(This story is a copy of my fanfiction. I just turned this into an original one. The game characters that he will get are all made up, and are nonexistent on our media. They mostly referenced some other games, but they are not characters from a known game in our world. So don't bother to search for them. Any organization or person here are purely fictional. Any resemblance are coincidental or unintentional.)

I Hate Scums

"Grunt, Brent, rough her up!"

The two guys besides him nodded at his words. They take a step forward before taking a stance.

"You sure are brave, huh. Let's see how tough you are with my flame werewolves!" Grunt said as he raises his hand.

A magic circle appears on the ground before many red furred wolves standing on their two feet appears. They are glaring dangerously at her, their eyes looks feral.

"I'll tear you to shreds!" Brent said as he brandishes his sharp claws, his beastly eyes directed at the witch.

She just sent an amused smirk on their way, making them think that she is just mocking them. With a snarl, Brent rushes forward while Grunt orders his flame werewolves to attack her.

"Hmph! It's already over!" Gustav muttered on the side as he saw the many beast going to chew on her.

The witch just spreads her arms and let Brent take a hit on her body. His long sharp claws easily pierces through her flesh, making a large gash on her upper body up to her torso.

He is going to follow up with another scratch when a hand suddenly appeared on his vision. His face has been grab by her.

"I would like to play more, but I'm currently protecting this child behind me so I can't afford to be lax."

She throws Brent to the group of werewolves rushing at her. The red furred monsters easily dodges his thrown body before quickly getting close to her. They brandishes their claws and fangs, preparing to either bite or pierce her body.

She just smirk as she raised one of her hand, before she flicks it.

All the wolves suddenly froze on their steps, the only thing they can move are their eyeballs and their breathing. The witch moves her hand down in a calm manner, and in response to that the wolves also fall to the ground unconscious.

Just after she is done doing that is when Brent fell to the floor and slid at it for a few meters, stopping besides Grunt who is looking at the scene with his eyes in denial.

Even Gustav is surprised seeing how quick she dispatches all of those wolves.

"Impossible! I don't believe this!" Grunt yelled in denial.

Merzalfit smirks at the way he denies the fact in front of his eyes. She felt amused at his reaction.

Brent slowly stood up and glares at the witch. He roared as he rushes at her again, his claws having some red streaks of fire.

He manages to get a hit on her body once more, though she countered by holding his head again and throwing him like what she did to him awhile ago.

Brent stood up once more, feeling his pride hurt along with his face.

"What are you doing Grunt!? Help me!"

"I can't! All my tamed beast have been defeated!"

Brent clicked his tongue. "Useless!" He snarled once more as he tries to attack the witch.

Merzalfit sighs, seeing that he is going to repeat attacking her without seeing how outmatched he is.

"This is getting boring. Sleep!"

In her declaration, Brent suddenly felt his eyelids becoming heavy. His body became sluggish and it felt too hard to move his body. Even when he tries to struggle, his body refuses to obey as he slowly fell to the ground.

"What.... is happening..."

He fell to the ground unconsciously, unknowing of what happened.

"Magic!? But I don't feel any activation of magic!" Gustav exclaimed on the side, shocked at the scene in front of him.

On the back, Elio felt threatened at her strength.

'She's dangerous!' She thought.

"So...." Merzalfit started. "It seems like they're done. What about you?" She glances at the leader.

Gustav chuckled, having gotten over his shock. He steps forward, pushing away Grunt who is stupidly just standing there with his eyes still in denial.

"I admit you are capable, but I think you are overestimating yourself!"

"Behold, my true power!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!"

Gustav stomps on the floor and roars, charging up something. His muscles bulges and expands and his body is slowly changing. His body is slowly being covered by a lustrous magenta colored fur, his visage turning more beastly.

Then flames surrounds him, feeling like the fire itself it protecting his body. Many wisps of flames are orbiting his body, making him look like the avatar of fire itself.

"I'll make sure you regret messing with my guild!"

He declared in a voice that seems to echo everywhere as he pounces. When he moves, he suddenly vanishes from the place.

"What!?" Elio exclaimed in surprise. Even her can't keep up with his speed.

The strength to change into a werewolf gave him a boost in his strength, then the Great Fire Spirit within him further boosts his capabilities, making him a terrifying beast.

He easily goes beyond the speed of sound, causing the sound of something crashing as he immediately got besides the witch.

Seeing that the witch is not even reacting, he thought she can't keep up with him.

"You are done!" He grabs her neck and slams her to the wall.

In a split second, she is already a flattened flesh on the broken wall, blood splattering everywhere. He roared to the sky, signifying his triumph against the fool who dares to attack his domain.

"Is that all?"

But in a surprising reversal, he looks in shock at the woman who is supposed to be squashed by his claws. Her smirk is still in there even when she looks so pitiful with all the blood and wounds on her body.

"You!"

In anger, he once again grabs her, the time from her torso, and throws her hard on the ground. The strength of his throw goes beyond the speed of sound, and as she landed on the ground, the floors cracks and then turns into a large crater, and a sound akin to explosion occurs as smoke spreads out everywhere due to the force of her thrown body.

Trying to be sure about it, he raises his hand to the sky and a ball of concentrated flame appears above him. It became bigger as he stayed on that position, charging up his last attack on his enemy.

"Burn! Charge Burst!"

He throws the ball of intense flame at her and as it made a contact to the ground, it exploded, causing a pillar of flame that goes to the sky.

'With this, I am sure she is dead!' He thought, sure of his victory.

He wanted to roar to the sky once again, to declare that he have won against his enemy.

Though before he can do that, he has been interrupted by the sound of someone clapping. Looking below, he looks at the smoke slowly dissipating, shocking him on the one standing there.

"Your still alive!?"

Merzalfit is standing in the middle of the crater, clapping while looking at him in amusement.

"Splendid, I felt that for a bit!~" She praised while looking at him with a smirk.

"Impossible! That flame can burn even the toughest monster! How are you still standing!?"

"Oya? Are you surprised?" She giggles. "Well, this much is expected. I am an Immortal witch after all."

"Impossible! No one have achieved immortality since the ancient times! There is no way I would believe that!"

"Deny it all you want, the fact is I am still alive!"

He growled, making his dismay evident at this new fact. He didn't want to believe this, but he is being force to face the facts.

'There must be something in her? Anything!'

'Wait, why is she not dodging my attacks? No, more like she can't do that! She can't perceive my attacks!'

"I see." He grinned, having a realization within himself. He seems to have a misconception that he became convinced somehow.

"Hm?"

"Hahahahaha, that's it! You are just a weakling who can only regenerate!" He grinned with his sharp fangs. "If it was like that, then I don't have to kill you. I only need to incapacitate you enough and torture you!"

"You look beautiful enough, so I think by having you in my bed, I'll acquire more power! That's it! That's definitely it!"

He roared in laughter once more, convinced about his own hypothesis. He refused to believe that she is truly immortal and is just some weakling who is somewhat durable.

If he made a connection to her, he might inherit some of her ability to him. This means he will become more stronger than ever.

His eyes stares at her with a predatory gaze, his mind clouded by his delusions. He didn't notice the witch looking at him coldly as he proclaimed his plan against her.

"Are you telling me that, not only murder, but you also partake on something as vulgar as that?"

"What? Are you scared? Don't worry, I'll use you until you can't even stand for a whole month! Hahahahaha!"

Hearing his vulgar implications, her smirk slowly turns into thin line. Her eyes looking at him coldly. She is clearly not amused at what she just heard.

Behind the screen, William is watching from the sky and have just heard Gustav's proclamation. He sighs and looks at the leader in pity, shaking his head at the scene.

"You just have to say that..."

Merzalfit is a chaotic person who loves to troll someone. She is also a person who doesn't care even if someone dies.

But she have moments when she became angry. These are times when she saw women being sexually abused by the others, or when children are being abused to the point of depression.

With her twisted sense of principles, she rampages and destroys everything in her vicinity, with the one she saves being the audience. It is, in her own words, her punishment against humanity.

And now she just heard someone planning to rape her. It might be impossible, but just the intent alone is enough to trigger her.

"Huh... it seems like your existence itself is a mistake."

"Huh?"

He didn't understand what she is talking about. The only thing he saw after he says that is her face suddenly being in front of him.

"Wha-!?"

He tries to move out of the way, but notices that he can't move his body anymore. Even with his transformation, his body can barely struggle from the mysterious hold in his body.

"You know...." Her cold stare got closer to his. "I hate scums!"

A huge amount of malicious intent has been released by her body, covering the whole mansion by her intense aura. Everyone on the vicinity screamed at the hallucinatory images of screaming faceless humanoids and unseen ghostly wails.

As he was forced to look at her cold dark stare, he felt like he is falling to the abyss. His mind is becoming more incoherent as he goes deeper from this deep void.

"What is this what is this what is this what is this WHAT IS THIS!?!?!?!?"

Only Elio can witness this scene without being affected by the disturbing images being bombarded by this whole mansion. It seems like Merzalfit have enough sense to exclude her from her terrifying aura.

"Wait, stop it! Don't kill him!"

She declares as she glared at the witch staring straight on the eyes of the wolf leader, holding his head in place so he can't even turn his gaze around.

Seeing that she is being ignored, she growled before creating a blade of water.

"I told you to stop it!" She shoots a blade of water to the witch, slicing her torso.

"Hm?" Merzalfit was snapped out of her grudges, her attention turning to the little hero. "What are you doing?" She asked in curiosity.

"I am saving him from you!" She said as she forms more water droplets on her surroundings.

"But he is a sinner."

"He is a human. You are the evil one here!"

Her belief to the Word of Light is absolute, so she is obligated to save the man even if he is a piece of shit. It doesn't matter what her intentions are, the man must be saved from her dark grasps.

"Stop this at once, or I will be forced to fight you!"

The witch giggles. "Even when I am the one who saved you?"

"Yes!"

Merzalfit stares at the resolute eyes of the blonde girl. She can see how determined she is on saving the guy.

"Are you really sure about this? He is a scum of this world! He might be even planning to use you for his own entertainment!"

"That doesn't matter! The Word of Light have dictated that humanity can sin! Heroes just have to save them!"

Merzalfit widened her eyes for a bit before she shakes her head in pity.

"How naive. What kind of useless principle is that? Are you trying to become a martyr?"

The girl didn't reply and is just glaring at her. Merzalfit sighs.

"Fine. I won't kill him."

The intense dark aura on the surroundings slowly dissipates, the scream of everyone in this mission calms down.

Then she let go of her hold on the leader, letting him fall on the sky lifelessly.

"What!?"

Elio quickly created a water done to act as a cushion to the falling person who is slowly turning into a human once more. His face is a rictus of fear and despair.

As he fell to the dome of water in safety, she glares at the witch who is slowly landing to the ground.

"You!"

The witch just raised her hands.

"Don't worry, I didn't kill him." Her smile returns once more. "But you didn't say anything about breaking him."

Elio is going to retort but was stopped by the witch suddenly appearing in front of her, her smile becoming a bit too eerie that she is feeling threatened.

"Look little hero. I will respect your wishes as I take a bit of a liking to you. That doesn't mean you can dictate what I can do."

"Just like how you have your own beliefs, I also stand by my own. You have no right to tell me what is right and wrong here."

After saying that, she turns her back and walks out of this mansion, not even waiting for her as she just goes straight to the streets.

She is speechless. Not knowing how to counter her words.

This is another world. It works on a different sets of logic. If she believes in the Words of Light and the Heromaker, then the others can also stand on their own beliefs. She is not the only one who can do that.

'But.... the Words of Light are the absolute truth.... I am not wrong!'

She looks at the unconscious guy and felt a bit conflicted.

This guy has been hostile to her since the start. But he is not possessed by any evil forces, so he is only doing it out of some sort of desire. A desire that is bad, but the Word of Light allowed for humanity.

Even if he is planning to kill her, she have no right to condemn him. Only the Heromaker and the One True God have the right to tell whether someone is evil or not.

She can state her dissatisfaction, but she can't enact her own justice. Justice is already defined on her mind, so personal grudge is nothing but a misplaced thought.

She felt dissatisfied at this, but she decided to stop thinking about this for now and leave this place. She can't afford to be captured once more.

As they leave the manor, they didn't know that this will cause an uproar. A no name guild defeating one of overlords of this city.

They came back to the guild with conflicting feelings, unaware of the ripple that they just caused.
