Chapter 78

" So you are finally here. " Gadjah said as he looked at the clover kingdom mages that arrive at the heart kingdom.

After Asta's trial, Julius sent each of them to the heart kingdom after learning that they were attacked and were destroyed in battle by Vanica.

Gadjah leads them to Lolopechka who welcomed them to the heart kingdom.

" Sorry for the short notice, but we really needed to have this meeting. " Lolopechka said.

" No. Actually, I need to thank you for asking Julius for help. If it went for this I would have been executed. " Asta sincerely.

" I see but why though? " Lolopechka asked.

" The royals of the clover kingdom wanted me dead because I have devil powers," Asta said.

" I see. But how did you get out of the trial? "

At the trial a few days ago, everyone in the room was telling the judge to kill off Asta because he was a devil.

Asta grits his teeth as he thought about what to say. He tried to explain but these people wouldn't listen.

" Who dares interrupt this trail?! "One of the royals yelled.

" That would be me. " Julius said as he entered.

" Wizard king Julius. Why are you here? " One of the royals asked.

" That's a question I should be asking you. Tell me when did I permit you to have this trial for one of my magic knights. " Julius asked coldly.

Everyone in the room froze. They didn't dare move. Even the judge didn't say anything.

" Go on. We have time. We have all the time in the world. Answer. " Julius demanded.

Everyone stayed silent till one spoke up.

" Because he's a devil. "

" Really. I never noticed. " Julius said. You could barely hear the sarcasm in his voice as it was masked by the cold tone.

" Do you think my decisions are incorrect? Do you think that I can't tell someone's personality to know when he is a threat to the kingdom or not? " Julius asked.

" No that's not it... "

" Then why have this trial. I'm still alive at this moment. I still have to take care of things and recently I have to deal with another problem that relates to this kingdom and the other kingdoms as well.

This trial is officially canceled. All charges that have been placed on Asta are nullified and if any of you try to do this behind my back again, you will face the consequences. Am I clear? " Julius asked.

Julie then turned and smiled at Yami.

' We are so fucked. ' Yami thought.

Lolopechka giggled a bit at the story while the clover kingdom knights stood there.

" I see. Well, it seems even Julius has a limit. Well, either way for now we need to go and train. I'll explain to you what the situation is inside. " Lolopechka said.

" Okay. So will we go now? " Noelle asked.

" Okay. We can get that removed. Eldens working on it. " Fox said.

" Excuse me, but who are you? " Asta asked.

"Hmm, we never meet, have we? Well, my name is Fox. I'm a diamond kingdom mage. A pleasure to meet all of you. " Fox said as she looked at everyone.

" Oh okay. By the way, how's Winter sensei doing? " Asta asked.

" She trained you right. She's doing well. Mostly preparing for the war we will have with the Spade kingdom. " Fox said.

" With that said though. I believe we wasted enough time. " Fox said as she walked away.

" Follow me. " Fox commanded as he made a gesture with her hand to follow her.

The clover kingdom mages followed Fox and training began.
