In Hell…

Lucifer rejoiced at the scene of sufferings surrounding him. Souls were ripped apart, burnt and tortured. And the king of darkness only laughed. And sometimes yawn when he is not amused.

A demon came rushing to him bearing news. That only reached the Devils ear.

The monster clenched his fist tightly and banged it on the hand-rest of its throne.

"Where is my son now?"

"He is at the holy grounds my lord." his minion answered almost twisting it's own body in fear.

"Bring him back to me now. But don't alarm the heavens. I'll think of what to do with him later."

Lucifer drew a ball of fire in one of his hand. And threw it on the tortured soul infront. That even his descendant was burnt to ashes. But he didn't care the least. For him, it was just a worthless follower. A soul that was once human and had committed sins that is beyond forgiveness. It became a demon on its own accord.

Azalel once again slipped his way to the holy ground without being noticed. Eager as he was to see the Angel guarding the gates of Eden. He can't risk himself being caught. For it will ruin his chances of getting close to his beloved Muriel.

Through the garden gates. He saw Muriel talking to the small animals. He didn't have his sword around.

Muriel had the brightest smile that's not inferior to the sun. He didn't feel down when thinking of it all the time.

"Master, I have been looking everywhere for you." he rolled his eyeball as Lucas popped up behind him. "A demon informed your father about your fancying on one of God's descendants."

"What?"

"He ordered the spy demons to bring you back as soon as posible. That's why I came."

He turned to look at the playful face of the archangel. It seems, he won't be able to see him for a long time. For his father would definitely lock him up. And have him torture for his impudence.

"We better leave now, or there will be war soon." Lucas warned him of what could happen if they were both caught by the angels.

He had no choice but to leave . And fear that he might never see this being again.

"I'll find a way to get to you one way or the other." he said whispering a voice that could travel to the air. And reach the angels ears.

As he left, the words reached Uriel that left a delicate smile on its lips.

"And I shall wait for your return." Uriel uttered to himself.

One of the little animals looked up at him. Wearing a puzzled look.

For Azalel, physical torture seemed like a mere tickle on his bones. It would itch with pain every now and then. But nothing more.

Though missing Muriel's smile is likely to be the hardest thing for him.

After his mortal mother died in his father's hands. Happines for him became a thing of the past.

And though his father let him do whatever he wanted. It should only be to meet his standards.

"Have I really spoiled you too much. That you went on chasing one of God's archangels? Are you really out of your devil mind?"

He laughed in an exhausted manner. As the whipping only stopped when his father entered the dungeon.

"If I was being a good boy, then I wouldn't be your son, Am I? You should be proud instead."

Instead of humoring his father. Lucifer ended up the one whipping his own devil son.

Everyone around wanted to just disappear. As Azalel was whinning in a way that no demon can take to hear.

Lucifer is indeed the king of darkness. For he didn't even let his only son slip in his own punishment.

As he stopped whipping. Azalel almost had his skin torn into pieces. Lashes looked like a zebra's strife. Only in color of blood.

"Don't you ever defy me again. Or I'll have your beloved angel assasinated. So that you wouldn't have anyone to look after. Like I did your Mother."

Azalel's eyes lit up fire of rage.

He easily broke the chains that once saddled him to the execution platform.

He landed on the ground and had almost eaten dust. But his anger was beyond his ego. More than his will to end his father's life.

Sadly, he was too weak and exhausted from the beatings earlier. That neither could he lift his head.

Lucifer walked up to him squatting to even their sight.

"You want to fight me?" he said lifting Azalel's chin in his claw like finger. "Killing you is as easy as smashing a fly on my toes. But I think it would be better to have your angel die in a war that I will start soon."

"A war?"

"Yes, a war. And I wouldn't have you messing with my plans. With your nonsense talk of love."

"I swear, if you ever lay a finger on him. I will destroy everything you have ever built here and on earth."

"Do try. I shall wait for that day. Where you could actually hurt me. But for now, do stay still and wait for my great news." lucifer stood laughing. " Wether it is my triumph against God. Or the death of your Angel." he said while leaving.
