Why?

'I would like to stay at home the most,' Yuuya knew that won't be possible because of a certain someone. To be honest it would be possible he just didn't want to give in.

"Was it different from what you expected?" Tsukasa smiled since he could feel that Yuuya was a little suspicious of him. And he didn't blame him rather it was a good thing to have doubt.

"At first I thought Houjou-san suspected me and was bringing me in for some questions," Yuuya said as that would be the normal way to do things.

"I can see why you'd think that, but I just wanted to thank you face to face, and from your point of view I should be the suspicious one, right?" Tsukasa said since Yuuya seemed a lot more mature than he thought.

Yuuya had just helped his daughter, but Tsukasa had invited Yuuya to one of the top schools in japan while treating him with respect. You wouldn't expect this from a man as big as Tsukasa Houjou. So in Tsukasa's eyes, Yuuya suspecting him was normal.

"A little," Yuuya wasn't reserved about it, of course, he was suspicious but it wasn't like he was scared of what Tsukasa could do.

"Tenjou-kun, Do you believe in the saying 'What goes around comes around'" Tsukasa asked.

"I don't," Yuuya said flatly without even wasting a second.

"I see, it makes sense that you think that way," Tsukasa had heard about the way Yuuya was treated since childhood, and he was surprised to see that Yuuya didn't turn into a crooked person from all of the abuse and trauma.

Instead, he bettered himself and became self-sufficient, it was really a marvelous event.

'But his disposition has changed a lot,' Tsukasa had read that before Yuuya wasn't a very vocal person since even if he said something he'd be ignored by people around him, But now he seemed more confident and assertive in his words given how he talking with Tsukasa.

"I also think that this saying is wrong most of the time, there are times when good people suffer their lives even if they help everyone and bad people can live in luxury even if they commit atrocities upon atrocities," Tsukasa said shaking his head. he could understand why Yuuya would think this saying was wrong.

"Even then I wanted to keep those words true for myself at least," Tsukasa just wanted to give Yuuya the kindness he had shown, may that have been intentional or not Yuuya had helped his daughter.

"Even then the reward was too big," Yuuya wasn't talking about the invitation to Ousei academy alone.

Tsukasa had used his influence to make sure the teachers at Kawasaki school get proper punishment for what they had done to Yuuya, this included their past neglect and abuse as well.

And on top of that the Houjou consortium was helping the victims of the Tenjou real estate company, and Tsukasa was making sure that Yuuya's parents don't get off lightly from this incident.

Of course, Tsukasa didn't know that Yuuya knew about this. To him, it seemed that Yuuya was still talking about the invitation alone.

"What you get for helping someone depends on what the person makes of it, sometimes you won't get anything, sometimes you'll be rewarded, or sometimes you might be the one who ends up in a loss, That is just how it is, Though I would say not to keep such things in mind when helping, but it is better to be careful so that you don't get hurt in the process," Tsukasa understood that the last reason was why no one helped Kaori before Yuuya did, they were scared of getting caught and scammed themselves.

Such cases are quite popular since they have happened in the past, there was even a man who was falsely accused of rape when he tried to help a woman at night when she was being harassed. This is what makes people scared of helping most of the time.

"For Tenjou-kun helping my daughter might've been a small thing, but to us, it was something we won't ever forget, it is that important to us," Tsukasa was truthful about this and Yuuya could feel it.

"I see," Yuuya nodded.

"So, I hope you find your stay at the school pleasant, Also if there is anything I can help with do contact Kaori she'll relay it to me," Tsukasa smiled as he conveyed what he needed to. He wasn't always at school so it would be better for Yuuya to contact Kaori, in different ways.

"Ok, then I'll take my leave," Tsukasa nodded as Yuuya stood up and walked out of the room.

Yuuya walked down the stairs as he encountered a few students who appeared to be from the third and second years, he passed them without saying anything and reached the second floor which was fully empty.

'Looks like everyone left to explore the Academy,' Yuuya thought as he exited the school building and went straight for the school gates. He had no plans for looking around the school today and wanted to go home straight away.

"Ah, Yuuya you came earlier than I thought," But Yuuya was met with Marin standing in front of the school gates with Grayfia.

"There was no need to wait for me," Yuuya looked at Marin since he was sure that Grayfia would wait for him since he didn't tell her otherwise.

"I have already seen the whole school aside from the commercial area anyway," Marin said like it wasn't a big deal.

"Then you should've gone and seen that with the others," Yuuya said flatly.

"Well, I wanted to look around with you so there was no point in going with the others," Marin grinned wanting to tease Yuuya but she was only met with his straight face.

'He is making me feel embarrassed about what I said,' Marin smiled wryly since she can't overcome the embarrassment by teasing Yuuya, if he got flustered she could easily turn the situation. But he didn't and that made her rethink why she said that even after knowing he won't have much of a reaction.

"Anyway, I am going home for the day," Yuuya really wasn't in the mood to look around the school.

"Sure sure, Let's go together," Marin jumped since this was the chance to turn the subject.

"Let's go then," Yuuya said as he walked towards the bridge.

"Hey Yuuya the bus stop is on this side," Marin didn't know why Yuuya was walking towards the bridge. Grayfia didn't even question it and was following Yuuya without a word.

"Donut shop," That was all Yuuya said.

"I see, That makes sense," Marin laughed walking alongside Yuuya and Grayfia as they stopped by the donut shop to try some of them before making their way back home.

"I am going, I need to do some research, Bye~!" Marin left saying that Yuuya and Grayfia made their way back home.

'What research is she talking about? A new cosplay?' Yuuya felt like he would be having a few problems coming his way in a few days.

"Welcome home," Apophis greeted Yuuya as he entered the house.

"Master I'll prepare the bath," Grayfia vanished after seeing Yuuya nod.

"Ho, You're approaching me?" Apophis opened her arms wide with a smirk seeing Yuuya come close to her.

"Why do this?" Yuuya asked standing right in front of Apophis.

"Because I want to," Apophis smiled hugging Yuuya.

"Don't create trouble for me," Yuuya said flatly.

"I won't alright, The textbook thing was a one-time trick," Apophis said seriously.

"I need to go and take a bath," Yuuya said seeing Apophis wasn't stepping back.

"Then you should go," Apophis said as if she didn't understand why he was saying that.

"How am I supposed to go, when you are hugging me?" Yuuya spelled it out for Apophis so that she can't play dumb.

"Oh silly me, Now you can walk," Apophis smiled as she jumped and wrapped her leg around Yuuya's waist while hugging his neck.

"…" Yuuya wasn't amused in the slightest.

"Oh, my grip is loosening I am about to fall down, Ash hold my waist or I am going to fall onto the cold and hard floor," Apophis was acting as Yuuya just looked at her blankly.

"Fall down then," Yuuya spoke flatly.

"Ah, come on, I am about to fall off, Please," Apophis whined like a child, unlike her age.

"Stop playing already," Yuuya said as he walked towards the bathroom he still didn't hold Apophis since he was sure she could handle herself properly.

"My My, Are you taking me to the bath? I surely don't mind it," Apophis grinned impishly getting close to Yuuya's face.

"I'll throw you out of the house," Yuuya answered flatly.

"Geez, I am just joking, not about the part where I don't mind," Apophis winked a few times as she got off Yuuya since they had reached the bath.

Grayfia was standing outside the bath in her usual maid uniform and she seemed to have finished preparing everything.
