1.7.2 Moving Out

"Hey hey hey. Wake up, birthday boy," Rui whispered.

"HmmmmmMMmm…5 mooore minutes Rui," Takashi said with an extremely exhausted voice.

"We have to leave early."

Takashi continues to keep his eyes closed.

"*Puts left index finger on chin and strokes it* I guess you don't want to move into your new home?" Rui said mockingly.

Takashi instantly got up at the sound of that sentence. "I'm up I'm up!"

"*Smirks* Are you sure you're up cause you can keep sleeping if you want. We don't necessarily HAVE to move," Rui said sarcastically.

"No no, I wanna go!!" Takashi said with a teary voice.

"Alright alright. Just take a deep breath. Now go take a shower. I don't want to be smelling a sweaty 10-year-old in my car."

"Speaking of cars. I always forget to ask this question. Why do people of this world use cars if the average person can just run to places? I mean Demis are so much faster and stronger than humans."

"Lemme ask you this. How many pounds can you lift using one arm?"

"About 10-15 pounds."

"Can you lift 10-15 forever and not get tired?"

"No."

"There you go. That's the answer. Plus the average demi can run only up to 17 miles per hour for males and 12.76 for females. But that is the average. When we take into account military, elite members, etc. are much much higher."

"Hmm. Interesting how it's the same in my world but humans are just really weak and slower."

"Takashi you did say that how crime happens over here it's more or less the same over there right?"

"Yeah. The only difference is in population."

"I guess humans and demis are the same after all… Well anyway go take a shower and after you're done meet me outside."

Takashi got ready and double-checked his suitcase to make sure all his clothes were there. He didn't have anything of high value besides a few things.

"Clothes…check…cell phone…check…uhhh…PS5 *looks around* oh right it's in that bag…and I feel like I'm missing something. OH, MY WALLET! *Grabs wallet* Can forget about this."

Takashi stares at his closed wallet for a few seconds. He then forms a somewhat sad face. He takes a deep breath and exhales deeply. He then puts it in his pocket and grabs his suitcase. Before leaving his room he looks at it one more time and smiles. He closes the door behind him and heads downstairs and meets with Rui in the living room.

5:35 am

Outside of the house

"GOOOD MORNING SEXIES!!!" Jennifer yelled.

"Wassup Jennifer." Rui and Takashi said in sync.

Rui and Takashi put their bags in the trunk of the car.

Takashi looked inside the car and asked, "Wait, what about everyone else? It's only us 3?"

"Well Author and the others left last night while you were asleep. So Jennifer is driving us today. It's like a 6-hour drive so that's why I woke you up so early. Also for precautionary measures. Cause' like you know you're kinda a big deal here Takashi," Rui said.

"I'm like the Illuminati… a hidden celebrity," Takashi said.

Jennifer yelled, "Is everyone ready?!

"Can you please not yell? It's too early for this." Rui said.

"Aw come on…show some excitement! Takashi are you ready?!"

"YES!" He responded clenching his fist in excitement.

The 3 then got in the car.

"Next stop FlareVolt City!" Jennifer yelled.
