Chapter 198 Activity Time

Meanwhile, Aoi was sitting inside the tree trunk, outside the Uchiha territory, in the practice area amidst the bunch of similar tree's

'Well, I have 30 minutes of activity time. First, let's reveal myself and then see the reactions of the higher-ups. Try to find out will i die or stay alive after meeting them? If left alive, then it's fine; if not, then I will recall and stay behind the scene.' Aoi thought planning it all, feeling extremely intrigued and having fun, he could already feel the thrill of such an experience.

'Probably, this is the life I was looking forward to; life and death are in my hands, and still I have to solve the mystery with infinite options.' Aoi thought, and a smile materialized on his face.

After sensing that no one was available around this area, he phased through the tree trunk using the wood limit, then walked toward the Uchiha clan residence.

Near the Uchiha Clan, he instantly stopped looking at the markings on the ground and the forbidden strip's covering around all the entrances and exits.

'It's time to act.' Aoi thought, and the next moment, his face changed, and he hurriedly walked toward a ninja standing beside the entrance.

Instantly, a few dark figures appeared around that ninja, looking at Aoi in surprise and alertly, but the ninja was surprised he raised his hand and stopped them. Looking at Aoi, his brow furrowed, 'Another Uchiha child survived, how did this happen?'

He whispered in the ear of a dark Anbu ninja beside him. The Anbu ninja nodded and disappeared.

Aoi anxiously appeared beside him and asked, looking at everything around him timidly, "Uncle, what happened here?"

"I will tell you everything; let's go; I will take you to meet someone." The ninja was probably from the Yamanaka clan, spoke kindly, then picked Aoi and disappeared. After jumping through the roof, he sensed someone was following him.

'As expected, they also want this child. I can't let them have him at any cost.'

While inside the Hokage building, Sarutobi was surprised to see Anbu in front of him. Hearing another child survive, his brow furrowed as he looked at Danzo sitting beside him.

Danzo was also surprised, then asked, "Tell me his identity."

"It's Aoi Uchiha, that child who was physically ill, without any ninja talent; you ordered us to remove the surveillance on him; it seems he spent the night outside that's why survived." Anbu replied,

"Leave that child to me anyway; he is useless; we promised to let Sasuke survive only; although he may be ineffective, in the future, his generation may not; we should not leave any possibility of revival of such an evil bloodline." Danzo said expressionlessly,

Sarutobi's brow furrowed thoughtfully, and after thinking for a while, he shook his head. "It's not that I don't want to leave him to you, but it will damage our faces if we shoot a child in such situations, and by now a lot of ninjas have seen him and a lot of villagers know him. You can't do anything to him now."

Danzo raised his brow, then nodded thoughtfully. He understood what Sarutobi meant: 'I can't touch him now; let the situation calm down; then it will be easy to make a child disappear.' He thought, then stood up, left the Hokage office,

Instantly Yamanaka ninja, appeared in the building alongside Aoi in his arm; he put him down.

Aoi's face was pale. sat down and took deep breaths while tears flowed through his eyes. Both Sarutobi and another Anbu inside the building were speechless, looking at Aoi asthma-like condition.

Then both Sarutobi and Anbu turned and glanced at the Yamanaka clan ninja strangely.

The Yamanaka ninja was also startled by the strange gaze of Sarutobi and an Anbu ninja. An embarrassing expression shrouded his face. "It seems I ran faster in order to bring him here in a hurry, without considering his situation. Are you okay, little guy?" He then asked, looking at Aoi and rubbing his head embarrassingly.

Aoi took a deep breath and nodded; his breath settled down a little, then he replied with a pale complexion, "I am a fine uncle and legendary Hokage sama."

'Legendary Hokage?' All three mouths twitched, and Sarutobi felt extremely embarrassed looking at the strange expressions of the other two guys around.

He coughed, ignored them, and then smiled kindly, looking at Aoi's pale face. "Your name is Uchiha Aoi; can you tell me where you were last night?"

Aoi pale face became a little embarrassed, then said, "I went to catch the fish then return before sunset; somehow I tripped on a stone and fell, and then everything went dark; when I woke up, it was already the next day; I hurriedly returned to the home." 

Aoi explained then, startled as if he realized something, then asked anxiously, "Right at home, legendary Hokage Sama, what happened to our clan? I saw those marks that only a dead person can have." He recalled the marking with fear and an uneasy expression vivid on his face, looking at the Third Hokage Sarutobi.

Sarutobi was startled, looking at him and hearing his story. Seeing his realistic, fearful, and uneasy expression, he nodded in his heart. 'It seems he isn't lying; Anyway, it isn't Anbu's fault also; I told them to remove the surveillance on this child.'

The other Anbu and Yamanaka ninjas were also surprised, then nodded, believing his explanation.

Sarutobi then glanced at Aoi deeply. 'I heard Uchiha awaken Sharingan because of negative emotion; let's test him for the last moment.'

His expression became solemn, and he said, "Aoi, do you really want to know what happened to your Uchiha clan?"

Aoi startled, raised his head in a daze, then nodded with curiosity, anticipation, timidity, and other mixed emotions as a chaotic and confused child may show.

"Uchiha Clan was totally annihilated by your patriarch's eldest son, Uchiha Itachi; except there is another Uchiha survived beside you; he is Uchiha Sasuke; you are familiar with him." Sarutobi then said everything calmly, looking at him or paying attention to his pupil.
