Strange Dream

The Mirror shatters in front of him back in the tower.

"Crono, are you alright?" asked Kurtis.

"Yeah, it just spooked me if anything," said Crono. He sees something in his left hand another amulet but this one looked like a little mirror.

"where can I find this flame?" Crono questioned in thought.

Crono was back on the ship staring at the mirror amulet in the kitchen still puzzled about how he will find his flame. Raphael entered the room.

"What's wrong, child?" asked Raphael.

"Well…," said Crono. He explains to her what happened in the Keep Spire Tower.

"I see," said Raphael. "So, you must find your own flame."

"I wish I knew how to find it," said Crono.

"It only a thing you can find if only Hatred was here, he may know more on the way how to find it for you," said Raphael.

"There no point waiting for him the probably way gone," said Crono. "Maybe a nap might help me."

"Alright," said Raphael. Crono heads to his and Irene's room and lies down and stares at the ceiling. Irene enters the room.

"Hello, Crono," said Irene. "I think I'm getting used to using some of this technology."

"That's great, Irene," said Crono. He still was in thought about how to find his flame.

"What's wrong you seemed bummed?" asked Irene. He explained to her what happened.

"That what I'm trying to figure out is a way to find this flame of mine," said Crono.

"Well, I'm sure you will find it, Crono," said Irene. She places her left hand on his chest as she sat next to him. He looks and sees the burn scars he gave her when they were in the fire at an inn. He feels her hand with his right.

"Does it hurt?" Crono asked.

"A little bit but it will heal in time," said Irene. Crono still feels guilty he starts to blame himself for what happened to Irene because he was the one who caused the fire in the inn.

"I'm sorry about this," said Crono.

"Don't worry, Crono, I only gained these scars to save you," said Irene. "I know when you find your flame it won't hurt innocent it will protect them and make those with evil in their heart fear you." She takes off the dream amulet and places it around his neck and kisses him on the lips.

"Thanks, Irene," said Crono.

"I hope you rest well, Crono," said Irene. She leaves the room. He stares at the ceiling until he falls asleep but he sees something like a former memory that was not his that it belonged to Azah, The God of Nightmares.

Crono finds himself transparent watching Azah and a woman who had purple hair, blue eyes, and rosy skin wearing purple robes this was his twin sister, Arise, Goddess of Dreams.

"Hello, sister," said Azah.

"Hello, brother. I have asked I heard some of the humans say they have not been having, Nightmares," said Arise.

"I don't like my powers, I don't want people to hate me," said Azah.

"But you should not hate your powers it helps people get over their fears we balance each other power," said Arise.

"Thanks, sister I think I know what I have to do," said Azah.

Crono sees a memory further on where he sees Azah crying in the Tomb of Dreams.

"Why, did they do this to you," said Azah. "I will make them pay, all of them."

Crono wakes up in his bed on the ship.

"What was that a dream?" asked Crono. "Or maybe Arise is trying to tell me something beyond the living?"
