The Siege of the Ashura God Clan

A heated debate was occurring in a vast hall, softly lighted with purple flames. The vast hall contained statues of 10 different individuals. Each statue exuded an air of majesty and dignity. A throne was located at the end of the hallway. It was composed of skulls, and it was clear that each skull belonged to a distinct race. Human skulls, dragon skulls, and skulls that were difficult to identify due to excessive damage were all present. This hall exuded an extraordinarily gloomy and antiquated vibe. It was obvious that this hall had endured through many centuries.

This hall was where the major decisions regarding the Ashura God Clan were decided and where the higher echelon of the Ashura clan would convene when any major event took place. Ashura clan was an apex power among the human race. It had existed ever since the human race came into prominence. Ever since it had stood as a major power and had survived many great eras

The patriarch of the Ashura God Clan's seventh generation was the person who was now seated on the throne. As he continued to hear the most recent news about the conflict that the Ashura clan was currently involved in, he had a frown on his face.

"Tell me about the state of the arrays that safeguard our Clan. These arrays have been in place for many eras; breaking through them would cost a fortune so great that no single clan can bear it alone. Not even if two or three great clans come together to break it "The patriarch of the Ashura clan asked the elders a question.

Patriarch, this is because the Celestial clan has used their Formation Breaking Chaos Drum in conjunction with Abyssal bone of Undying sovereign of the undead race to break most of the offensive formations of our clan. Even the Spiritas clan has involved themselves in the offensive against us. The elders from the true dragon race even brought out the Indestructible Spear of Dragon God to weaken the attacks from our offensive formations. If they continue the offensive with the same intensity, our clan-protecting formations and arrays won't last long.I expect they will fully break our defences in 3 years at max....", the elder responsible for intel gathering and clandestine operations replied.

"Right now, there's not much we can do about this. There was still a chance to protect our ancestral home if it were only three or four clans, but as of late, every significant clan and race on the continent has chosen to oppose my Ashura clan. Going into battle right now would only result in a pointless death. I've already made up my mind that we shall fortify our lines of defence with all of the tools at our disposal. Even we lost many clansmen when we took it out of worlds-end ruin. In ancient records, we have researched that this artefact is called the-Chaotic Relic of Absolute Nihility or simply the Bead Of Primordial Nihility. It has many secrets hidden in it and it should be capable of stabilizing the karmic luck of the clan or a sect that possesses it but now as the current situation remains, it looks like this great treasure has brought destruction and downfall to our clan. Were the records left by ancestors wrong?...." Grand elder asked with a very vexed expression. One could feel the frustration in his voice.

Fortunately, we have in possession a talisman and an array that can be used together to increase the chances of success. This talisman has to be inscribed on a newborn baby with the help of an array powered by at least 12 elders, with the help of this formation and array we can seal it within the consciousness of a newborn. It will also result in half refinement of the relic and the rest of the refinement can take place as the baby grows up. How much time it would take to fully refine it, I am not sure about that. We can use this method but we will have to sacrifice a part of cultivation if we want this procedure to be successful.....".

We should have him inherit the original legacy left by our founding ancestor and then we can start the process of sealing the --Nihility Bead .....".Since Patriarch and Grand elder were of the same opinion, no one had any objections to this decision. Besides this was not the time to think about personal interests. This matter was of utmost importance to the clan. Any mistake now would have far reach repercussions

"Okay, now that this matter has been decided, I will give each of you the specifics of the divine talisman and the array. Make the required preparations; we must act quickly. We won't have much time with our adversaries..." There was no need to remain undecided because the decision had already been made.
