Mimickery

Zero watch as the Alpha swung his hand, aiming for Gaby's head but the Sorceror intervened in the split of a second, grabbing the young lad and vanishing just in time to appear a few paces from them before the beasts huge fangs crushed into the rock the throne was made off, slashing off a huge chunk and sending it crashing into the wall of the cave.

Dark gently placed Gaby on the floor and observed the wound doubtfully.

The opening was huge and deep since it was not the usual sized sword that had just ran through him, luckily it had just missed his heart by an inch.

Zero appeared Infront of the Alpha, drawing it's attention and letting the beast turn in his direction.

It growled at him ferociously as a huge blast of air emerged from it's fang-filled mouth.

The smell made Zero hold a deep breath as the air gouged past him, forcing his black hair backwards and causing a few strands to cling to his face, some even obstructing his eyes.

Zero pushed it aside to find the Alpha aiming for his head.

He calmly raised his index and ring finger glued together in his face to summon a company of large swords and arrow, then he sent them flying at the beast.

As they neared it,the Alpha stopped to surround itself with a transparent yellow coloured barrier,a move zero found rather intriguing that he didn't know when a grin formed on him face.

"Ohhhhhooo!!"The Chief Knight exclaimed as he excitedly watched his swords drop to the ground before disappearing.

The beast growled as a ball of glowing liquid appeared before it.

Zero thought he heard it yell out; "die!!"afterwards,he quickly shoved off the thought until....

"Die!"the beast growled again, this time even louder that dark turned backwards to confirm what his ears had just heard.

The Chief Knight smirked as he heard it talk trying his best to hide his surprise.

The Alpha he knew always had some measure of intelligence and magic but he had read of it being able to speak.

No doubt the savages were evolving, and that was bad news for them, would even be more terrible if they all turned out acquiring magic abilities.

That would make killing them more difficult.

Zero watched the huge ball of light approach him, just in time he quickly summoned an enormous shield to shield him.

From the other end,he watched it slowly melt from above, letting some of the liquid seep through.

The Chief Knight slowly stepped backwards watching it's dissolution hasten.

In the flicker of a second, the liquid broke through and headed for him.

Zero quickly vanished on impulse to appear on the crumbled throne as he watched the wall of the cave that took the hit in his place disintegrate.

Although the liquid had eaten through it, leaving a hole which led to the other cave,it continued melting the surrounding edges and the ground it had touched.

"What is that liquid?"he muttered to himself.

He had never seen a magic like this before, never read about it.He could have used decarpos but....

He glanced over at dark before returning his gaze back at the Alpha who had already turned it's attention to him.

That was the problem.

He couldn't use it Infront of Dark.He would instantly know he was the Sorceror Prince and that would be the end of him.

Perhaps he could even end up living as the Higher ups puppet for the rest of his life in order to hide his identity.

Zero drew out his sword and went straight for it,his wings propelling him in the air towards his target.

As he neared the Alpha,he summoned a dozen other swords beside him and together they plunged down on it but the barrier prevented them, just in time to stop them from landing a successful hit.

Still Zero was persistent,he kept strikingly the barrier endlessly as he watched the mocking look on the Alpha's face, soon enough it was sure to give way.He was sure of it.

In the split of a second, the barrier went down,Zero's instinct immediately told him what was coming.

He vanished immediately to appear below the large beast by one of his legs.

He watched the liquid spill out again, this time eroding it's throne before eating away the ground below it.

The Alpha looked below to find him but it was too late,Zero's ice magic had touched him, transferring it's cooling effect through a quick touch before stepping away to appear beside his other leg.

The savage growled and raised it to trample upon him but the Chief Knight moved out of its way just before it hit the ground before softly touching it again with a smiting smirk on his face.

Now he was inside the savage barrier field, the Alpha couldn't prevent a hit by erecting one, what he had needed was to get close and this was it

He would go where ever it went, ever embracing it's proximity till he sends it over

He thought, smiling to himself while enjoying it's ferocious growls as it struggled to free itself from the ice.

Chief Knight Zero now stood below it

He looked above him to find an opening underneath his legs then grinned even wider at what he was about to do.

Pointing his sword straight at it,he took a swift jump and just as planned, his sword hit flesh...that particular flesh he was after which he assumed would protrude out anytime it wanted to mate, that is if it mated, making the beast growl loudly in pain but Zero plunged in even deeper till his hand was just close to the opening which was gross.

He quickly landed and flew away to land a few feet from Dark who was still busy healing Gaby, both his hands glowing with a blue light on the injured area.

The Savage grabbed the area before his weight pulled him backwards and as he fell, the ice on it's leg gave way.

The Dark eyes of the Sorceror caught sight of him then he turned to look at the beast.

"You will pay for this!"

"Pay for what exactly... harming the boy or your dog?"Zero grinned.

The Sorceror didn't respond only averted his gaze to Gaby before drawing his face close to his nostrils to check if he was breathing.

"The Darrrrkkee I know cared nothing for a single living thing...what's with you and the lad...wait_the higher ups, you'll be cooked once they find out you couldn't protect their once in a hundred years Leinerrr!"The Chief Knight laughed meticulously, brushing away a few strands of hair off his face.

"Help me...Gerald...please!"Came his own voice, from the Sorceror.

Zero stopped laughing to listen, bewildered.

"What ma...ma..nner of sorcerey_"the Chief Knight stammered.

"I went west.... quickly...I am dying"

"I'll come to you where are you"He heard Gerald say.

"He wouldn't dare_"Zero said shaking his head.

Dark turned to him with a sinister grin on his face.

"Why don't you find out for yourself"He laughed gruesomely.

"That isn't telepathy"

"What do you think it is?....It's advanced telepathy modified by none other...."

Immediately they both turned in the direction of the Alpha,it was up again, though still bleeding, and the liquid flying straight at them.

They had both sensed it and teleported away in an instant.

Dark reappeared by entrance of the Alpha's layer with an unconscious Gaby in his arms, his head turned in Zero's direction.

"Don't be long....you might get to see him one last time before he dies...just might"The Sorceror laughed before disappearing.

Zero kicked a pile of dust off the ground before eyeing the layer's entrance,Dark had sensed it too....the Alpha had summoned dozens of savages who were now on their way to the Cave,it probably didn't earlier, had probably thought he could handle him alone but now he was injured he needed their protection.

Now Dark was gone,he had there was no one around to hide Decarpos from,he would waste no further precious time fighting this thing.

Gerald was in trouble and deep within him he was certain the emperor's knight would go west having heard his call in distress despite being warned and having orders to stay by the emperor's side,he knew how much the emperor's knight loved him.

Chief Knight Zero teleported on the Alpha's summoned a black magic circle and muttered silently;

"Decapos!"

A huge gust of black air surrounded the beast, from it's feet then concentrically engulfing it as it began decomposing from within, yet it felt no pain.

The beast stood staring into space,it's whole body yielding to a greater power, one it could neither resist or stop.

In no time the beast shriveled before slowly turning to a pile of rotten corpse.

Zero quickly plucked out a fang before it's body parts heaped upon itself to become unrecognizable.

This was his decompo spell when complete unlike what he had used earlier on the assassin, his opponent turning into an unrecognizable semisolid heap of rot thrash having no trace of smell of its living form.

Sadly he wouldn't be bringing Tyran it's head, that would give him away on the spot.

It's fangs were twice that of the average savage,it was sufficient proof.

He eyed the corpse for a while before sniffing at the fang.

It reeked slightly of rot but he still needed to proof to the Emperor it was dead.

Zero spat on the corpse before vanishing.
