"I decided to support you this time," grandfather Fletcher abruptly said, shocking Kyle and Ria.

Honestly, they didn't expect him to be this generous. Grandfather Fletcher never supported favoritism!!

"But, this would be the first and last time I am going to be biased towards you, Kyle. I am doing this out of respect for your grandparents. As the young woman here suggested, my support for you will only last for six months. Rest will be depending on your own capabilities" grandfather Fletcher added.

"Thank you so much, sir. I will really try my best" Kyle gratefully thanked. He couldn't believe that grandfather Fletcher had actually agreed to his request.

But little he knows that the reason behind it is Ashley, his classmate and also the only cherished granddaughter of this old man.

She persuaded her grandfather to give him a chance. As the doting grandfather, grandfather Fletcher could only cave in to her request. She never asked him for anything, except this…

Her eyes twinkled when she looked at Kyle who was smiling happily.

He is her long crush. Many of the girls in their school have a crush on him and she is one of them, infact, her crush goes deeper than that.

Even grandfather Fletcher knows about that.

However, before she could confess her feelings to Kyle, her best friend Maggie announced shocking news.

Although it was hard on her, she tried to accept the reality and she is still trying to do so.

Being close to both of them she often encounters them being lovey dovey. Nothing felt worse than being the third wheel but she had no choice.

She is not a cunning person who snatches someone else's boyfriend. So, she could only suffer silently.

"I am thinking the same," Ria immediately said and when her eyes accidentally collided with Felix's, they immediately averted their eyes.

Felix coughed and Ria focused all her attention on her plate as if nothing else mattered to her.

After dinner, Anna suddenly got a call and she excused herself and went outside, for a stroll in the garden.

As it is work related, she didn't dare to take the call inside the house.

Finding the secluded corner, she answered the call.

"I am about to call you after returning back," she told the person on the other side.

"Oh. So, where are you now?" the person on the other side asked.

"Came out to have dinner with family friends" Anna briefly answered.

"Family friends?" that person asked, surprised that she is using that term. As someone close to her, he is aware of how much she hates her grandparents.

"Yeah, I can put it in that way but we are actually here to stabilize Kyle's position in the company" Anna answered casually.

"Ann, are you staying there for a while?" that person asked, at last coming to the main point.

"Yes, I am," Anna answered.

"So, we might not be able to meet each other for a while?" that person asked, his voice filled with longing for her.
