UNTANGLING THE HEART

Cristine's POV

As i went inside i freshened up....i touched the necklace he gave me.. somehow i don't wanna admit it but i felt warmth when i was with him...his presence made me feel light and less stressed...maybe he is jennie's brother that's why...same siblings aura...right?? nothing else i guess??

I sighed and laid down on the bed...i was thinking of how he handled my every mood whether it was my anger, coldness, sadness or rudeness...his behaviour remained the same.... calm.. why??i can feel he has the same feelings that i had for kai..but..why am i afraid?? perhaps he is right that I'm making walls??

Cristine: FORGET IT !! You can't fall for him otherwise u will lose ur bet Cristine..!! just sleep..

Next day cristine was signing off some files when jennie stormed in..

Jennie: How was the date????did u kissed?

Cristine: Are u out of mind? it was first date !!

Jennie: Then it means u will kiss him in second one?? its fine i don't have any problems people do alot of things

Cristine: Do u wanna get fired ??

Jennie: Whatever do u remember that girl Nancy once i told u about??

Cristine: Oh yeah that lady who is head over heals for u brother..

Cristine said smirking sarcasticly

Jennie: Last night she saw u and Russel together..

Cristine: So what??

She said with unbothered expressions..

Jennie: She wants to meet u ..

Cristine: And. what made her think that i will follow her orders??

She said chuckling darkly

Jennie: Actually she told this to our mom and now our mom wants to meet u too

Cristine: Hmm fair enough i will talk about it with russel then i will see

Jennie: Ooooo taking permissionss huh??

Cristine: i don't need anyone's permission to do anything its just ur family that's why nothing else!

Jennie: Yeah yeah...give me those files i am ur assistant..

Cristine: Thank god u know that

It was evening... Cristine completes her work and was coming downstairs when she saw Russel

Cristine: What??

Russel: So Jennie told u about it..??

Cristine: Yeah kind off..do u have any problem if i go??

Russel: As long as u r going with me they won't hurt u

Cristine: I am not afraid of ur part time girl friend..

Russel: Listen to me carefully! she is nothing to me got it?? i only have one women in my heart and thats you...stop combining my name with others..

He said a bit angrily taking Cristine off guard..

Cristine: Fine calm down i didn't mean to make u mad..

She said a bit slowly..

Russel: I m not mad at u

He said while grumping

Cristine: Wanna coffee??

Russel: Will u count it as a date??

Cristine: Do u want to count it as ??

Russel: No !!

Cristine: Take a seat in the car then

Russel: YEAHH !! I WILL BE A PASSENGER PRINCESS !!

Cristine: Are u crack or something??

She said while laughing while Russel swayed his imaginary long hairs with femine energy

Cristine: You really are a drama queen tho !!

Russel: I can be anything u want for you !!

He said a wink while she laughed it off and they drove off to cafe..they were having their coffee when she asked him..

Cristine: Can i ask u something if u don't mind??

Russel: Hmm??

He said with a soft smile..

Cristine: Jennie never told me about ur father... whenever i asked her she gets uncomfortable..is there something wrong??

Russel sighed and sipped his coffee..

Russel: He..he..uhhh..u can say that he wasn't good for us..

she looked at him with confused eyes..

Russel: My parents divorced because he cheated on my mother...My mother gone through such hard situations..still she loved him...but her love destroyed her... Jennie don't know about it but the lady whom she call mom is her aunt... mom's sister... she is taking care of us...more like she is enjoying this luxurious life...she love jennie because she is innocent and don't know about her real intentions..

Cristine: Real intentions?

Russel: She wants to take over our company that was started by mom...mom named that companies inheritance under mine and jennie's name...jennie has more shares so if she will make jennie on her good side... company could be her's...

Cristine: i won't let that happen...jennie deserve the world..

Russel: Don't worry her brother is here!! When aunt will meet u she will taunt u alot..

Cristine: I don't care...i can taunt her more than she could imagine..

Russel laughed at her sassy side a bit..

Cristine: Guess u r not that bad..

She looked at him softly and then sipped her coffee..

Russel: falling for me??

He said expecting her to brush it off like always she do..

Cristine: Giving a chance is not that bad .

Russel was shocked and happy at the same time ...he was looking like a kid that his toy..She said that as she sipped coffee while holding her smile...

Russel: SERIOUSLY!!????

Cristine:Calm down i just gave u chance i m still not ur gf yet..

Russel: Atleast its better than ur coldness..!!!!AHHHH

He hugged her happily...while she was shocked due to sudden skinship..

Russel: I will pay u sit queen!!!

Cristine laughed

Cristine: This man really is insane..

They both spent their rest of the time while laughing and talking about other stuffs.. Cristine decided to drop him at home..
