With You?!

*gasp*

Being startled awake I turn my head from side to side taking in the decor of my apartment room.

Sitting up in my bed I whip my head to my window after hearing a knock, moving over to my window drawing the curtains back to see the one and only partner of mine.

Unlocking my apartment window and letting him into my room I stare at him with annoyance, moving back into my room.

Aimi: "why are you here?"

Satsujin: "oh wow she talks, anyway where is your TV?"

I roll my eyes and motion my way over to a screen on the wall as I press the small red button to turn it on.

Looking towards the screen as my untrusty partner Satsujin flicks through the stations stopping on.

Aimi: "the news? why would i wa-"

Satsujin: "Shush!!"

He turns the volume up and on the news there is a report of a wealthy businessman saluted in his top city apartment.

Staring at the screen with absolute no emotion feeling my partners eyes staring at me, I turn my head to him and then roll my eyes as I see his eyes fully open and mouth agape.

Satsujin: "we have to inspect the crime scene you know that right!"

Listening to his words I just shrug the slouch back until I grew a smirk on my face, standing up and motioning over to my wardrobe.

Satsujin: "again don't smile like that its really creepy"

My face instantly changes and I just stay silent as I grab out an official black and blue police officer shirt and pants.

Taking my original clothing off I pull on the pants and then I start to unbutton my shirt feeling my partners eyes on me I grab a long brown jacket and throw it at him along with a brown hat, pulling on my police officer uniform and stand in front of my partner.

Aimi: "put the jacket on, we need to leave now"

Walking out of my apartment building and towards my car I get in the drivers side and sit there as I wait for that ridiculous baboon to get here.

As Satsujin walks out in a long brown jacket and brown hat he looks exactly how i want him too.

Driving through the busy city towards the crime scene apartment I get stopped at multiple lights then listen to some people who waved to me but I simply ignored them as they walked the road.

Continuing to drive I then pull up at the apartment building that the wealthy businessman was murdered at and stopped the car as i got out and walked straight to the police tape and walked under it as a police officer stopped me and my partner.

Holding up my badge to the police officer i continued walking with my partner Satsujin behind me,

We made it into the apartment building and my partner and I walked to the security room out the back of the reception area, and I got Satsujin to show his detective badge to the officers that were in there.

When the police officers left I locked the security room door and then sat at the desk, scanning all the footage from yesterday around the time that I entered the building, deleting the files that had me in the picture, using my gloves to type not to leave a fingerprint.

Getting out of the files and standing up I take my USB and walk out of the security room, making my way to the elevator with my partner close behind me I look ay his hands that are trembling.

Aimi: "stop shaking, your fine"

*sighs*

Aimi: "have you never done an undercover mission before?"

Satsujin: "no I don't and can't do everything you can!"

Giggling I just step out of the elevator as we make it to the penthouse top floor and while we walk a little down the hall we come across some police officers that were covering a body so I come to a halt and smirk but then turn serious.

Aimi: "I'm officer snow, this is detective Satsu.... we are investigating the crime that was committed here"

Satsujin: "if you may, we would like to see the victims."

The police officers do as they say as i show them my badge and i look down at the dead man on the floor, I look at Satsujin and a glimpse of knowing in my eyes show.

Aimi: "so detective Satsu it looks like the victim too a deep gash to the throat as his height and body build was immense was un protected and unprepared, he positively underestimated his opponent."

Satsujin nodded and then continued walking as he took the hint and got more comfortable into his character as the detective, looking around and stepping over to the main bedroom that was left untouched so I started to look around my USB in hand right as my eyes stop at a small the USB plug behind the cupboard the main door flew open and my eyes rolled.

Aimi: "if your trying to scare me then you need to get better at it"

Turning around to look at Satsujin and I raise an eyebrow.

Aimi: "close the door I found it!"

With Satsujin closing the door I put my USB into the USB port and press the red button next to it.

Aimi: "now we play the waiting game"

Silence filled the room and I was just staring out the massive window from inside the master bedroom down to the streets.

Satsujin: "don't think I wanna know but, how did you get these uniforms?"

Aimi: "I was working to target an enemy mafia and the police girl and her partner the detective got in my way, so I killed all loose ends"

I explain my voice monotone and my eyes deadpanned, hearing a small ping I then go back to the cupboard with my USB behind it.

Pressing the green button on the opposite side to the red then pulling out the USB I place it in my shoe and walkout of the master bedroom with Satsujin close behind me staring at me as his face looked scared.
