Difference In Opinion

"Really, Thank you for doing that," But it seemed like Yuuya just couldn't stay in silence today as the girl who was about to intervene before thanked him with a smile.

"It was nothing, I also didn't notice before it became an issue," Yuuya answered flatly looking at the girl's large crimson eyes which were looking back at him as she blinked a few times.

Even though she is a young girl of average height, she is actually much more developed in certain areas, even more than the office lady who was older.

The girl tilted her head slightly making her short beige hair flutter a little. She was about to say something but...

"It surely wasn't nothing, no one else helped even after they noticed, I surely do hope someone learns from this," The office lady still seemed pissed as she made a snide comment towards the blonde guy, who did nothing but laugh not even bothering to reply.

Everyone else on the bus was also silent as the problem could be easily solved but they didn't want to give up their seats.

"Yes, I was also surprised no one helping the old lady, She clearly looked in discomfort," This time the girl spoke up sounding sad, it was like she couldn't understand why everyone else didn't do what she would in this situation.

"People have different opinions," Yuuya spoke flatly, he didn't really speak it fully since it would only complicate things.

But seemed like some people on the bus understood what he meant, and one of them was the person that looked the most annoying one, no scratch that he is the most annoying one on this bus.

"That is an interesting statement you've made there boy, But are you saying that I am wrong?" The blonde guy for the first time looked away from the mirror in his hand. He looked at Yuuya with an amused smile.

People have different opinions, and this is why everyone has different thoughts about what is correct and what is not. This is what Yuuya's statement meant fully.

Let's take the priority seat the blonde guy was sitting as an example.

Priority seats are seats reserved for elderly, injured, or pregnant women, this was their true purpose. But during the rush hours like now or times when such people aren't present, these seats are used as normal ones because of the lack of space.

And suppose a person from the above-mentioned appears during such times, the reaction of the people who are sitting in these seats vary, some might get up immediately, some get up after they are told about it by someone else, or some are like this blonde guy, they won't vacate the seat even after someone confronts them.

Now with this, some people like the office lady or the girl may say that what the blonde guy was doing was wrong, but from the blonde guy's perspective, he isn't wrong.

This is nothing but a difference in opinion on the topic of whether one should vacate the seat if one sees an elderly person. This is a pretty common moral question. Leaving the priority seat aside, if any of the other people sitting felt bad for the old lady they should've offered their seats when the office lady was talking to the blonde.

Anyway, Yuuya was sure things would reach the point where they would ask other people on the bus if anyone could give up their seat. So he chose to stand since he couldn't stand the pointless bickering.

So, Was the blonde guy correct, or was he wrong? Well, once again the answer will be different for different people. Some might say he was right and some might say he was wrong.

It is just a difference of opinion.

But it seemed like the blonde guy didn't like the idea of being wrong, it was like he thought he couldn't be wrong no matter the perspective.

"You win," Yuuya said flatly without even wanting to bother with him, he didn't want to listen to someone argue and surely the last thing he wanted to do right now, was arguing with someone.

"Hmm, You can see with one glance that you can't win against me, It seems you can see the greatness unlike some people, But don't lose heart ...it is just me who is special here Smart boy," The blonde seemed pleased, not with Yuuya but with himself.

Yuuya was fine with it, this seemed the fastest way to get this guy off his back.

"How can a person be so insufferable?" The office lady muttered as the bus stopped.

"Oh, this is my stop, I'll go first then, once again thank you," The office lady quickly left the bus after thanking Yuuya once more.

Yuuya turned his head as he felt a gaze on him, just a few seats behind him, there was a brown-haired boy and a black-haired girl, they were seated right next to each other as the boy was looking at him, his face was blank without an expression.

But Yuuya wasn't interested in the boy as he looked past him and right this instant the girl who was reading a book sitting next to the brown haired pried her eyes away from the book and look at Yuuya with a stern gaze with her gradient red eyes. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly but Yuuya didn't notice it.

Yuuya simply looked back ahead as he had seen what he needed to before taking out his phone from his blazer's inner pocket, but he narrowed his eyes a little as the girl who was in front of him seemed to have come a bit too close to him.

"Did you see anyone you know?" She asked in a sweet voice blinking her big eyes. The girl's eyes which were brimming with curiosity reminded Yuuya of a certain scene.

"…No," Yuuya answered as the bus moved and the girl stood up straight. It seemed like she became aware that she was standing a bit too close to him.

"I am sorry about that," The girl apologized as she acted rather cutely for her age.

'But, That's just a difference in opinion I guess,' Yuuya thought as he saw the blonde guy laughing with an amused look.

Anyway, the bus made its way to the bridge that was connected to the island where the schools were situated, the school was just a few minutes away as Yuuya was looking at his phone's screen.

After crossing the bridge, the bus stopped in front of the empty bus stop as all of the students left the bus, most of them went straight to their school, as Ousei academy's gate was on the left side while the gate for the Advanced nurturing school was on the right.

The gates were just a few hundred meters apart from one another and the bus stopped right in the middle where the stop was located.

Yuuya needed to turn left for Ousei academy, as for the girl who was trying to make small talk with him on the bus…

"I'll be going Tenjou-san hope you have a nice day~!" She smiled waving at him.

"Same to you Kushida-san," Yuuya said flatly as he turned around and started walking away.

The girl was a bit too friendly and had exchanged names with him on the bus, her full name was Kikyo Kushida. If not for Yuuya's single-word replies she might've talked a lot more with him.

Anyway, Yuuya seemed to have found another roadblock in front of him, and not in a metaphorical sense, but...

"You also looked at me on the bus, didn't you?" It was the black-haired girl wearing the same uniform as Kushida and the blonde guy but she was wearing black stockings on her legs.

"…" Yuuya blinked as he looked at the brown-haired boy who was sitting beside the girl, he also seemed to be held in place because of the same reason.

"Answer me," The girl's eyes narrowed as she same those words.

"…I wasn't looking at you," Yuuya answered flatly.

'The standard for appearances in this world is quite high, but I wonder if she does this every time?' Yuuya thought after seeing the girl's face. And a funny question was raised in his mind.

"Why are you denying it?" The girl didn't seem pleased at all.

Yuuya didn't bother with her and just showed pulled out his phone from his pocket before showing it to her.

'So, he was looking at the donut shop that was having a discount offer?' The boy thought as he saw the address of the shop, it seemed to match the place where the bus stopped a bit before going onto the bridge.

Yuuya put the phone back into his pocket and walked towards his school gate. He could see that the girl didn't have any intentions of saying anything further and he didn't have the energy to chastise her about her behavior.

'There are some weird school kids these days,'
