CHAPTER 2: ENCOUNTER
The devils runs on the halls making edward chases after them, lihan realize they took "adrian" on of their friends. Lihan runs faster and quicker than a normal human can do, he takes a short cut by climbing up to the window.he took a javelin in their gym and it was tied on his back, he smashes the window stopping the demon who is holding adrian and behind it was edward.
Lihan throws the javelin really strong that it pierced on its head, unable to move edward was about to chant "Triple threat winds", he was blown away with a shock wave from the demon using its muscle memory. It charged into lihan, wounding him with his sharp teeth, lihan's guts was spilling out and groaning in pain. Edward was concerned and his anger doubles against the demons, lihan shouted "Forget about me! Save adrian, help is on the way!!". Edward had second thoughts but if he doesn't focus many will die instead of one and he leaves lihan chasing his breath.
"Let's go! Spirit owl!, Cloud jumper!".
A sword made out of a high pressured wind that can cut into anything forms on edwards bare hands. He chases after them meanwhile lihan sees a dead demon laying on the ground. He crawls slowly and absorbs its life force putting it in his hand, making it into a glowing red meatball. He swallowed it without hesitation, consuming it had side effects. He was given a memory about the demon who tortured and killed people mercilessly, he had a mental breakdown and grabs his head and folds.
While calming down he, his wounds heal and felt light yet powerful, he feels the adrenaline and the intensity. He stands up and tries to hear where they are, his senses were enhanced too feeling every step of them, hearing the shouts and their breaths, smelling their scents. He knows where they are heading, instead of the exit they're going up from the roof. Edward kills of the remaining the one demon limping calling the guy on the top, sitting on the roof, the guy kills the demon and said "Useless idiots, im surrounded by idiots!".
"Tell me about me about..." edward spoked.
"So you're the silver wolves member in disguise, thats why i sensed a strong presence here in school." The guy said to edward.
"Let's-" the guys face tasted a right hook from lihan, sending him to spin in mid air.
Lihans overwhelming devil energy of presence gives edward chills down his spine, lihan shouted at edward that the guy isn't just a normal demon, he sensed that the guy is a strong. Edward said "What?! A code red demon?!!!", the guy's face turns into a demon and used hes ability "Telekenesis". Getting ready to fight, edward took out his "mana talesman" to call for back up, the headquarters received the call and gives the call to john and lucius while eating noodles in a ramen restaurant kilometers away from the kawa university.
John: "Oh shit, it's a first time seeing edward's helpless ass calling for help."
Lucius: "That means its real shit, we have to go!" He drags john out of the restaurant.
John: "But my seafood ramen!!!!-"
Back from the roof top, the school became wrecked because of their fight. Lihan gaves the demon a tasty left and right with his ultimate upper cut. Sending the demon stunned on the air, edward chants "Twin fangs" two violent hurricanes. The demon was wounded, it released a intense shock waves, knocking him back to the wall. He was unable to move and all the sudden he was saved by lihan, lihan noticed that edward was tired and weakened with bruises.
Lihan sees another dead body a demon, he kept the devil busy while forming his edible orb. As it was formed completely, he swallowed without hesitation. Feeling the power his physical power enhance's again, he punches the demon with intense force again.
He forms aether on his fist. As his aether hit it there were no time for the devil to react, the devil explodes spilling and splatting blood. Edward couldn't believe that lihan, a devil, has saved him, lihan made sure if edward was fine. "He can control the ower of devils by consuming them..." he said in his mind, lihan was kicked by john sending him flying.
John: "Is this dawg bugging you, edward?"
Edward: "Stand down, john, he's not a foe."
Lucius: "Foe? He is a demon, we should execute him."
Lihan sees adrian running away, he was relieved then john confronts him and said "A pest like you don't deserve to live.". Lihan explained but john didn't care because once you have a devil energy you're considered as a devil. John charges left and right taking his long sword out and slashes lihan, lihan surpasses his speed making him more irritated and more competetive.
"You're too early to be my rival!!" John shouted.
He used his slayer mark which enhance's his skills and speed, when lucius was about to cast he was stopped by edward who was all healed up. He was getting recovered slowly by his wind healing magic, lucius wanted to know whats the meaning of this and edward said "I'm just paying for his sympathy to me and helping.". The two were determined amd they started dueling with magic, john kicked lihan sending him flying. He throws his sword and lihan ducked, the sword gets back on johns hands and swings on lihan's blind spot.
Lihan contorts his body and flips, he gave john a kicked too. Lihan follows up with punches and used "Aether Punch" but aimed on johns sword sending him rolling and smashing on three walls lined up.
"That hurt..." as John grabs his neck groaning, in the thick smoke, lihan saw gunpowder flashes and dodges it, it was "Holy bullets". Lihan was scared and bullets continued flying towards him, lihan punches and redirects some bullets. On the distance there was a sniper of silver wolves and was spectating the fight with shock. A low level demon fighting john, one the strongest swordsman x marksman against a demon who is putting a fight with him. Back to lucius and edward, edward explains that lihan isn't just a demon, he is different and considered to be human." Lihan doesn't think as a demon but thinking as a kind human with powers. Lucius was having a hard to time to believe to edward, the two releases there strongest technique and suddenly they were stopped by kaliego sharp, the strongest swordsman on silver wolves.
Kaliego asked where is john, and lucius said that he took care of the demon edward was protecting. Kaliego grips on edwards shoulders and said "We will talk about this later, boy." with a angry tone, lihan punched johns sword really hard that it breaked. Lihan was about to give him a right hook using his one percent to knock him out cold, his right arm was shot and john stabbed him with his broken sword.
John was dragging lihans body back to them, kaliego, edward and lucius was sees them, edward felt sad and also guilty that he was not able to save another seasonal friend. John was arrogant that he killed lihan but before he got say another word he was punched on the face, lihan was regenerating his right hand and panting from exhaustion.
Kaliego knocks lihan out, he wants a investigation to lihan and judgement. Edward will be lihans first witness that if he is considered ally even he is a demon. But edward will have a penalty after the judgement but edward doesn't care because he wanted to die anyways. The sniper that shooted lihans right arm and was relieved, successfully hitting the target, he was complemented by tolkien, silver wolves sharp shooter. Lucius insults john for getting punched, john denies it and said it was just luck. John was frustrated and defeated, it makes him want to train more, lucius was thinking they should head to the base to get some food. Seia gave john a handkerchief to wipe his bleeding nose, "Here you go buddy, wipe that ketchup in your nose."
Many hours had passed, lihan woke up, chained up sitting on a metal chair. He was surrounded by candles lighting up with blue fire. Kaliego, suddenly pops up Infront of lihan, he stared at him and observes him patiently.
"Do you know what you've got into?, Boy, using DEVILCRAFT is forbidden and it's a sin."
Kaliego unseathes his sword and pointed it at lihans throat.
"I can kill you right now if I wanted to, you should be grateful that Edward opposes your execution."
Lihans eyes widens knowing that Edward has gotten far for repaying him for saving him. Edward sees that he is more human that a devil itself, kaliego looks at him and he gave him a sigh.
"We will have your judgement day tomorrow, Edward is on penalty, As soon as you're proven a demon, Edward shall receive punishment and will be kicked out."
He was put inside a cell with papers written with chants. He was blind-folded and he can only move his head and wait patiently. Some silver wolves guardsman feeds him by scooping some oatmeal with a long spoon to avoid intentions of him. As for Edward he was given a collar called "dispell" a electric shock triggers when he uses his mana and magic. He was also trained like hell without using magic by cane, the strongest close combat from the silver wolves. It was night time and meanwhile in the cell, lihan was thinking about what his father favored him. After rake, the father of lihan was executed in the fight, they had a conversation about what life would you want without regretting it. Lihan said it would be great if I grew up repaying your hard work for me, rake said it's fine, he just wants to see lihan to be more better than him.
1:09 am, they headed to the sellia kingdom for lihans judgement.
