Chapter 27: Beginning of the Setup

The medic then held up three fingers and asked, "How many fingers am I holding up now?"

"Three roots."

"Very well." The medic turned the flashlight off, then asked, "Tell me your name."

"I ... I don't know."

"He's fine, he just has amnesia, like the woman."

The identity of the man who had turned from his coma was another mystery on this train.

But kevin, who was familiar with the plot, knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that this man, was the hero and tragic villain who made the plot take a huge turn in the end: Spence!

He is, arguably, the source of the series of events, a commercial spy who drives the entire movie, if not the series!

The train slowly turned slow after traveling for some time and finally came to a stop.

The mercenaries stood at attention, jumping out of the train in small groups and patrolling the side of the train with their guns.

"What's a hive?" Spence asked as he and Ellis looked at each other.

KEVIN suddenly grabbed one of Kalamp's arms and spoke with a slightly stony face.

"What?"

Karanp looked at kevin with confusion and disbelief.

"I said, copy a detailed diagram of the hive structure, understand?"

"What's wrong?"

Matthew walked over, his face a little darker, but of course, since he was black, it wasn't visible.

"He had to ask me to make a copy of a useless hive structure diagram ..."

Accompanying his call, the lights on the roof began to come on one by one, pictures of scenes on the ground that were so lifelike that it even felt like they were bathed in sunlight!

Matthew walked in with the other mercenaries.

The medic in the role of a military doctor took the air composition testing instrument and drummed for a while, saying, "The toxic components have dissipated."

Now, all the mercenaries relaxed and started walking around and checking things out.

Matt walked over to the window and looked out into the distance, saying, "The underground work should be easier, think there'll be something to see."

The elevator door was peeled open hard by two mercenaries, and in that instant Matthew tensed and aimed his gun inside.

But the elevator they had imagined did not appear; inside, there was only a deep darkness.

Jedi pulled out something like a burning stick, gave it a pull, and then threw it into the elevator shaft in front of kevin.

This coldly lit burning stick fell down the elevator aisle and ended up hitting the elevator.

"Looks like we're taking the stairs."

Matthew nodded and said, "Everyone follow, we'll take the stairs down!"

The staircase was brightly lit as the mercenaries were in the front, and a few of them, Alice, Spence, Matt, and kevin, were in the back, moving methodically toward the ground floor.

kevin, with his enhanced physicality and with little distance wiping limitations, easily keeps up.
