Absurd!

When Michael stated his term, it took several long seconds for his request to register in the minds of everyone present, except for his own lizardmen, of course. The looked indifferent to the words of Michael, partly because they did not understand what he meant, and partly because they trusted anything he said.

"What? That's absurd!" Eudora finally exclaimed. She looked shaken by Michael's very words. His request was too much.

Most parts of the world did not openly welcome monsters amongst them, even if they were able to hold back their blood thirst. Because of that, the cities that did welcome them were relatively few and far in between, and Seneris was not one of them.

"Watch your tone." Aiden hissed as he took a step forward. He did not like the way the adventurers acted around Michael, and it had been rubbing him the wrong way for a while now.

Brutus' brother took a step forward to match Aiden's stance.
