I ended up making this chapter slightly shorter than I intended, but it just felt right to cut it there for sh*ts and giggles XD

Her white hooves, covered to over half her calf in crimson horseshoes, slowly landed on the checkered grass, instantly lighting it up on fire, followed by the corrupted Princess of the Sun releasing a low chuckle.
"And here I thought you would be more of a challenge. A pity..." She said, looking towards the cloud of smoke where a certain Draconequs stood just a moment ago. Then her gaze turned to fall upon Starfall, as her expression brightened.
"Ah! Darling! I finally found you!"The Princess spoke excitedly intending to approach Starfall, but before he could say anything, Twilight stepped in front of the Stallion.
"Who are you? What do you want with Starfall?!" She spoke warily soon being joined by the other mares.
"Yeah! You are clearly dangerous! Although I really love the shoes and that tiara...But you need to state your intentions!" Added Rarity joining Twilight as everypony stood firmly in front of Starfall. A pony, who could "explode" Discord, and an Alicorn to boot, was a dangerous enemy If she was hostile towards them...
Starfall felt a bit of warmth spread inside his chest at the actions of his girls, but he still felt like it was only going to make things worse after he analysed the situation.
The Princess squinted her eyes seeing the Mares who stole her Starfall, standing in her way.
"Me? I...am DAYBREAKER! And I'm going to destroy you all for taking my Starfall away from me! Darling! Please don't interfere! It would only take a moment and then we can finally be together!"She said menacingly before adding the last part in a sweet tone...
'Ah...So that's why...' Starfall understood what happened in that moment and felt terrible for not realising it sooner. Her weird behaviour during the Gala was a clear indicator that something wasn't right, and knowing clearly how magic can mess with your mind he should have been at least suspicious and taken action...
Although he was surprised that she ended up with her canon name, but thinking about it, she made it up herself originally, so maybe she had imagined herself as Daybreaker long before the canon. He could certainly believe that she would imagine herself as Nightmare Moon's counterpart at least once during this thousand years...He would as well if he was in a similar situation...How would he- Right let's get back to the topic at hand, he didn't even paid attention to what was happening...
"We won't Let ya touch our Starfall, you...whoever you are!" Shouted Applejack indignantly taking a step forward.
"Yeah! You would have to first pass through us!" Added Pinkie Pie with a smile unbefitting of the situation.
"And what even is that name! Day-braker! If you constantly slow down you won't be able to catch us haha!"Laughed Rainbow Dash ready to fight for her Coltfriend with everything she had.
"Uhh...Girls? I appreciate the sentiment, but you do know I am here as well right? I can also fight, though I think we should first ask her how she turned out like this..." He pointed out stepping in between Twilight and Rarity.
All the girls now realised that they were defending somepony who could quiet proficiently defend himself on his own, and felt a bit awkward at this moment.
Suddenly though Twilight comprehended the second part of his sentence.
"What do you mean by that Starfall? Who is she?" Twilight asked trying to recognise the large mare with a burning fire mane, crimson Jewelry, slitted eyes and sharp teeth that reminded her of... Nightmare Moon.
Suddenly her eyes opened wide.
"Oh no... Princess..."She whispered but everyone heard it, and came to the same conclusion.
"Oh Yes, my silly Twilight Sparkle. To think you wouldn't recognise your beloved teacher, Mwahahaha! Though we talked for far too long. Prepare for your inevitable annihilation!" She spoke crazily as a car-sized ball of fire formed above her horn.
"No..."Twilight remained standing there in shock, but before any of them could do anything to stop the attack, two beams of blue energy impacted the sphere, making it explode, throwing Daybreaker away and burying her under the rubble from some house she destroyed while being flung.
"WHO DARES!?..."She screamed in fury while trying to get out unsuccessfully, while two new ponies landed right in front of the group and between them and the Corrupted Princess under the rubble.
"What?! Luna!? Why... Why is there two of you?!" Twilight said In shock, which was a question on everyone's mind.
Luna or at least the Luna lookalike with Silvery white, shiny hair, turned her head to answer Twilight's question.
"It's... It's a long Story Twi. Starfall would understand it more." She turned to Starfall with a wry smile. "Sorry about that Love, we accidentally destroyed your flesh transfiguration formation while getting rid of the consequences of being mind controlled by Tia...Say hello to Midnight Moon by the way. We spend an entire five minutes coming up with that name on our way here as she disliked being called 'Nightmare'." She explained with a grin as the other Luna, or rather, Midnight Moon waved to them shyly, a bit self conscious.
The two Mares looked nearly identical if not for their coats, Cutie Marks and Manes, Luna having a lighter coat with her hair a beautiful colour of pure silvery white that sparkled like stars in the sky. Her cutie mark also changed keeping the original shapeless blackness surrounding the moon, but now, it was a pure white full moon.
Midnight on the other hand kept her mane relatively similar to Luna's original colour, if not slightly darker and more on the violet side, gaining a similar shine that Luna now received, while her coat was darker, though not as much as to melt with her totally black Cutie Mark.
said cutie Mark, while similar to Luna's was now an almost completely black moon with patches of dark purple with a white areola around it, that made it appear a bit similar to a sun eclipse, but was most likely just there to separate it from the familiar shapeless blackness surrounding it and covering her flank.
Everypony tried to say something but their minds went blank...
"Wait...You mean to tell us that she is Nightmare Moon?!" Rainbow Dash asked warily causing most of the girls to instantly turn alert.
"Well. Not exactly, though she most certainly was created from a fragment of her magic...But don't worry. I have an absolute trust in Midnight. She's basically me with all my memories but a slightly morbid humor..."She reassured while her clone gave her a dirty look.
"it's nice to meet you everypony. While I do have all the memories of Luna, I'd be happy to make some new memories of our own... If you let me." She said feeling a bit self conscious...
The girls looked at her with some worry while Starfall tried to comprehend how did everything derailed so much from what he expected to happen today. Though he did smile and gave her a slight nod to reassure her that she needn't worry and he would step in if he had to...
But just then, Fluttershy stepped forward shyly and extended her hoof with a smile.
"I...I'd be happy to be your friend Midnight."She said causing Midnight to tear up in happiness.
"Yeah! Welcome to Equestria Moonymoons!" Added Rainbow with a smirk hitting her lightly on the shoulder.
One after the other the girls greeted the mare and it was finally the turn of Starfall.
Both of them stood there for a moment slightly embarrassed, because each understood something about Midnight...She had ALL memories of Luna...
Finally though Starfall broke the silence.
"I'm very happy to meet you Moon. I...I'll do my best to ensure that all your feelings belong to you and-*Mphh*"He was interrupted by Midnight catching his lips with her own causing everyone to look at them in shock.
The passionate kiss lasted for a while until finally they separated while blushing.
"They are my own...always have been. The new memories just showed me what to anticipate in the future, my Prince..." She whispered with a wink, while licking her lips seductively.
Starfall realised that this clone of Luna was a bit more forward than the original mare...
*RUMBLE*
Everyone turned towards the sound at once, only to find an enraged Daybreaker covered in dust getting up from the rubble.
"It's YOU! You Stole My Starfall! I don't know how you managed to multiply "Sister", But this time I'm going to destroy you!!!" She screamed before lifting into the air with her horn already growing in power, ready to release an attack.
"Don't worry everypony! Well take care of it!" Said Luna, before both the Alicorns lifted from the ground and went to engage Daybreaker not giving others any chance to reply.
*CRUNCH*
Suddenly, there was a sound of loud crunching to the side.
*CRUNCH*
Everypony turned their heads only to find Discord sitting on a cinema seat while eating popcorn. He stopped for a moment and waved his hand.
"Don't mind me! I'm just enjoying the show!..." He called out before getting back to eating.
Suddenly, a voice resounded right beside the Draconequs.
"Can I have some?" Asked Pinkie Pie appearing beside the Spirit of Chaos who momentarily screamed in fright.
"Wha-!? How did you get here so fast?!" He asked her while jumping away, as Pinkie shrugged.
"I walked? Now...Can I have some Popcorn." She asked again, and Discord just shrugged and sat back down before giving her the bowl, as she sat beside him on a chair that wasn't there just a moment ago.
Discord was puzzled about it, but just shrugged again, and felt that he must have created it himself subconsciously. Soon the two of them returned to watching the show where two nearly identical alicorns stood against their corrupted Sister...
As all that was happening, the five mares together with Starfall simply watched the flabbergasting exchange in stunned silence, while occasionally checking up on the ongoing fight in the sky...
