Soon, a few days passed, and the participants slowly dwindled leaving only the Devils, Angels, Sorcerers, and finally, Dragons.

So far, only the Sorcerers and Dragons managed to occupy a temple and get its rewards like some temporary artifacts that are only eligible till the end of the event.

It was finally a showdown between the Devils and the Angels.

As for how they met? It was just a coincidence that they met in a broad desert and because of a temple that resides in it.

So both sides were eager on who will be able to enter the temple first.

Meanwhile, Sona was already forming calculations and strategies in her mind while on the outside, she was seriously on guard.

Sona knew that fighting the Angels face on will result in their defeat, because not only did the angels have an advantage in number but also because Angels use magic that is very fatal to Devils like them.

So facing them head-on will be crossed out, and the only choice they have is either fight them or outrun the angels and enter the temple before them.

Sona then decided to gamble and outrun them instead of fighting them since fighting them will do no good.

After that, Sona whispered the plan to Rias and Sairaorg and they both agreed.

They might not be as smart as Sona but they're not idiots, they knew that fighting the Angels will be a mistake for them.

Meanwhile, when Dulio saw that Sona was whispering something to her team, he knew that something was wrong, so he told his team to get ready.

And his premonition was right when Sona suddenly casts a huge magic circle and a huge tsunami came out, ready to sweep them away.

Griselda was the first one to react and smoothly dodged the Tsunami, followed by Dulio, Vasco, Ewald, and Diethelm.

Once the tsunami was finally away, Dulio immediately looked toward the Devils and almost cursed when he saw that Rias, Sona, and Sairaorg with their wings out, flying away towards the temple.

Griselda also saw this and immediately shouted, "Let's chase them!" Soon they also released their wings and chased after them.

Meanwhile, Sona saw that they were almost near the temple when she suddenly felt a sensation burning her arm.

When she turned her head to look, she saw that Dulio was casting a light spear while staring at her and she also saw some of them, ready to throw light spears.

"Damn! hurry up!" Sona cursed and told her team.

Sairaorg knew about what was happening, so without hesitation, he used his touki that can increase his speed tenfold and grabbed both Sona and Rias, and finally disappeared from his place, shocking the angels at his speed.

"Is that Touki?" Griselda muttered, she knew about touki and this is the first time she saw someone who can use touki besides Youkai.

Dulio heard what she said and looked at Sairaorg who was already entering the temple in shock, he too heard about touki and knew that only Youkais could harness it.

"Let's hurry up!" Once seeing that they finally entered the temple, Griselda felt that something bad was about to happen so she hurried her team and soon they also reached the temple.

Once inside, they were shocked when suddenly, an ax came flying at them but they soon recovered and Griselda just casually swatted the ax away.

"Traps?" Griselda asked in confusion, the same can be said for others.

As far as they can see, once they entered the temple, the first thing they noticed was that the entrance was gone and it was replaced by a sturdy wall.

So when they saw this, they raised their guard and looked around in caution.

They knew that there are traps here and the ax earlier proved that.

"I wonder what happened to the Devils. After all, they entered here first." Ewald asked in wonder.

Unknown to them, the Devils that they were talking about were casually strolling around the control room.

"I didn't expect that the first time we entered here, it immediately brought us to this room," Sona said while staring at an artifact that is displayed on the wall.

Meanwhile, Rias just strolled around and finally reached a room full of screens, showing different rooms and in one of the rooms, Rias saw the Angels looking around in caution.

Rias was amused by this and when she saw buttons underneath the screens, a devilish idea formed in her mind.

"Is this the control room?" Riss excitedly asked herself but first, she decided to call her teammates, after all, she didn't want to enjoy this herself.

Once Sona and Sairaorg arrived, they were also shocked by the screens and when they saw the Angels and the numerous buttons underneath the screen.

They immediately knew what this room was, Sairaorg didn't react much since for him, fighting your opponent head-on is more fun than this.

Rias looked around the buttons and saw that each button has different images, some looked like an arrow, a bear, a pack of wolves, and many more.

Rias looked at the buttons and decided to push the one with a flame printed on it.

Once she pushed the button, she looked at the screen, particularly at the Angels.

The moment she looked at the screen, she saw that the Angels were dodging the flames easily.

Rias was annoyed by this and lushed the button with a bear on it.

Inside the room where Angels reside, they saw a wall opens up and a growl was heard by them.

They stared at the dark space and slowly saw a figure coming out and then was revealed to be a humongous bear that roared at them.

"Roarrr!!!!" The bear roared and tried to attack the Angels with his claws but he was easily taken down by Vasco who used his fist to punch the bear.

"Be careful, they might be more coming." Griselda knew that the bad feeling she was feeling earlier was right.

Back in the control room, Sona saw what Rias just did and decided to try it herself.

She looked around the buttons and found one that looked like a shoe.

She was confused about what a shoe can do and decided to press the button.

And what she saw next was a bit shocking to her.
