I head north after teleporting as close as I can to the wetlands, the time period where the protection Paglio set weakens is now and will last a few days. it was funny when I told him about it and he got pretty worried that someone might have made it in for there to be such a defect in his setup. when I asked if it was possible for him to have made a mistake he went on a triad about how it was his life's greatest work and it wasn't possible to have defects. I then suggested that maybe something inside it is weakening it over time, and he pondered on it for a while before denying that as well.

Little does he know a corpse necromancer is inside and is purposely weakening it through some scheme to bait people to use their bodies to hopefully break out. he is an ex-mammon royal family member, he shed his body to bind his body to an object so he can continue his pursuit of power. a pretty cool concept and I plan on beating him up and grabbing his soul container to recruit him. I have no clue if an evil piece will work on him since there is no physical body to reincarnate but maybe the piece will bind his soul to it and he can resurrect as Issei did.

After flying for an hour I pass over the beginning of the swamps and it honestly is beautiful in an otherworldly magic swamp way. giant trees with roots spiraling above ground and knotting together. moss covering anything and vines hanging from everything, the water is dark in an abyssal color. sometimes I can see movement beneath the surface, checking with all-seeing eyes I can see giant turtles and crocodiles. the bugs are massive too, flew past a mosquito that reminded me of the flies Glorfindel used.

I have been following the map that Paglio gave me but he also has some crazy memory loss, he can't even remember the whole layout inside. that's the main reason he stressed learning the dragon langue so I can spot his traps, some of them detonate the whole place to bury the treasure so no one can have it. lucky me I remember the secret passwords from the original book, he didn't even say anything about them so he most likely forgot all about it. his amnesia should be the ancient runes smacked on him by the black dragon emperor. he did it so Paglio would have time to think about his mistakes but happened to help him forget his mistakes.

Spotting a clearing with two giant stones leaning against each other I recognize it as a landmark, Delia is supposed to meet me at this location unless our maps are different and there are two of these. I will wait a few hours and if no one shows then I will just summon Dodo to sit here and wait and head to the treasury, maybe she has already been here and gone without me?

Not even an hour later I detect someone on the very edge of my radar, dispelling the demonic energy construct I was making I teleport Infront of the person after hiding myself with the shadow cloak. appearing in front of the person I recognize it as a woman who is heavily cloaked herself, her piercing blue eyes are familiar though so I throw off my cloak back to the temple.

"Hey, Delia." She jumps back seeing someone appear before her, almost launching some water at me she dispels it and puts a hand on her chest.

"Why did you have to do that?! wait, was that the shadow cloak?!" her thumping heart is loud and clear as she tries to calm down.

"I don't know what you're talking about Delia." I smile as she calms down and drops her hand down.

"I have seen it before and that was suspiciously like it, how are you using it?" I wave her off.

"I can tell you about that later, right now I might have a solution to your problem without even needing to go to the treasury. although for my own reasons I still have to go and would like you to guide me. long story short on that is I am friends with the real owner and he is indisposed and can't come himself so I am going for him." I can't see much with the full getup she has on but her blue eyes show a bit of hope when I say I have a solution, she squishes it fast though.

"What is your solution?" her inquiry is quick.

"I reached demon emperor and can try to dispel the chain with a special ability I have on the condition you agree to lead me to the treasury. I am confident in making my way through it since it is dragon langue and I learned from the very person who made this place." I can't have her leave, Broc should have her marked with his chain and will track her down to steal the other half of the shield from her when she gets it. he will bring his half with him since the last time he went out he got injured so she won't feel safe without it. his half stops all physical damage and Delia's that we are about to look for stops all magic damage and effects.

"So if it works I help you by leading you to the treasure? and if it doesn't work what then?"

"I will have you help me if it works and if it doesn't then I will help you since I still need to go for my own reasons." if this works and I can break it then Broc will likely lose his signal on tracking her and may attack sooner and I can finish him now. it would still be better if I wait till after the fact though so he can track her down when we already have it so I can have Guradam the necromancer help me. I am physically stronger than him but he might be able to escape with some unseen skill or item, I want him to one hundred percent die here today. also I will be summoning Isabella since she has a score to settle with him and that was what I originally promised.

"Ok, try it and see if it can be broken." I approach her and grab her arm and begin working worthless onto her binding. it's a bit of a pain since this is a conceptual binding and not a physical construct made of magic. after a few short moments, I already have slipped it off of her like how I did with Kia and hers, I decided to leave it like that for now. It's as if she is holding the tracking chip in her hand instead of it being embedded into her neck, also it cant be used to threaten her with death.

"It has been removed but not destroyed, he shouldn't be able to hurt you with it anymore." as I look up and see her looking at me I notice her eyes are watering. "I guess you can feel it already?" she nods.

"I have always had a pain coming from the shackles, it's his way of constantly reminding me that he owns me. so I felt it when it stopped, I thought you destroyed it but this isn't bad either. he can still track me so I need to get the treasure so I can prevent that but this is still very nice. thank you Nova." she stops crying after wiping her eyes and sounds infinitely more cheerful than before.

"It's fine, I wish I could do more now." the guilt isn't so bad since I am aware she will be fine now and I will also be killing Broc today so she will be fine in the future as well. I will let the two of Delia and Isabella decide who kills him, both will be happy at his death that's for sure. "I will fly us in the direction you tell me, you have been there before so just point me in the right way." she tilts her head.

"Flying?"

"We should be there soon, your really fast for a demon emperor. this would of taken at least a day and a night to walk." I tear through the sky as we quickly make our way to the entrance. time magic from Agares and Wind from Phenex plus flight equals jet like speed. I don't have a way to measure it but it should be close to the speed of sound, only thing is I still hear fine and also no sonic boom. all I got to say about it is magic.

It took her by surprise that I had wings, she didn't ask about them but she definitely looked curious. I told her anyways that I was a different Species and she seemed skeptical and I told her Athena was one to and she could verify it once we where done out her. after she got over her shock of her friends species potentially changing she agreed to wanting to see for herself. she also said she was missing Athena so its a trip well spent either way, I will ask her to reincarnate then when she is more comfortable and not out here in a swamp risking her life for a artifact.

We first started to fly with her king of sitting on my back but that made my wings uncomfortable so I stopped and swung her around to my front in a bridal carry and picked up speed before she could protest. she used her own spirit power to block the wind and so it wasn't a problem for me to go wide open full speed.

"Hey, when we get there what will we do about other people? I don't care if people see me since it wont really matter but if they set off one of the implosion traps we will be buried. well I would get us out safely but still the treasure would be lost." remembering that I can just tunnel straight to the destination with her leading the way based off the feeling from the artifact I am about to tell her never mind when she speaks.

"We could just knock them out and tie them up till we get the treasure or kill them. I don't care which ever you pick is fine with me, I just want to finally be free of my brother so I can try to start enjoying my life." I nod and decide to send them all to a estate in bloody empire, that is unless someone interests me as a evil piece.

"That's the place Nova." she points ahead and I detect and find a small crowd, zipping in I land down with Delia in my arms. everyone spins around hearing us arrive and feeling the gust of wind I was pushing myself with. a few of the weaker ones where blown right off there feet as a man spreads out his spirit power and tries to anchor the people near him down.

A woman off to the side projects a dark wave to block the wind and looks at me with anger, locking my eyes with hers I smile slowly as I press down on her with my demonic energy. she starts shaking and I pull it back as I set down Delia and look back at the big crowd of people, some of who still don't even know what happened and are trying to get up. the male who is an Asmodeus based off his eyes and the abundance of lust.

"I am Casillas Asmodeus, who would you be?" he isn't being overbearing but also not being subservient. likely waiting for more information to judge how to go about my presence here." from the corner of my eye the woman from earlier who is the strongest here minus me is biting her lips as she seems in deep thought, she should be Mammon family.

The only Mammon I know who I am interested in reincarnating for being the one to bind with the artifact is Tiffany or her dad the emperor. Raizen is a mans man and is very bull headed, he would make a good ally and would be a good fighter in the war to come. but its unanimous that he is a bad leader, good general and the troops love him, but horrible emperor. his daughter Tiffany there isn't much to judge her on other than her personality which is spilt into two, and you know what they say about crazy girls.

One personality is a cutesy girly type and the other is a calculative jerk, she has a dark affinity from being greed royal family but she also got a light affinity from her mom who is a human and is a follower of the angel demigods. she also is the one with the Phoenix egg that I want.

Ignoring all that though I wonder if it would be worth making this girl a queen so I can have a for sure mammon. Tiffany is a slave to Satan the false god and her life is limited because of it, I can help her but its a big risk. Raizen is a meat head and it would take a lot to convince him unless I just beat him up. but this girl could easily be made into a queen, at the least I want to bishop her.

I stretch my wings one last time as they all are staring at them and then conceal them. "I am Nova, a pleasure to meet you all."
