Somewhere between third and fourth day

The door to the living room opens while my grandparents look out of the window and watch fireworks and I watch TV. A Torso floats serenely in the doorway. I almost spit out my drink.

( Really? This body? Couldn't you possess something else? I sleep with that.)

( Still, you could have used the TV or something. You didn't have to use her. I know I've given you a female voice and persona, but you're just a programm nonetheless.)

{ It was available and I was lazy, live with it}

( You could've at least stopped time, or my grandparents get a stroke or something if they see you floating there.)

Time freezes, no sound around, only I can still move and the body begins to float up and down.
