Experiment and The White Dragon (Revised)

Two weeks have gone by since the mini war took place.

During that period a number of things have happened.

First of all Irina finally returned to the Vatican with the Excalibur fragments and Valper's body. But as for Xenovia she stayed in Kuoh Town.

Other rather she didn't have a choice. Just like in canon she was excommunicated after informing the top brass of the church that she knew God was dead.

But unlike in canon since Irina knew the truth earlier she didn't fault her friend for her decision. Instead they shared a passionate hug at the airport before our resident twin-tails departed.

As for our blue-haired Durandal wielder she asked me if she could stay at my mansion and I said yes. But I told her she would have to attend school, and she agreed saying she wanted to try it. She also finally revealed Durandal to us and her status as a natural holy sword user.

This led to her and Lancelot sparring quite often, with Jeanne joining in as well.

The three of them have come close.

In other news Kiba obtained his balance breaker.

Once he got the light container I took from Valpers' corpse and the notes about his friends souls being trapped inside of it the power of friendship activated somehow or another, and he finally gained his [Sword of the Betrayer].

Good for him. Now he can stop eyeing my friends with hateful glares just because they can use holy swords. He was getting extremely annoying and was going to get himself killed, but thanks to my generosity he gets to live a little while longer.

Also I wanted the spirits inside the light container to get some peace before they passed on.

I am an asshole, but I'm not a monster. I would never take away the chance for the spirits of children to find closure. I couldn't look myself in the mirror if I did.

Moving on, Issei isn't a virgin anymore.

One day he came into class with a proud look on his face, Asia following behind him limping with a tomato face.

The Red Dragon pervert said nothing, which honestly I found amazing, but he didn't have to. He had the glow of adulthood around him.

And that day when I took Valerie to meet with Gasper Rias had the same glow.

Telling me he took my advice and finally had sex.

Good, now he won't perv out on Akeno. And if he does I will goug out his eyes with a rusty blade several times.

The boy needs to learn.

Anyway, other than that things have been pretty peaceful.

The only thing I have really been doing is preparing for the upcoming Peace Summit.

Oh, and I also learned the supernatural world is calling me The Vampire of the Blue Moon.

I like it.

After all, you really can't be a badass without a cool moniker attached.

And I love the moniker I have.

Even is some people think it is edgy.

Walking through the streets of Kuoh Town I arrived at a mansion.

Morgan, Lancelot, Jeanne, and Xenovia along for the ride.

Going right up to the door I knocked.

Then a second later it was opened. Azazel standing there in a dark purple kimono. "Kufa, glad you could make it. Come on in." He said.

So we all went in, Azazel closing the door behind us.

He had invited us here today because he wanted our help with one of his experiments, but I don't know what the hell it is going to entail.

I just hope it's nothing too outrageous. With Azazel you never know.

After Azazel closed the door he led us deeper into his home. He then took us into a room that was bigger on the inside. Once we entered we saw various inventions lying around, telling us this was his laboratory.

The governor-general looked at us. "So, can I get you kids anything to drink?"

"I'm good." I said.

"I would like some water." Jeanne said.

"I'm fine." Lancelot mused.

"The same." Morgan said, looking at all of Azazel's projects spread out all over the place.

I shudder to think what would happen if she and him started collaborating. They just might destroy the world unintentionally.

Xenovia didn't say anything. She just stood there her mouth agape. This is her first time meeting a faction leader after all, and one who until just recently was part of her mortal enemies. She's definitely in shock.

I went over to her and used my hand to close her mouth. That snapped her out of her daze.

As for Azazel he paid it no mind. He just went over to a mini fridge and then tossed Jeanne a bottle of water which she started drinking with a vigor.

Meanwhile I decided to get things started.

"So Azazel, why did you call us here today?" I asked.

"The date for the peace summit for the biblical factions has been set. Also it is happening right here in Kuoh Town." He revealed.

"Makes sense." I said. "This is where the major events have taken place after all."

"Yes." Azazel mused, rubbing his goatee. "So anyway before the talks officially begin I want to test a invention I believe will go a long way to promoting peace." He explained. Azazel then reached onto the desk behind him and revealed playing cards to us, only all of them were black in color. "I call this the Fallen Saint System. Using these cards one should be able to turn an ordinary human into a Fallen Angel, just like with the devils Evil Piece System."

I whistled. I never expected Azazel to make the Angels' Brave Saint System his own. And now that I know this I can guess why he wanted me to bring Jeanne and the others today.

"I researched evil pieces I collected from stray devils to develop this system." Azazel said. "And I am also planning to gift something similar to the angels to they can also bolster their numbers. But there is still one big thing I am missing."

"A successful case, right?" Jeanne mused.

Azazel nodded. "Right you are little miss D'Arc. Although I say the Fallen Saint system can be used I actually haven't used it on anyone yet. If things go wrong I want the recipient to have the best possible chance of surviving, that's why I called you all here today. I would like for you all to test the system out, but if you say no I completely understand." He explained.

"I'll do it." Jeanne said, stepping up.

"Oh, interesting." I mused.

Jeanne, Lancelot, and Morgan opted out of being turned into vampires. They wanted to stay human, yet Jeanne is now volunteering for an experientable procedure to become a fallen angel.

I don't get it.

"Jeanne, why do you want to do this?" I asked her.

"I want to get stronger." Jeanne said. "And I know humans can only go so far. I did not want to be a vampire, but being a fallen angel doesn't sound so bad. Not to mention if this does work like the evil pieces system then I can get a longer-lifespan. Which will allow me to stay with you all, my friends for a long time." She said.

I wanted to tell her Valerie can just make her an immortal body, but she's resolved her. I can see it in her eyes. So I will allow her to do the experiment.

However if anything goes wrong I will rush Valerie here immediately and beat the shit out of Azazel.

"If Jeanne is doing it than so am I." Lancelot said.

"Being a fallen does sound interesting." Morgan mused. "I will do it."

"Me as well." Xenovia said.

"Alright then." Azazel said. "Please line up in front of me." He asked them.

The four of them then lined up standing side-by-side.

Right after they were done Azazel walked up to Jeanne and pulled a card from the deck. He then placed it right in front of her chest, and the card entered it a moment later.

Then purple energy pulses started appearing across Jeanne's body, until finally a moment later.

*Shu*

Black feathers stared falling on the floor, as six fallen angel wings popped out of Jeanne's back.

"Oh, six wings already. Impressive." Azazel said.

"It's really nothing at all for her." I spoke. Unlike devils angels and fallen angels strength is determined by the number of wings they possess. Their strength before reincarnation also plays a big part, so Jeanne having six wings right off the bat is do to her strength she has accumulated so far.

"I like this." Jeanne said, moving her wnigs.

While she did that Azazel moved to Lancelot and a card entered his chest. He then also sprouted six wings from his back.

Next up was Morgan who sprouted four.

Finally Xenovia only sprouted two.

Even so the experiment looks like a success. The Fallen Saint system works.

"Thank you all for your help." Azazel said.

"No problem." Lancelot said. "Oh and one more thing. Does the Fallen Saint system have a king?"

"No it doesn't" Azazel answered.

We all looked at him in confusion when he said that.

"Why doesn't the fallen saint system have a king function?" I asked.

Azazel smirked when I did. "Simple. It would be boring if I just followed the devils tune all the way. I wanted to put my own spin on things. Besides we fallen angels fell in the first place because of our desires, and what kind of guy would I be if I didn't let people follow their own?" He mused.

I stared at a Azazel with a blank expression. "So basically what you're saying is you didn't add the king function to the fallen saints on a whim?"

"You know me so well Kufa." Azazel said. He then let out a hearty laugh.

Meanwhile I simply shrugged my shoulders.

Azazel never changes.

Two days have passed since Jeanne and the others became the first reincarnated fallen.

Everyone was shocked, but they quickly came to terms with it.

Naturally Rias, Sona, and their peerages didn't know a thing. Azazel asked us to keep it a secret until the summit and so we did.

The others really love their new powers. They've been training non-stop.

Which is why I am on my way to school with just Gin and Valerie.

The three of us continued on our path until we all suddenly stopped.

That's because we felt a powerful energy right in front of us. We moved to investigate it.

As soon as we did we saw a guy standing on the bridge. He has silver-hair, blue eyes, and a black leather jacket with green pants. He looks like a delinquent who is skipping class. But I knew better than that.

"Isn't that-

'-Yeah." I interrupted Gin. "It is." I said. "Take it easy you two I got this." I told them.

They both nodded.

Seeing that I walked forward.

Once I did Vali Lucifer opened his eyes and acknowledged my presence.

"So tell me, what is the White Dragon Emperor doing in Kuoh Town?" I asked.

"I just came to great my destined rival." Vali casually spoke. "But it looks like I have stumbled onto an even bigger prize. Kufa Vampir, also known The Vampire of The Blue Moon. Let's fight."

I have never fought Vali before.

However I'm not going to pass up the opportunity.

"Sure." I told him.

The two of us then grinned like maniacs at each other.
