Chapter 107 - Avoiding the Line of Sight
"How's it going?"
The helicopter's propellers churned up huge air currents, swirling dust from the ground into the distance.
The commander bowed and stepped down from the transporter to the black guard who greeted him.
"From the traces we found, they should have gone up the mountain."
The black guard said, gesturing toward the woods beside the path, where several guards in Umbrella Corporation uniforms were probing something with their instruments.
"Should?"
The commander frowned, he was hoping for something more than such an ambiguous answer.
"After entering the mountains, the complex terrain as well as the fallen leaves covered the tracks, we couldn't determine the direction they fled in, and those traces left behind could have been faked, but I couldn't think of a better way than to enter the big mountains."
The black guard voiced his findings along with his speculations, leaving the commander in a brief silence.

However, the end of Raccoon City doesn't mean the crisis is over; the T-virus has begun to spread through the air, and in the weeks yet to come, it will spread throughout the United States, and in turn, sweep the entire planet ...
But does throwing off the Umbrella Corporation's trail mean they're really safe?
In the darkness, an incredibly agile figure easily crossed the barrier built by the Umbrella Corporation and landed on top of the highway, occasionally letting out a heavy intake of breath.
