42 Chapter 42: The Top 10 Ranking Heroes

~Third POV~

Entering inside the broken-down building they all rushed towards the top of the building as the four of them saw a decently large enough room as Saeko opens the door to see the inside of their new living place.

When they entered the room, they began to search the room inside the apartment room as the interiors look to be a normal apartment with a table and chairs in the dining area and a cabinet where plates, cups, and bowls are stored.

There was a bathroom, kitchen, two empty rooms filled with beds, and even a small open outer more space of the room.

Seeing the situation Saeko began to open up the laptop and set up the landlord's router he has given them thanks using Hinata Genjutsu and made him get himself a new one while paying for the old one for a while.

Using the landlord's wifi and log-in password the group chat now had access to the internet as Saeko smiles at this as she began to talk to everyone, "Now then Hinata and Tatsumi we now have access to the internet. Humankind greatest and horrible thing to ever be created."

Tatsumi was acting confused along with a genuinely confused Hinata about what the internet is. As for Ruby she nodded in understanding of what it was, it was similar to her world version of the internet with the CCT Towers.

With that Saeko first began to search up the top 10 heroes in Japan as the others nodded to know their four targets since All Might was taken care of as Saeko began to search for the heroes in question.

The number 1 Pro Hero was All Might as it shows on the online world hero rankings in Japan as they skipped past it to the next one on the list.

The number 2 Pro Hero Endeavor was also someone related to the name Todoroki as Tatsumi only expressed a disgusted look gathering the member's attention.

Seeing their expression Tatsumi began to explain the situation of the fire guy in the calmest way possible to them, "Ok that guy has to be the next target. From what I read his a family abuser. Shoto was born was where Endeavor started to begin mistreating his family. His abuse towards his wife caused her to have a mental breakdown, yet he showed no concern for her when it happened."

Listening to his words the Group Chat members all narrowed their eyes towards the number two hero as even Ruby glared at the photo of the number two hero.

Moving on they went to the 3rd ranked hero was Hawks as Tatsumi explained what he knew about them as Hawks was a secret agent for the government acting like their assassin inside the light as well as taking care of things for them.

Nodding at that they went to the 4th hero Best Jeanest and looking through the reports his one of the few heroes that earn that title with his years of experience under his belt from the hero wiki in the MHA world has detailed about him.

Next was the 5th hero was Edgeshot a hero that specializes in ambush and takes downs against villains thanks to his quirk. He was another one with great experience fighting multiple villains by himself with quiet and quick takedowns making him hard to hit.

The 6th ranked hero is Miriko a rabbit mutant hero that uses her traits of a rabbit to fight crime as well as a battle junkie according to the wiki as well as one of the few hero communities against quirk discrimination as well as solo hero company as she does things by her book as well as her tough personality speaking her mind.

The 7th ranked hero was someone named the Shield Hero Crust as there was info about him following the steps of All Might to protect people and inspire others.

The 8th ranked hero is the Laundry Hero Wash a literal dishwasher who surprised the members of his unique body but read the wiki about him taking his job very seriously to help others as well as see battle videos online that surprised them.

As they viewed the video Ruby was the one to speak somewhat honestly surprised as she comments on the video, "Ok so how does exactly a guy dressed as a literal walking dishwasher be so heroic! I mean seriously why is he a thing!"

Hinata was just as honestly confused as Ruby was as Tatsumi pats her in confusion as well as he spoke to her in a confused tone, "I don't know Ruby but somehow this world life made the stupid impossible into reality. Sometimes we just don't question these types of things that life has in mind even if it's bullshit."

Saeko didn't even bother to question the idea as she stares at the hero Wash videos in a blank expression before moving on.

The next hero certainly caught Tatsumi's attention as this was another change that he never expected to see as she was supposed to be in prison.

The 9th hero is Lady Nagant also known to the public as the Sniper Hero as she uses her quirk [Rifle] to help out in quick takedowns with the police and government enforcements alongside Hawks spreading rumors of the two dating but nothing confirmed.

Tatsumi then notified the others as well and made sure to make her a priority as he spoke to them getting their attention in a concerned tone, "Guys Lady Nagant is also a secret member of the government agents but originally she was supposed to be in prison for disobeying orders. And she might be more dangerous as Hawks."

Hearing this Saeko got confused as she responded to Tatsumi as Ruby was also wondering about it as well, "Really? If that is the case, why wouldn't they have her closer to the rankings then? Wouldn't it make more sense for her to be more open to being used?"

It was at that moment Hinata shot down her idea as she responds with her idea as she speaks to Tatsumi in a curious tone, "No not necessarily. They may have her in hiding as a weak hero but in actuality, she's very strong like a hidden card to the government. Possibly hiding in plain sights, right?"

Tatsumi for his part nodded but it was only a guess he wasn't sure how accurate it was but for now, they have to tread very carefully on Lady Nagant since she is quite possibly very dangerous in a sudden attack.

However, Tatsumi thought a bit differently if he was the one pitted against her as he thought to himself curiously, 'Although Lady Nagant is probably more experienced in assassination it would be pretty hard to do that on me. With my Haki and [Lionel] transformation along with the Trump Card [Regenerator], I could probably survive a shot to the head since Leone has done the same as she was shot in the mouth maybe…'

Shaking his head off the idea they proceed to the final hero on the rankings.

The 10th hero is the Equipped Hero: Yoroi Musha an elderly-looking man with a long white beard, bald head, and pale orange eyes with black sclera. His Hero Costume is a full set of Japanese armor with a red cape wrapped around his torso. His helmet notably has one large horn pointing upwards.

From what the wiki says about him it says is one of the oldest hero families that follow the ways of the Samurai as well as help people with his quirk matching his name [Equip].

His quirk [Equip] allows him to equip himself using different weapons that also allows the user to increase the strength of the weapon as it says that once he [Equip] using a sword that the same sword grants the user increase strength so long as he equips the weapon but to each different weapon he uses has varied of effects.

Glancing at the laptop and writing down some notes about the current Top 10 Ranked heroes they needed to at least take down at least four more of them before they could complete their quest.

That was when Hinata began to ask another important question to the members as they somewhat forget about the last one, "Since we have the heroes down what do we do about the last quest? To invite someone into our group. Who exactly would fit our group?"

At that question, the group member scrunched their faces at that since the attack of the USJ incident is bound to happen the heroes would probably want to capture them. The thought of adding one of the Class-1A did cross their minds when Tatsumi explained to them.

But they scratch that thought out of their minds because of the attack on their idol All Might they would probably not listen to them if they figured out what was coming. Plus adding the fact that they won't be able to kill or harm people like Ruby was at the beginning took her time to adjust to the situation and different experiences.

Getting a hero from them wouldn't be a good idea depending on the Quest would ask of them if that were the case.

However, that was when Tatsumi began to list down possible people to join just as ideas as he spoke to the members, "Well there might be a few that might be good although that's depending on their personality. There's Himiko Toga, Double, Dabi, or maybe Miriko considering her battle junkie needs. But honestly, those are people I can top off my head for what needs to be done."

Listening to his words they could recruit them but then again they considered the thought only four of them are villains and a maybe on one hero, so their current odds weren't that good at the moment.

They sighed for now as currently, they have to deal with the hero's targets first before acting on who to recruit.

With that, Saeko began to head to the kitchen as she told the other members with a smile as she talked to them kindly, "In that case how about I cook us something to eat. I brought some food along this time around. I'll cook for us this time and we can discuss who to target while we eat that fine?"

They all nodded at that as Ruby sighed as she questions her life choices at that moment as she spoke out with anime teary eyes expressed, "Sigh… why we couldn't have been heroes and that ice boy ruined it for me! Life is so unfair…"

The three members laughed at Ruby's predicament as they all began to get themselves settled in as they tried to search down who to target who as well as learn more about the MHA world before they act on what to do next.
