In Yamada's family residence, Raven walked in with a large bag on his back. A guard tried to stop him, but his friend intervened, saying, "He is the young miss's bodyguard."
Raven entered the room where Honoka was sitting with her mother and father, drinking tea. Suddenly, a young man's head appeared from the bag on the floor.
Raven calmly stated, "All done, Miss Yamada."
Honoka stood up, opened the bag, and saw the head with a smile. "Why is he so happy?" she inquired.
Raven smiled and replied, "Lucky for him, the last thing he saw was a beautiful woman in a nightgown waiting for him."
She laughed, "Lucky indeed."
The two older folks in the room didn't have much of a reaction, and they continued sipping their tea.
"Tomorrow I will call her for you. You have only tomorrow because after that, I need to go back," Honoka informed Raven.
Raven replied confidently, "I only need one day."
She smiled and closed the bag. "Let me get you a reward," she declared seductively.
The next day, Raven was in his room, wearing training clothes and practicing. His mind and body were in perfect harmony. He stood in the room, waiting for the arrival of a guest.
A teenage girl walked in, accompanied by a young girl and an older woman. All three of them were beautiful and eye-catching. The teenage girl had blue hair, sharp black eyes, and was wearing a black bodysuit with blue shorts and a white hoodie. The two older women were dressed in kimonos, with the younger one in blue and the older one in white.
Sensing the strong auras, Raven stood up and walked out to see what was happening. He found them sitting with cups of tea, alongside the Yamada family of three.
"Honoka, you sure dare to brag about this bodyguard of yours. If he's not as strong as you say, I will take offense," said Hinata, the young girl.
Honoka reassured her, "Don't worry, Himary will have fun today. He came specifically to fight her."
Himary was surprised, "Where is he from?" she asked.
"Phoenix Veil Society. My name is Raven Michell, 18 years old," Raven walked in and introduced himself.
Raven's eyes moved from the older woman because she had the strongest aura, then to the young woman. The older woman's aura was strong but weaker, and finally to Himary, whose aura was similar to Hina's, which was impressively strong for her age.
The older woman, Hama, asked, "Young man, why did you come all the way to Japan just to fight my daughter?"
Raven sat down next to Honoka and explained, "I didn't come here only for that. This is part of my training. Back at my academy, I won all my fights, but my two classmates with elemental abilities refused to fight me. So, I chose to find someone with an elemental ability to fight."
Hama nodded and asked, "But there are many different elemental abilities. Why here?"
Raven remained calm and replied, "Lightning, in my opinion, is the best element and the rarest. There are basically only two known people with this element, so fighting one of them first is the best choice. As for the others, there are plenty of them, and I can fight them later."
Himary smiled when she heard him praise her ability, recognizing that lightning was indeed one of the most powerful elements.
Hama, however, had a different question. "Why are you talking as if you're guaranteed to win?"
Raven's response was confident and composed. "If I don't win today, at least I will give a battle that will earn the respect of Miss Chiba. This way, it will grant me another opportunity for another spar. I don't want to be enemies with the Sakura Organization because I love Japan, and I will be visiting here often. That's why I chose to fight her in a friendly manner to achieve my objective while maintaining a neutral relationship."
Hinata was intrigued and asked, "Why settle for neutrality? Why not aim for friendship?"
Raven chuckled and responded, "There is no friendship between the strong and the weak. When I become strong enough, then maybe."
His answer surprised everyone, Hama included, who remarked, "Your power is close to Himary's, so you are by no means weak."
Raven side-glanced at Himary and stated, "She is the fiancée of the prince. He might see me as a competitor or a threat. This is far from what I want."
"I didn't know you were a coward, Mr. Michell," Hinata teased.
Raven smiled and explained, "It's not a matter of bravery or cowardice. I love Japan, maybe more than my own country. If he were the prince of any other country, I wouldn't care."
Hinata was surprised and asked, "Why Japan?"
Raven answered with a serious face, "I'm an anime fan."
Everybody stopped, not knowing how to react, as this revelation took them by surprise.
"Are you serious?" Hinata inquired.
Raven nodded, maintaining his serious tone. "Dead serious. If not for the fear of not enjoying my hobby here, I would have barged into the Sakura Organization, defeated some students, and then fought Miss Chiba. But that would make me the enemy of the most powerful organization in the country, thus banning me from entering. I can't afford that."
Hana, Himary, Honoka, and her parents were in disbelief.
Hinata was silent for a moment, and then she started laughing. "Hahaha, you are something else. I really like you now. Alright, Honoka, we didn't come here for nothing. Just knowing this guy is already fun."
Hana also smiled. "What's your ability, young man?"
Raven explained, "My ability is my eyes. It's actually something newly discovered, so no one knows. So far, it helps me understand, train, and remember anything I see."
Hana was surprised and jokingly said, "I thought it was a see-through ability because you keep avoiding my direction."
Raven smiled, "No, I can see auras of people. Yours is too overwhelming, so looking at you directly makes me feel threatened. I can't fight with my full power if my mind is already tired trying to withstand your pressure."
Hana and her two daughters were surprised yet again. Hinata asked, "Are you saying you can see how strong someone is and see their auras?"
Raven nodded. "How strong do you think I am compared to my mother and sister?" Hinata inquired.
Raven smiled and answered, "Stronger than your sister by at least six times, but weaker than your mother by at least ten times."
Himary was shocked to learn that her sister was that strong.
"Is my mother the strongest you've seen?" Hinata asked, curious despite her surprise.
Raven thought for a moment and replied, "No, there is one person much stronger. But his aura towards me was warm and kind, so I never felt the pressure."
Hana was surprised and asked, "My aura is not warm?"
Raven shook his head and said, "Yours is white. In fact, all the auras I see here are white. Miss Yamada has a slightly green aura, and Miss Chiba has a slightly red one. That means Miss Chiba might not like me very much, or she has some reason to be hostile, while Miss Honoka seems to have a friendly feeling towards me."
Himary was astonished that he noticed, but she was even more surprised that, despite recognizing it, he remained calm and continued to talk as if it were an ordinary observation.
Hama nodded in understanding. She also knew about aura abilities, and it was clear that Raven's eyes had the same ability. "Don't take it to heart, Himary hates all men, not just you," she clarified.
Raven responded nonchalantly, "I don't really care. I'm only seeking a fight, not friendship."
