Chapter 79: Calamity Strikes All Equally! Pt.3
~Third POV~
Standing at the distance apart from each other Gozuki was not amused by the fact that three of his kids all had their Shingu stolen and by a wanted criminal no less. But once he saw the person in question, he can see why they lost.
He smelled the scent of blood on him and it was a lot for him.
Narrowing his eyes at the Walking Calamity he began to try some small talk as he brought out his weapon Teigu [Murasame] in a cheerful manner, "Sigh… so then Walking Calamity any reason you decided to bully my kids today?"
Tatsumi on the other hand was taking Gozuki seriously with him as he carried that Teigu he needs for his goal to work but doesn't want to risk his life to jump for the chance yet knowing full well what he's capable of.
[Murasame] is a cursed blade that could kill a person with a single cut. Once the sword pierces the skin, a poisonous curse spread through the victim's body, killing them within seconds by stopping their heart. The curse appeared as black markings that originated from the wound and spread across the victim's skin. These markings vanished once the person had died.
A flaw of the blade being if there are two souls in one body, only one soul can be killed at a time.
Murasame's trump card was a performance enhancer titled [Little War Horn] that strengthened its user with the power of its poisonous curse. When the trump card was activated, the user's scleras turned black with black markings appearing around their pupils and a dark aura enveloped their body.
Red markings also appeared all over the user's body and remain as scars once its effect ended. These scars continuously cause the user to feel pain all over their body, even after Murasame is destroyed.
Then Tatsumi's eyes wander towards Akame as she hatefully glares at him while also being wary of her Shingu [Kiriichimonji] at the same time as it has the ability that wounds inflicted using [Kiriichimonji] will never heal.
Tatsumi taking Gozuki seriously replies to his question as he tries to use any remaining stamina, he has for this and escapes from the situation, "Simple. They posse Shingu's that are quite useful for me for different reasons. If they happen to lose it in a fight, then it's their fault for being weak."
At this Gozuki casually glares at this as he opens back of how proud his kids are in this situation as he talks back not being amused by Tatsumi reply, "Weak huh? Well, I'll have you know that my kids are strong as well as righteous to be on the Empire side. Unlike you criminal but you have something that belongs to us."
Tatsumi merely scoffs at this as he waits for the moment to strike back as he calms his breathing down thinking of ways around this situation as he thought to himself, 'Think Tatsumi think! I'm basically up against people who are more or less your level and Gozuki is someone whose above them. If he can match with Najasho then it's likely he'll react when I use [Bullet Time]. [Eyes of the Lord] will help but taking Green, Akame, and Teigu is going to be a challenge in itself as my body is already strained as it is…'
*SWOOSH*
It was that moment Akame started to attack rushing forward to Tatsumi with fury in her eyes but concentrated on trying to kill the Walking Calamity as she yells at him, "Walking Calamity! You will pay for murdering my sister! I WON'T REST TILL YOU ARE DEAD!!!"
*Clang*
However, Akame attack using her [Kiriichimonji] by a darkly color armor shown on his arm as Tatsumi managed to defend himself from the sudden attack as he spoke to her, "You think I would murder your sister Kurome –"
Unaware Tatsumi just managed to trigger Akame as she began to furiously but as well as calmly began swiping her sword at him as she spoke in a cold voice, "You don't have a right to say her name murder!"
*Swoosh*
Quickly avoiding another slash strike from Akame Tatsumi already sighed in defeat in his head knowing this would happen as he thinks what to do next, 'Sigh… I figured this would happen. No matter what I do she will attack alright. So how do I misinform my enemies as well as mess with them? Well… let see those years of the class acting in my past life does well here fooling them all. As my teacher once said time to show the power of bullshit with some truth. Time to go crazy Madara Uchiha this shit.'
Tatsumi clicked his tongue as he began to berate Akame and the philosophy of her justice as he began to speak the truth, "Yeah sure while your sister and the rest of you guys get to live as murders serving a corrupt Empire. If you are that blind, then don't talk to me about being a murder when your one yourself. Talk about being fucking hypocritical!"
*Bam*
With one powered kick fueled by the [Hasshoken] aimed at Akame's stomach but she blocked it using the backside of her katana as she twirled around and landed keeping her eyes on Tatsumi as Gozuki narrows his eyes on him giving some dangerous words.
Akame glares hatefully at Tatsumi as she justifies her actions and her family for their reasons to take a life in a heat of passion, "What we do is to help and benefit for the people of the Empire and make sure people like you are gone from this world! We take the arms to ensure peace if possible, in the Empire to bring justice – "
*BOOM*
At that Tatsumi just laughs at that making Akame stop her speech as he continues to laugh at that as he responds the truth to her about such concepts while releasing his [Conqueror Haki] at the members of Elite Seven as that made Gozuki narrow his eyes from the pressure.
The rest of the members began to sweat heavily from the pressure of the [Conqueror Haki] as Tatsumi laughed as if he found Akame's words purely funny to him.
"Hahahaha!"
As he laughed, till he went silent before returning his normal attitude making Akame unsettled with the sudden change as he spoke devoid of emotion, "Justice…? Justice you say? Justice in this unfair country of corruption? In this saturated Empire where nobility titles and corrupt misuse of power is justice? The same justice that breeds the poor into banditry for survival and creates rebel enemies in the Empire's wake…?"
The more he said his words the more the pressure it seems to suddenly increase as his emotions are released along with his willpower, "You and your 'family' are directly responsible for breeding such things into reality only for this sad excuse of an Empire to fucking screw itself over miserably. The idea of wanting peace through killing is a fantasy to you. You see the thing with justice and evil are merely concepts people delude themselves into thinking they can justify what they want and are relieved that they are fighting for a better tomorrow…"
Akame merely shakes her head at this instantly disagreeing with his words of all the things Gozuki has taught her and reminding her that the man in front of her killed Kurome as she went on to attack, "No your wrong! Everything we do in the Empire has the meaning we do this to keep the people safe and secured! You rebel and criminals are what makes us do this!! You talk about a better future and justice but what was the excuse for killing my sister!!!"
*Clang*
Another cash between the two has begun as Tatsumi guards using his [Armament Haki] as his conquerors were still active making Akame stumble keeping her ground but Tatsumi continued to talk despite her attacking him.
*Swoosh*
Taking another turn to move away from a cut attack from her he began to talk about how they are different in the same tone devoid of emotion but logic, "Allow me to educate you on reality Akame. The difference between us is crystal clear you will do things that you protect but your Empire was the one to attack first. I don't care what they do but the second they placed their weapons on me from then onward they became my enemy. Your sister was part of them but then again why would you care after all you and your so-called family just butchered up the mercenaries here who could also have family or sisters like you? Now how does that make what you're doing any different from what they're doing huh? Simply living?"
*Clang*

Akame just kept on repeating attacking Tatsumi as he blocks her strikes all aimed at vitals as the wave of [Conqueror Haki] has ended as she tried to convince herself what Tatsumi said was lies but in her inner part of her mind betrayed her thoughts, '… but what if it's true… what… if this… is karma… for my sins…'
Shaking her head from the words that entered her head poisoning her mind she tried to make sense of what she did and was trained to do was right as she tried to fight his words, "No! No! No!! What we do for the Empire is just we make everyone happy lives if we take a life for the better for the people!"
At that Gozuki narrowed his eyes as he realized what the Walking Calamity was doing as he clicked his tongue in clear dissatisfaction of the aftermath, 'Tch. This bastard is forcing to break her mind along with the brainwashing in the process! He said all of those words to rile Akame up and this will make her question the Empire so much that she might defect from it once she knows his words are right… you fucking bastard…'
*BAM*
Landing one solid punch to Akame stomach he sent her flying to the group as he began to say his piece of advice to her in a serious tone catching Gozuki attention as he got her but also the words coming from Tatsumi, "No matter the corruption, justice, evil, greed, scheming, freedom, choice, goodwill… all of those relates to the future but… when someone of overwhelming power threatens you, then your is future set on stone. The true power is the ones that can shape the future…"
No longer had the feeling of backing down or holding back the elements of wind, lightning, ice, and fire generated around him as he spoke confidently to them, "… it just happens those people your Empire have decided to mess with the wrong guy. Blame them for being too weak to stop the calamity waiting for them."
*Shee*
That was when Gozuki started to get serious as he took out [Murasame] as he motion to the kids to take care of Akame as he spoke quite angrily at him, "Listen to me brats… make sure to keep Akame condition at the ready father needs to nip this calamity in the bud before it becomes an even larger threat to the Empire."
At this Tatsumi goes over to the river as he tapped it with one hand as ice he generated started to make it solid for them as he spoke to Gozuki, "Oh… so Gozuki the Killer finally comes out to play huh? Here let's make this fairer for you…"
*Shee*
Suddenly the river that was supporting the boats began to freeze from the sheer cold temperature generated from Tatsumi ice as Gozuki scoffs at this as he spoke, "Tch. I already have to deal with one annoying ice user in my life. Now I deal with another I wonder if God dislikes me that I have to experience two Esdeaths around."
Gozuki gets ready to attack as Tatsumi begins to fight back against their leader as the rest of the Elite Seven are on standby to see if they can help their father, "Alright the Gozuki the Killer… let's hope you make this kill count."
Gozuki snickers at this as he narrows his eyes fully showing his coldness at him as he talked to himself devoid of emotions, "Talk big all you want brat. But you haven't even faced or seen as much danger as I have against Super Class monsters. Using elements? Not something new to me…"
*Slam*
With one slam on his foot, a large ice pillar soon erupted and directed it all to Gozuki in the process…

A/N: Part 3 is here and the last one is going to end next. Also thanks for suggesting he fails at some things I was originally planning that he fails to get [Murasame] but I think I'll go with something else instead to make the MC learn.
A/N Extra: Also the encounter with Akame with the MC acting off here I want to know if it was good or I could do better here?
