Chapter Seventeen: Slashing Princess's Goal

Vasco Strada: Alright kids that is enough playing around if you were to continue the class earlier then more than few buildings will be destroyed.

Haoyu could not help but to agree with Vasco after he felt how much the two weapons seemed to hate each other. Normally the aura from evil king is actually more ruthless and filled with killing intent but when it faced Durandal it became arrogant. Until now has never happened before but considering that Durnadal has some intelligence it made sense. Breaking from his deep contemplation Haoyu turned to the bishop and Vasco bowing. As he did Haoyu made sure to apologize for being so brash. After seeing his apology accepted. Haoyu decided that it is time for him to leave before causing more trouble. Before leaving he went to see Asia who was watering some flowers.

Haoyu: As it turns out you are called the holy maiden of life not just because you can heal the wounded.

Hearing the voice coming from behind her Asia turned around to see the boy from earlier smiling at her with a smirk. Asia's face turned red as his earlier comment embarrassed her. A few breathes later she managed to calm down and then said.

Asia: So was his excellence able to help you with whatever was bothering you.

Haoyu: Unfortunately he was not able to help me for right now but I guess it was still worth the trip because I met such a cute girl.

As he said that Haoyu teleported away leaving Asia stand there alone with her face so red that it can be confused with a tomato.

Meanwhile as Haoyu was having fun flirting Xenovia was still standing in the cathedral with Durandal still in her hand. She could still feel the holy sword trembling as if it were filled with pure rage after meeting its greatest enemy. Until now although Durandal was difficult handle she has never had that happen before. When she first received Durandal Xenovia believed that she needed to someday surpass her predecessor So far everything was going well for her even earning her the nickname slashing princess. This caused her to believe that besides his excellence that there are few who can compare to her. As a matter of fact a part of her even thought that over time she will eventually surpass him as well. At least that was until today when she got to meet Haoyu. For the first time in her life she came face to face with someone whos potential is greater then her own potential. Normally in such a situation you would expect her to get jealous or hate Haoyu for destroying. However that could be further from the truth, in all actuality she became thankful to him. Thanks to Haoyu Xenovia discovered a trait of her holy sword that few except for the first wielder and Vasco. In their clash earlier she could feel Durandal change its aura from a crashing wave to a sharp slash. It was at this moment that Xenovia realized that her use of the sword never allowed it to demonstrate its true power. As she came to her senses and left Visco's room she set a new goal for herself. As for what that is only she will know until the day she sees Haoyu again.

Back with Haoyu in the present as he remembered meeting Asia his mind could not help but think about his clash with Xenovia. This memory also caused him to think about what he will do with the other girls. On his way home that concern remained on his mind with no answer in sight no matter how much time passed. Even though he knows Issei is not in this world he still could not help but feel it is wrong to steal his girls. When he finally mad it home entering the house the first thing to greet him was a black blur. The blur was obviously his tarantula bride Kuroka give him a hug like she always did. Ever since that day he saved Fujimai, Kuroka has made this a habit. Between the Kuroka from the story and the one now there are pretty much no differences. That is except for the fact that she is now more innocently mischievous.

Kuroka: Welcome home Haoyu would you like food first, a bath, me or me for food in the bath. If you ask me I recommend going with the third choice because for a limited time only it also comes Akeno and Aiko nya.

This was something that Kuroka had seen on tv once which soon became her favorite way to greet him. Haoyu has grown used to it and even started to think it would be fine to make her his woman. Unfortunately whenever he was about to take that step Shirone/Koneko would appear breaking the mood. This also served as a reminder that the two were a package deal. Once again avoiding to make a decision Haoyu went to have a seat in the living room. As soon as he sat down Shirone sat on his lap humming a tune. Haoyu could feel his concerns slip anyway as he gently rubbed her head. Kuroka soon joined them on the couch taking a seat next to Haoyu and placing her head on his shoulder. The scene lasted until the other girls came home and started complaining how it was unfair that the sisters got more attention. Later that night Haoyu was meditating to send his soul into his soul scape.

His world is a massive space split into to two sperate areas that represented his different powers from his familiar. Ever since it was awakened his familiar has taken control over the space where his Raksha legion resides. This caused the space to have one side filled with a sinister aura while the other was filled with a holy one. Sinister section is ruled over by his Nether Worldly Avatars. While the other has a massive collection of golden clouds continually releasing bolts of lightning. As he looked toward the golden clouds Haoyu felt really proud of himself for improving his Buddhist powers. Downside is that the force if used too often can damage his body making it so he has to restrain his strength level. Still it has its benefits even if it is limited.
