Minwoo had ever done
"Are you sure he's fine now? I doubt it, Sora. People like that sometimes have a tendency to repeat their actions," continued Sunmi worriedly.
"Calm down Sunmi, I know you're worried. I've forgiven him, but that doesn't mean I let my guard down when dealing with him. I just want to give him a chance. You remember we were good friends, right?", I said trying to calm Sunmi down
"Ye ... I'm just worried about you Sora", she sighed. "Anyway, then how did RM respond? I apologize for telling this to him without your consent", said Sunmi with a guilty face
"Well, talking about Namjoon ssi, I actually have something to tell you, Sunmi", I said smiling at her.
"Huh? What? he didn't want to be friends with you anymore or what? Huh? Wae (why)?? Why are you smiling like that?", Asked Sunmi, confused seeing the smile on my face
"Well, Namjoon and I ... uh ... we, actually we ... now we're dating", I replied shyly with a smile
"What?! WHAT? !!! JINJJA ?? YAA~ KIM SORA! JINJJA ???", shouted Sunmi as she stood up and widened her eyes at me
"Sunmi ~ aah .. please calm down", I said trying to pull her hand so she sat back next to me
"YAA~ KIM SORA SSI !! ARE YOU SERIOUS?? IS THAT TRUE ?? Jinjjaa ???? Kyaaaaaa !!!!", she shouted with joy
Sunmi pulled me up and hugged me while jumping up and down. I can not hide my smile at her.
"Sora ~ aah chukae..I'm so happy for you!! Omoo! My best friend is dating a world class artist! Omooo !! Daebak yaa !!", she said again
"Arasso, arasso!! come on sit down, sit down. Tell me the details! Did he confess his feelings to you?? Or did you say it first??? Did you kissed? Aigooooo ... I got goosebumps imagining it ", Sunmi continued cheerfully as she pulled me to the couch
"I'll tell you, but promise me you will keep this secret, ok? Namjoon doesn't want anyone to know it", I continued
"Ye, Arasso !!", she replied excitedly
Then I told Sunmi about it. She kept screaming and tapping her feet with enthusiasm. Earlier, I asked Namjoon if I could tell Sunmi about our relationship, and he had no problem about it.
It took me few hours to finished my story. Sunmi keep interrupting me with squealed, laughed and clapped her hands. Until we didn't realize that it was dark outside. Sunmi decided to take me home and have dinner at my apartment. Sunmi was so happy hearing my relationship with Namjoon, that she forgot that she was angry with me before.
