Walking out into the living room with Athena behind me we hear sounds in the kitchen, I know Kia was here since I saw her but Athena pales when she realizes and she roots in place.
"What's wrong Athena?" I ask as I turn to look at her when she stopped. she slowly turns red before quickly walking past me and into the kitchen.
"Nothing Nova." She walks in and upon seeing Kia making some food she attempts to play it cool. "hey Kia do you need some help?" Kia hears Athena and gives her a side eye up and down before looking back at her hands.
"Thanks, Athena, you can help me peel these if you want. let me know if you're too tired though I can handle it if you want to rest." I see a sly grin cross Kia's face as she watches Athena stiffen once more before mechanically peeling the Lala potatoes. seeing as they are going to start prepping dinner I decide to go check up on all my stores and then visit Shea to update her and get any new major new she has.
"I will be back I need to go make the rounds." they both nod and I teleport out to see what the girls got up to and check on Naliyi

After her first set of black potions I had given her and a devil fruit she made it to mid-higher demon, now with a queen piece and another fruit she is in mid demon king realm. she is going to be my CEO in a way, I don't have time to manage a bunch of people so I will just give her an outline and let her go wild. she will likely delegate a lot of the work but I don't care so long as it's getting done and I don't have to manage it myself.
"So how are you feeling now?" I wonder about the Fury ability she gained, if I had to guess it should be related to a berserk skill of some kind.
"I feel really good to be honest, the best I have felt in my life." she has her wings out and her demonic energy flaring out.
"Good if you have any questions on what we discussed you know how to contact me, if you need help with your demonic energy just let me know as well." she nods and her wings stretch out before disappearing. "Have you ever heard about an ability called Fury?"
"Yea my dad had an ability he called Fury he said he was an illegitimate child of a Royal Samael family member that had been kicked out for causing problems. he told me when he didn't come out as a Royal family member his dad abandoned him according to his mom. but he got the ability Fury from his dad similar to their ability called Bloodfury and we also have a lot better control of our natural demonic flames." she summons her flames and I instantly can tell the difference between hers and Athena's, I guess that similar to the royal family I reincarnate the evil piece has also pulled out her Samael family ability and enhance her flames. it likely also gave her the Fury ability like her dad if she didn't already have it, I wonder if I got the artifact of her family could I push her to go further or if mutating her piece would allow it to go a step more. I guess I can always test with Kia since she is a direct descendant of a royal family member and also has a physique related to her family, and soon I will have the mask of her family.
"I see, I think your Samael blood was tapped into by the piece, you should try to practice with your fire. I will come around when I have free time to help you try to activate your fury skill, but for now, I need to go I have some other places to visit." she nods and we go our separate ways as I make one last stop before Shea into my private room with all my forging equipment.

Hmm, not the best but also not the worst. it gives me a lot of control over terrain and also minerals and metals. nothing to write home about but also useful enough not to complain.
Now I have three new traits to train with since I haven't done much With Phenex or Starsend Moment. I can't ask Paglio to train with me either since technically I am stronger than his current sealed form. Catherine would probably be a good opponent to fight till I can get the item Paglio needs to free himself.

Browsing the shop a bunch of new tabs with different crafting recipes appears and I get excited about all the stats they have. it never made sense to me in the story how a sword could add 100% attack speed like a MOBA game but I am not going to complain now.

There are tons of items that are available and it has my hands itching wanting to start making them, too bad I have no materials a the moment. I am sure sugar momma Catherine will hook me up if I made her something good. most of the items can only be used by devils though so I can't kit out a demon army I would have to reincarnate a force to outfit if I wanted to do that. I don't know how many pawns I can have but eventually, I will try to max out on them and equip them with good gear. not sure how the effects of these items work but I look forward to trying to study them and find out if I can duplicate them without the system or make unique items.
The materials page is also full of different things I have never seen and lots of the things I have read in books here in demon world are all listed so it should prove useful. the price of eternal potions also got halved which makes me regret buying them earlier but oh well nothing can be done about it now.

Walking through the palace halls I pulse my demonic energy and pick up what I assume is Shea in her study as per usual. I quickly teleport inside to find her reading some papers, this chick seriously needs to get out some she works all the time. checking her demonic energy I get a rough idea she is a bit ahead of me but I have closed the gap, last time I checked she was peak demon emperor so she should be closing in on demon overlord. with my strength being a stage above I am physically a demon overlord already and would win in a fight, at least I hope so or I would just be an embarrassment.
"Hello Shea, going so long without seeing you I almost started to miss you." she doesn't look up but I hear her let out a light amused snort. I walk around the desk and stand behind her chair as I read over what has her attention and its reports of the mines activities. there are also a few reports on profits from selling the excess food produced at the farms to the residents of the dark moon as well as plans to sell to nearby towns.
On the side, I see something that I reach to pick up and am surprised at the turnout. Kaguli has managed to recruit quite a few people to the guard showing she is doing a fine job. I temporarily debate if I should reincarnate her as a knight or something so she can get even stronger which would draw more people to listen to her since power attracts in the demon world. I am snapped out of my work mode I easily slipped in when Shea leans back after setting down the pen I crafted for her and looks up at me. as she does I get a clear view into the dress she is wearing and have to bonk myself mentally to send off the horny thoughts, since gaining the Asmodeus bloodline I have been extra horny and need to get it under control.
"Hello Nova, I almost missed you as well." I walk back around the desk and sit in a cushioned seat.
"I am back from what I was doing and I would call it a massive success." Shea smiles as she raises a brow.
"Yea and what would you consider a massive success?" can't wait to see her reaction to her idol being added to team devil. Catherine said it was fine to tell people I trusted to not say anything, even if it leaked what can anyone do to her anyway? the worst thing that could happen would be a demigod taking an interest but they don't listen to the masses gossip anyway or care for politics. if they did care they would be the emperors, not demon overlords.

"And so after fighting off the Leviathan family member I guess she was impressed enough to listen to my sales pitch. after hearing me out she decided to reincarnate and to my surprise, I learned her real identity."
"Who was she?" I smile and keep eye contact wondering if she can make a guess, after a few moments she doesn't seem to understand so I give her a clue.
"Well you should have heard of her at one point." she thinks for a moment before shrugging.
"I don't get much news here remember? when Isabella came and talked with me after you reincarnated her it was the most I have heard of the capital in years. how would I know of a foreign empire's royal family." I nod and agree she had a horrible network only causing her to frown. "who was it Nova you got me curious now." she huffs playfully.
"I promise you have heard of her, does that narrow it down for you." she looks at me confused.
"I only know a few Asmodeus from stories and one is the empre- you didn't." she finally gets what I am giving to her and she instantly denies it. as she shakes her head in denial I pull out the shadow cloak and equip it as I disappear only to grab her shoulders causing her to jolt up. "What the!" she looks around as I appear back in my seat still wearing the cloak.
"That prove it to you?" she looks at me like I am a fool before her jaw drops and stares at the cloak.
"Wait, even if your telling the truth why do you have that and how is it working?" I flick my pointy ears as she walks over to me and puts her hand on the cloak and the other grabs my ear and twists.
"OW!" using the cloak to warp into her seat I look at her in mock anger as I clutch my ear.
"Oh don't cry you big baby, is that for real though? how do pointy ears let you use the Asmodeus artifact and why would she give it to you? and how did you convince her to reincarnate?"
"It's real and I already told you I just talked it out with her." she shakes her head.
"If it's real I still wouldn't believe you talked it out with her enough to get the artifact. she likely wouldn't even hand it over to her own kid if she had one. it is too useful in battle to just give to a friend to borrow. I still don't get the ear thing but from what you're saying the change in ear lets you use it." I nod and put the cloak back.
"Yes the ears are a bloodline I unlocked and it is shared with Catherine and lets us both share the cloak so we both can use it and when not in use it goes into a shared space. likely me and you could do the same when I steal the fallen angel sword with Izzy's help in the future." Shea is shocked and walks back bumping into her desk having been walking back to kick me out of her chair, now she leans on the desk for support.
"Do you understand what you are saying? you not only can use one royal artifact but two? how did you even make this possible?" not just two you sweet summer child, I am going to get all seven.
"Well, it's possible is all I am going to say."
"But how did it even happen, how did you just say ' hey let me wear that and see if it works ' I mean it's THE Catherine." you poor fan girl, never meet your heroes they always disappoint.
"Well if you want the truth then I kind of just fucked her and then it went from there."
