Chapter four:The Decisions made that day

Time seemed to move painfully slow as Baraqiel made his choice. No matter which he picked he would have to leave. As a fallen angel leader fraternizing with the enemy was unforgivable. He barely convinced them before. Now they will find every excuse to attack his family. While he was tore he looked down. Once he saw Shuri's lifeless body his decision was made. Dropping at his knees he said.

Baraqiel: Please turn her into one of your kin. Also can you promise to watch over them for me.

Qin Chao: Of course I can not only that but from now on they are under my protection. So anyone who wants to harm them must go through me.

The Devil Arhat's vow put Baraqiel's mind to ease. He then nodded to Haoyu's mom. Getting his signal she leaned down and bit Shuri's neck. Seconds later Shuri's eyes fly open. She then sat up and looked around. Shuri could already tell what happened. As she prepared to open her mouth a small crying figure flew at her. One look and she knew it was her daughter. While she comforted her daughter she gazed at her husband.

Shuri: So I guess our time together has come to an end. No matter thank you for satisfying my selfishness.

Before Baraqiel could respond Akeno said.

Akeno: What are you thanking him for he is the one who failed us??!??!!!! If it weren't for Mr and Mrs Qin you would have died. I hate him and never want to see him again.

Her hate filled eyes stared right at Baraqiel while in her mother's arms. Everyone saw the pained look in his eyes. But rather than explaining Baraqiel just left. When he left Akeno stared crying once more. Haoyu watched this and hated himself. Thoughts ,like if he had faster or even stronger kept on running through his mind. Feeling the heavy atmosphere his father had everyone return to their house. Once inside he took Akeno to his room. While their parents talked about what to do in the future. When their were in his room Akeno broke down again.

Akeno: Why did he leave? I know I sad some horrible things but I just wanted to vent. I never thought he would abandon us.

Haoyu: To be honest I think he felt a shamed of himself. As a father/husband it is his duty to protect his family. But today he failed and was forced to face the reality of how weak he is. So he chose to leave now to make it seem like he abandoned you.

Done talking he waited for Akeno's response. Luckily it came fairly quickly.

Akeno: So he left to protect us because he was not strong enough. If that is the case then my own weakness is also to blame. From now on I will become stronger. As a matter of fact strong that no one can take my family from me.

As Akeno stated her vow he also made another of his own. From now on he will make sure to be strong enough to protect what he cares for. On the day of this tragedy. A nightmare for all those who refused to allow peace to prevail was born.

(5 years later)

Five years have passed since the events of that sad day. During these days Qin family with the mother-daughter paired moved. Their new home was in Kuoh town. They spent their days training and going to school. Haoyu even had a few surprising waiting for him. One surprise was to there was no Hyoudou Issei in this world. No rather than Issei there is a new red dragon emperor. Or should we say a Red Dragon Empress. That is right Issei is now a girl. Here name is Aiko.

Aiko is a cheerful girl brown hair and eyes. Her hair reaches down to her shoulder blades. It was styled in a layered hairstyle. All together she was actually really cute. Only downside is that on the inside she is still Issei. Unlike the original,that was obsessed with breasts, she only liked harems. When she saw Haoyu she immediately claimed him as her husband. At first he thought she was planning to collect a bunch of guys. But actually she wanted to get him a harem. Aiko would spend the next few years trying to seduce Haoyu.

Of course Akeno would never be to far away when it happens. In fact her and Aiko seems to have formed a deep friendship. Irene also hung out with them except she would not seduce him. Everything else was still on the table. Like spend the night at his house. Only to end up in his room. The three enjoyed their time together until another DxD event happened.

While they were playing at Haoyu's house. They got informed by Irene that she will be moving to England. Aiko face was filled with sadness as she heard the news. Irene and Akeno are her closet friends. With her strange personality that is saying something. Once the news was out all the girls became sad. The rest of their playtime was kinda of awkward. When it was time for her to leave Haoyu made a promise to her.

Haoyu: Listen Irene we may be parting but we will later meet again. By then I know you will be even more beautiful. So you have to make sure you don't forget me.

With that touching goodbye his days of training continued. During this time he learned to control of his avatars. So far he managed to control two more. Akeno also joined the training and became very skillful in using her lightning. They would sometimes spare. Her lightning was actually strong enough case him some injury. Luckily thanks to his mother bloodline they recovered near instantly. That little event rised a few questions for him. For example if you take Aiko as a bonus gift then what other had he received. Thinking about it his mother is a primogenitor. So it would only make sense if she passed some powers as well.

Haoyu decided to just ask rather than quietly brood over it. Finished with his father's training. He went looking for his mother to find her and Shuri in the kitchen. Noticing his presence Avrora turned and smiled.

Avrora: Is there anything you need my child.

Haoyu: Yes, actually mom I was thinking that both you and dad are really strong. So why is it that have noticed anything from you. The only power that has manifested is your regeneration.

He scanned his mother's face for any signs of her being shocked. But instead she smiled like he asked the question she been waiting for. She then said.

Avrora: It is about time you asked. Until now I thought that you didn't care. To answer your question as a primogenitor of course there are benefits. To be honest apart of me thought you looked down on my powers.

When she pause Haoyu started to panic thinking he hurt his mom. Seeing his reaction she giggled.

Avrora: Okay relax I am just kidding. First of all you have every power that a vampire should. However the most important is your familiar. Every primogenitor has a familiar born from their magic power. Each familiar is different for each person. Rarely are there two familiars the same. As for yours it is sleeping inside of you. Until now it has been hibernating. As for how to wake it up. You will have to fallow me to a special place.
