Chapter 40

' Seems like it's time for the plot to kick in. ' Elden thought as he looked at the report in his hands.

" Hmm, something happen? " Fox asked as she walked over to Elden.

She walked behind him and looked over his shoulder at the report.

" A dungeon was found nearby but is also close to the clover kingdom. That's the second time this happened. "

" Your right. I had a similar mission where I had meet Yami. Anyway, who should we send? I was thinking Mars, Fana, Mark, and Racheal." Elden said.

" Good choice. Fana and Mark have been complaining about having absolutely nothing to do and kept screaming that they were bored. "

" True. Well, that's it then. Let's send them. " Elden stated.

" A dungeon!! " Fana and Mark yelled in union.

" Yes! Something to do!! I was so bored for the past couple of days!! " Fana exclaimed.

" Yep. Not much to do. I counted my money over and over but got bored. Either way I hope there is gold there. " Mark said with a dreamy expression on his face.

" Sigh his love of money will never go away. " Rachael said.

" Yep. " Mars said.

" Well in glad that you guys are excited because more so than that the dungeon is located close to the clover kingdom." Elden said.

" Seriously. Well, that will be interesting. Who will they send? " Fana asked.

" Probably the new magic knights. They will send them so they get experience. " Mars said.

" True. Well, I hope they will be interesting at least. " Mark said in a thinking position.

" Well either way you'll meet them soon. So you guys ready. "

" Yep. " Fana said with a smile. The others nodded as they agreed with her.

" Alright. " Elden said as he opened a portal.

They walked through the portal and ended up at the location of the Dungeon.

"Let's see what this dungeon has in store for us. " Fana said excitedly.

" Fana slow down. Let's take our time. " Rachael said as she caught up to Fana.

" That includes you as well Mark. " Rachael yelled at Mark.

" Yeah yeah. " Mark said as he sighed. Mars said nothing as he had a small smile on his face as he followed them.

" A dungeon!! " Asta yelled as he looked at Yami.

" Yep. The wizard king decided to send you, the bratty princess, and the speedy battle maniac to the dungeon as training. " Yami said as he pointed at Asta, Noelle, and Luck respectively.

" Yes we have another mission and it was given by the wizard king himself. " Asta said excitedly.

" Well, there be any strong opponents there?! " Luck asked.

" The only condition you'll be having is the team from the golden dawn. Either way that's all the info I have, get whatever you need and Finral will send you there.

Imma go take a dump. " Yami said as he yawned, got up, and walked away.

" Well, I already everything I need. Finral send us there now!! " Asta yelled.

" Shut up! " Noelle yelled as he hit Asta on the head.

" I still need to get something. Just wait for a bit. " Noelle said as she walked away.

" But was it necessary to hit me? " Asta asked.

" Yes! " Noelle yelled from down the hall.

...

" So this is a dungeon!!! " Asta yelled as he looked around with stars in his eyes.

Noelle ignored Asta as she looked around in awe. The dungeon was beautiful from her perspective a she looked at the scenery.

"Let's go look around! " Asta yelled as he walked forward.

" Wait no idiot don't!! " Noelle yelled but it was too late as Asta stepped on a magic circle.

" Ahhhhh.... " Asta and Noelle yelled as they got trapped in some vines. They were lifted into the air as they screamed.

Thinking fast Asta took out his anti-magic sword and cut through the vines and threw his sword at the magic circle, canceling it.

* thud *

Asta landed on the ground while holding Noelle who got off him while blushing a little.

" What was that??!! " Asta yelled.

" A trap. " Luck said. " This dungeon is filled with magic circles that act as traps. Like this one. "

Luck then went and stepped on one and ran away as the trap activated and attacked.

Asta screamed as he quickly destroyed the trap but Luck didn't stop as he activated more traps.

" Ahahahahhhaha... " Luck laughed as he activated more traps.

" Luck stop!! " Noelle said as she avoided more vines as Asta cut them down.

" No can... " Luck suddenly stopped as he looked in another direction. A battle-crazed smile appeared on his face as he activated his magic.

Boots and Gloves made of lightning appeared on his body as he rushed forward.

" Luck where are you going!!?!? " Asta yelled.

" There is a strong opponent here. I'm going to go fight them!! " Luck yelled in excitement as he disappeared into the dungeon.

" Dammit Luck!! " Noelle said as she covered Asta from another vine while Asta stopped another trap.

...

" Finally it's all over!! " Asta yelled in delight as they stopped all the traps.

" Nice job Asta you improved in a short time. " Asta looked up towards the familiar voice and grinned.

" Of course I have Yuno. I ain't going to stop even for a day. " Asta yelled as he looked at Yuno who floated down to greet him.

Noelle looked at Yuno as she raised her guard up remembering his performance at the magic knight exam.

" Yuno you know these heathens from the black bulls. " Said another voice.

" Who are you calling heathens four eyes?!! " Asta yelled at the guy with glasses.

" You can't even respect your seniors. Heathen."

" How am supposed to respect if I don't even know who you are four eyes?! " Asta yelled.

" Yuno who is he? " Asta asked.

" This is Klaus. He is my senior from the golden dawn. " Yuno said.

" Oh okay. " Asta said. " Nice to meet you four eyes. "

"It's Klaus. Anyway wasn't there supposed to be another person from the black bulls? "

" Yep but he ran because there was a strong opponent near bye. " Asta said.

" Can't even lead the newbies. " Klaus said in distain.

" Well whatever Yuno, Mimosa let's go. " Klaus said.

Mimosa stopped talking to Noelle and walks up to her team as they soon left.

Meanwhile, with Luck he soon arrived at the center of the dungeon as he looked ahead with a large maniac smile at the large magic signatures he sensed.

" Hmm, a member from the black bulls. " Mars said as he looked at Luck.

" Yep and it seems he's a battle maniac. You want fight us don't you? " Fana asked him.

" Yep. "

" Well then, that's fine. I'll fight you then. " Fana said as she walked forward.

Lucks smile widened as he got ready. Mars, Rachael, and Mark stood where they were as they got ready to watch.
