Character Roster
This is a glossary of the characters mentioned in the story so far. It should help keep track of who's who. Let me know if you have any suggestions, either through the comments here or on our Discord channel.

Zanir Coffey - The main character and protagonist of the novel. Reincarnated from Earth into the strange world of Norantal, the novel follows his acquisition of the mysterious and powerful Dimension System. With the ability to absorb, enhance, and restructure the very world around him, he'll use his wits to navigate and combat various obstacles on his journey across the Iskarii continent and beyond. First appearance: Chapter 1.
Kevin Coffey - Zanir's father. He is a retired level three warrior who was exiled from the Coffey clan under circumstances that have not yet been revealed. Though he's often hard on Zanir, it's only because he wants the best for him. He has a great love of fishing and drinking, preferring beer over hard liquor. Married to Sarah Coffey. First appearance: Chapter 1.
Sara Coffey - Zanir's mother. She is a former water mage who retired alongside her husband Kevin Coffey. Well-versed in the mystical arts, she still retains a few old curios and trinkets, which she hopes to pass down to Zanir someday. She loves cooking new and interesting dishes, secretly hoping to open up a restaurant someday. First appearance: Chapter 4.
Marvin Braxtel - One of the longest employed farmhands on the Coffey farm. He's worked for them since Zanir was a young boy. Devoutly loyal to his employers, he is a good friend to the entire family. First appearance: Chapter 4.
Bart - A long time farmhand on the Coffey farm. He's best friends with Marvin and known throughout the farm for his clumsiness. His heart is in the right place, even if his balance is not. First appearance: Chapter 5
Reed - Mysterious Druid, who is much more than he appears to be. Disgraced from an unknown scandal, he has been relegated to a distant and quiet region. The items that he provides Zanir with leave more questions than answers. Over time, we begin to discover just how connected and involved he really is. First appearance: Chapter 10
??? - A hooded man who is mentioned very briefly. He is somehow connected to the appearance of the undead zombies. It will be quite a long time before before we meet him again and discover more about his intentions. First appearance: Chapter 12
Fred - Dimwitted forest bandit. He is often slow to catch on and relies heavily on his best friend Mark. Originally part of the Iron Shield bandit group who was betrayed by Julio. He eventually joins Zanir as part of the Iron Devil Corp. First appearance: Chapter 22
Mark - Quick-witted forest bandit. He is Fred's best friend and can often be heard educating or correcting Fred. Originally part of the Iron Shield bandit group who was betrayed by Julio. He eventually joins Zanir as part of the Iron Devil Corp. First appearance: Chapter 22
Terry - Forest bandit leader. He was the original leader of the Iron Shield bandit group, before being betrayed by Julio. Large and tough, he is a capable fighter who is no stranger to the politics of power. He eventually joins Zanir as the captain of the Iron Devil Corp. First appearance: chapter 23.
Julio - Ambitious bandit who betrayed Terry and assumed command of the Iron Shield bandit group. He had no qualms about killing innocent woman and children. First appearance: chapter 28.
Jacob - Bandit leader of an unnamed bandit group. He is friends with Terry, having worked together with him in the past. He eventually joins up as part of the Iron Devil Corp. First appearance: chapter 33.
