70. Training Match(2)

Ross was going straight towards Rem in a great speed. And he as soon was near her, swung his sword with his full strength.

But what he didn't knew was that Rem predicted a his moves. Rem just bowed a bit and dodged it by a hair and kicked him.

'So heavy.'

He flew like a ball. But he blocked her kick, with his sword at the moment of impact. While he was airborne, he quickly used his sword to stab the ground to make himself stop from flying away.

He swiped the blood coming out from mouth and stood up once again to face her.

'I should have noticed at the beginning. Such a small girl yet she is using a big weapon which I may not be able to use it. She must have a very high strength to use the spike so freely.'

Oni is a species solely made for fight. Their strength and magic is very good. And that's why that is also their hierarchy. Both sisters have been living in their village where strength always matter.

Though Rem was not a prodigy, compared to Ram, she was also not a weak fighter. After the disaster, in order to repent she practiced more than anybody can imagine.

As Ross stood up he then noticed that Rem swung her hand.

'I forgot that she still has her weapon!'

The spike ball came to him and striked him. He quickly responded by using his sword to block him but this time the attack was a big too strong.

And he threw out blood as he crashed into ground.

*Cough!* *Cough!*

Before he could say anything, he somehow started to lose his consciousness but he could feel his heartbeat getting stronger per second.

'What is happening to me?'

His big mana pool bursted out and suddenly in the ground a huge mana pressure came out from him.

"This... Dragon mana came out!"

Alex didn't expect this outcome from him. He could see that Ross is unconscious but still his body is moving.

"Must because of mana's will."

Ross was standing with a full bloody body. His body couldn't bear the power of dragon mana and already started to tear it to escape.

"He can't bear it anymore! More than that will definitely will result into permanent injuries."

Ross who was unconscious obviously didn't knew his condition. He raised his sword up high and all his mana went up to the sword.

The sword somehow started shining in bright red and it was radiating a huge amount of power from it.

"Dragon... Slash!"

And he swung it towards Rem in front of him. The mana came out like a cannon in a great force tearing and uprooting everything in its path!

Rem also knew that if she took it directly, it be bad for her. She quickly raised her hand and casted her most powerful defensive spell.

A shining water barrier formed all around her to protect herself. And then the flying strike confronted with th barrier.

*Boom!*

Because of the clash of fire and water made the the ground full hazy and unable to judge what happened now.

But Alex could see the result. Rem was struggling to stand while Ross was no way in continuing battle. His body was full bloody and couldn't handle to withdraw one more strike of dragon mana.

But still because of instinct, Ross raised his sword to attack.

"Damn! He is still not in his senses."

Alex quickly teleported and punched Ross and suppressed the dragon will inside him.

Ross finally fainted and was lying in ground. On the other side, Rem was injured because the attack was tok great for her barrier, but still she was alright.

"Ram! Come quickly and take both of them into medical room!"

"Yes!"

"Where am I?"

Ross opened his eyes and found himself wrapped in white bandages just like a mummy.

"Argh! It hurts so much. What I was doing?"

Ross massaged his head for a bit trying to remember how could he be so injured.

"Oh! I was here in Duke's house for training. And then I was fighting a maid and then... Why can't I remember..."

"Because your body was taken by the dragon will."

Ross turned his head and saw Alex coming inside to check on him.

"Dragon will...?"

"Yeah. Your body couldn't bear it and it was tearing up your body. If I wasn't there it might be a disaster."

"Thanks for saving me."

"Don't mind. But it is in a way a very good thing."

"A good thing? Why?"

"After experiencing once, it will be easier to use one again. And I also finally know your dragon mana's element."

"So... What is my element?"

"Your element is fire. The most common element."

Ross who heard it instead of being sad, was very happy. Being ostracized all the time because of having no element, he now has one.

Alex was also surprised to see him happy. He thought Ross would be unhappy having the most common element.

"Don't worry about your element. To tell you truth, your element is very perfect to suit your swordsmanship."

"Really?"

"Yeah. As soon you recover, I will teach you the fire breathing. The step up of just normal breathing."
