"Who are you?! And who gave you permission to touch me?! Let go of me!"
Zenkichi dropped her, making her cry out in pain as her butt hit the ground.
"Ouch! That was rude!" she exclaimed, rubbing her backside as she stood up, glaring at Zenkichi with annoyance.
He shrugged. "Hey, you asked for it."
"What did you say?! You-!" The mysterious woman suddenly began violently poking at his chest. "You. Are. Just. So. Rude! What kind of a man just drops a lady like that?"
"Obviously one who's not thinking clearly," Zenkichi retorted, stepping back slightly to create some space between them. "Look, I'm sorry for dropping you. It was a reflex. Are you hurt?"
The woman paused, narrowing her eyes. "Well, I guess that's understandable..." she straightened her back and crossed her arms, still showing displeasure. "But more importantly, you touched my body! No one... Wait, who are you?"
'That collision earlier should've knocked him back at the very least, but he didn't move an inch! Just looking at his body frame, he shouldn't be able to withstand that impact. There's definitely something unusual about him,' she thought, eyeing Zenkichi suspiciously.
Zenkichi scratched the back of his head. "Uh, miss, it was more of an accident than touching... I mean, was I just suppose to let you fall onto the ground?"
"Yeah! Zenkichi didn't have any bad intentions towards you. It just, happened all of a sudden," Gudako interjected, stepping forward to diffuse the situation. "Please, hear us out, uh..."
The woman with black hair and red eyes blinked, surprised. She looked at each of their faces and slightly tilted her head, "Are you people saying that... you don't know who I am? Seriously?"
Brunhilde stepped up, walking close towards Zenkichi. "To be precise, we have no idea what your name is..."
"But we do know about your true nature." Altria added, expression serious as she positioned herself behind the mysterious woman, manifesting her lance.
"Your auras..." Her eyes widened in realization and narrowed, her body tensed up and a golden aura emanated from her.
"Who sent you?!" A dangerous pressure surged out of her body, causing everyone to tense up and readied themselves for a fight.
'Zenkichi...' Both Altria and Brunhilde mentally communicated with their partner. At the rear, Mash was already standing before Gudako protectively. They were all prepared to defend themselves.
Just as things were escalating, Zenkichi stepped forward and put his hands up in a placating manner.
"Easy, easy. We mean you no harm, let me properly introduce ourselves. We are members of a group called "Chaldea." We were sent here to this Singularity to correct the course of humanity." he carefully explained.
The mysterious woman narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms before her chest. She stared straight at his eyes, sensing only sincerity and peace. She then glanced at the others more closely.
".... So, you're guests from afar?" The woman hummed thoughtfully, her expression softening slightly as she processed the information. "Well, stuff like that happens. I suppose I'm here in a similar manner." she muttered.
Zenkichi nodded sympathetically. "Looks like we're in the same boat."
She sighed, "Fine. I'll spare your lives, for now. Especially for you," she then pointed at Zenkichi. "Normally, touching me, no matter if it were an accident or not, is something that cannot possibly happen in this world."
While the statement went over Gudako and Mash, Zenkichi, Brunhilde and Altria understood what she meant.
Because during this time, no normal mortal would ever dare try to touch a God. They revere the divine so much that if this happened to a native, they would prostrate and accept their punishment or kill themselves.
Zenkichi smiled, wanting to ease the tension between, and said, "I'm Zenkichi Hitoyoshi, I'm an intern in Chaldea, working as master that makes contracts with Heroic Spirits and command them as Servants."
"And I'm Gudako Fujimaru, I'm also a master but unlike him, I'm a true working member of Chaldea." Gudako proudly and cheerfully proclaimed.
The others then began introducing themselves.
"I'm Mash Kyrielight, and this cute little guy is Fou."
"... I'm Brunhilde Hitoyoshi."
"Artoria Pendragon, or you may call me as Altria."
As they turned towards the mysterious woman expectantly, she frowned and looked away with a cold snort.
"Hmph! I'm not going to introduce myself! I've nothing else to tell you."
"Tch. Even in another world, they're still so freaking annoying..." Brunhilde muttered to herself.
Fortunately the mysterious woman didn't hear her, or she would've started a fight with her. She looked Zenkichi and asked, "Actually, you people tell me! Like, if you saw something precious lying around here or not!" she asked, making them look at her with a blank expression.
"Uh, no."
"Sorry, but I haven't seen anything like that."
"Nope, didn't see anything precious or whatever lying around."
"What exactly are you talking about, to be specific?" Altria asked, trying to be diplomatic.
Her eye twitched and became a bit aggressive, outstretching her arm. "Like, something that makes you feel amazed at first glance! The greatest thing you ever saw in your whole life! Well?" she prompted, her tone growing slightly impatient.
They shared a look with each other and shook their heads collectively.
"We really haven't seen anything else, besides the ruins and you." Gudako replied.
"Did you drop something?" Mash asked.
At her question, the woman froze. She quickly turned away, crossing her arms. "O-Of course not! I didn't drop anything!" She huffed, her voice betraying a hint of defensiveness.
'She definitely did!' Zenkichi inwardly said of what everyone thought, as they all stared at her with a deadpanned look.
"S-Say something! Anything, or I'll have you all dead!" she stammered, her cheeks flushing slightly under their collective gaze.
Zenkichi sighed, and just as he was about to try and comfort the mysterious woman, and shoo her away, a loud beastly roar sounded out near them.
"Huh? North? Is that it?" the mystery woman said, thinking that they had found her "precious thing".
Zenkichi wryly smiled, "Sorry to burst your bubble, but that wasn't any of us." he then turned his head to find many demonic beasts approaching them from all sides.
He cracked his neck asked his teammates, "Brunhilde, do you still wanna handle them?"
"Hmm. Nah, I'll pass this time around."
"Then Zenkichi," Altria said, turning to Zenkichi. "shall I take care of these beasts?"
Zenkichi nodded, "Yes, please do, Altria."
Altria smiled, nodding her head. "I shall quickly dispatch these beasts."
Mash stepped forward, concerned. "Um, your majes-I mean, Altria. Do you need any assistance?" she asked, a bit nervous.
Altria looked surprised by the question but quickly regained her composure. "Thank you for your concern, Mash. I appreciate it," she replied with a warm smile. "But I believe I can handle these beasts on my own. You all stay back and be ready to provide support if needed."
"Miss, it's dangerous. Please, stand back!" Gudako said towards the mysterious woman, who looked extremely laidback, even though they were surrounded by demonic beasts.
She observed the demonic beasts, a look of disdain crossing her face. "Who do you think you're speaking to?" she muttered under her breath.
Before Altria could engage the beasts, the mysterious woman stepped forward with a grin.
"You're the ones who should stand back!" she said to the group, and before anyone could react, she shot towards the sky with a show of athletic prowess, drawing the attention of everyone.
In mid-air, she twirled gracefully, her movements akin to a dancer, and then with a sudden burst of energy, she swiped her hand and various golden beams of light emitted from her fingertips, striking down the demonic beasts with precision and force.
Each beam of light hit its mark, disintegrating the creatures into nothingness as they attempted to approach her.
The group watched in awe and other emotions as the mysterious woman effortlessly dispatched the demonic beasts with her incredible display of power.
With a grin, she made a finger gun gesture towards the remaining beasts, and a barrage of golden energy bullets shot forth from her fingertips, obliterating them one by one.
And to finish it things off with a banger, she flew towards the last demonic beast, twirling around, she then kicked it with such force that it was sent flying through the air before crashing into the ground with a resounding thud, defeated.
As the dust settled and the last of the demonic beasts lay defeated.
Perhaps a coincidence or thoroughly planned out, after she landed that kick, she then landed gracefully back on the ground to where the group was, flicking her hair back with a confident smirk.
"A-Amazing!" Gudako and Mash breathed out in unison, their eyes wide with astonishment at the woman's incredible combat skills.
Zenkichi chuckled, impressed. "Wow, that was quite a performance! You're really something, huh?"
The mysterious woman grinned, a glint of mischief in her eyes. "Of course, it's me after all."
Zenkichi shook his head and turned towards Altria, wanting to ask her what she felt for being interrupted, only to find her on the side crouch down and looking a bit depressed.
"I... wasn't able to show off my skills to master," Altria murmured softly, her gaze fixed on the ground.
Brunhilde sighed and knelt down beside her. "There, there. It's alright, no need to pout." she said, patting her shoulder comfortably. Though they've known each other for a few days, but they quickly bonded since they were fellow "servants" so to speak, and that Brunhilde was many millennia older than her and has dealt with people with a similar personality to Altria. So in just a short few days, Brunhilde planted herself as an older sister to her.
"I'm not pouting!" Altria retorted.
"There, there~"
'Altria... is sulking?' Zenkichi thought, staring at her in disbelief. 'Cute.'
"Grrr...."
Just as Zenkichi was about to speak up and comfort Altria, a low growl interrupted the moment. The group turned to see more demonic beasts emerging from the shadows, drawn by the commotion.
"Looks like we're not out of the woods yet," Zenkichi remarked, his expression turning serious.
"To think there'd be so many of them," Gudako muttered. "Mash!"
"Yes!" Mash responded promptly, readying her shield.
Zenkichi glanced around at the approaching demonic beasts, thinking on what skill to use in this situation.
'No, we should just run from here. Staying around and getting rid of them would steadily attract newer demonic beasts and we would get overwhelmed. But which way-'
"Master Zenkichi and Master Gudako, was it?"
Zenkichi blinked, he then looked up to see the mysterious woman, no, Ishtar. Not her true form, but a Pseudo-Servant condition in which a human that has a wavelength close to her own was made into a vessel.
As someone who played until the Solomon Singularity, how could he not know her true identity? He only decided to just feign ignorance.
Ishtar floated nonchalantly in the sky, together with a strange construct that resembles a bow with and gold ornaments, glowing with divine energy.
"If you both can't even handle this level of Demonic Beasts, the restoration of humanity is no more than a dream!" she smilingly said, flicking back her hair. "Well, good luck with that!"
She then focused her attention on Zenkichi. "And remember, Master Zenkichi, tell anyone about what happened earlier, and I'll kill you!" with that said, she then flew away from their sight.
"Bitch," Brunhilde muttered under her breath, clearly not pleased with Ishtar's attitude.
Bzzt
"Oooh! Good. The connection is back." Romani's voice sounded from their communicators.
"Later Doc, we got a bit of a situation here." Zenkichi interrupted him and turned towards Altria, as he was about to ask her to take out the demonic beasts...
"Do you require assistance?" A unknown feminine voice interjected, catching their attention.
There was a flash of green electricity as a figure with long green hair planted their hands onto the ground, sending powerful electrical currents coursing through the earth. The electricity crackled and surged, engulfing some of the demonic beasts, they out a cry before exploding into pieces.
"It is an honor to meet you both, Masters of Chaldea."
The group turned to see someone dressed in entirely with white robe, barefoot, and they raised their head to reveal a feminine face with light purple eyes.
They smiled, kind and humble.
But looking at that smile, Zenkichi was inwardly tensed.
"My name is Enkidu, I have waited in this Age of Gods for your arrival." Electricity crackled and a golden portal appeared behind him, chains shot off towards the remaining demonic beasts.
....
[Blooper]
"Sniff... Sniff... I couldn't show off my skills..." Altria sobbed, curling herself by the corner.
"Altria..." Zenkichi put a hand on her shoulder.
"Ah, Master..." Altria looked up to her master, tears in her eyes.
Zenkichi look straight into her eyes, putting on the most serious expression that Altria has ever seen him do, making her flustered.
"Tatakae."
"Eh?"
"Tatakae!"
"Uh, uhm..."
Suddenly, golden lightning struck behind Zenkichi and a gigantic titan emerged, letting out an earth shattering roar towards the sky.
"TATAKAE!!"
.....
AN: Sorry for the late update. I just forgot to upload it last night, I was binge-watching some anime last night. I watched two animes, first one was Tales of the Wedding Rings since it looked "interesting" and... yeah, the story was meh, animation was meh, and the fanservice was okay. I'd say it was a 4/10, would watch the second season because it ended on a cliffhanger. Second was Re; Monster and, wow, just amazing. I highly recommend to anyone who likes Goblin Slayer and Tensei Shitara Slime.
