Unveiled Mystery
Reyn looked outside, observing the residents and soldiers cleaning up the remnants of the battle. He gazed at it, recalling the appearance of the kingdom before the war and comparing it to now. A few minutes earlier, Reyn had felt happy about winning, but now, he felt empty as if he had lost something precious.
Heyla approached, placing a hand on his shoulder, giving him a warmth that Reyn might have needed.
Meanwhile, Glok sat on a chair, not taking his eyes off Ailord, who was now sleeping soundly with regular breaths. He could still remember how pale he was with ragged breaths. That thought kept haunting him, imagining Ailord disappearing once Death's Touch spread again.
