You won't

"What would you do now?"

"Leave me again?"

"Then do it!"

She had tried to sleep that night but it was miles away from her open eyes and restless brain. His words have been hammering her chest with their weight when she abruptly sat up and gasped for air.

"I need to find him." She said to herself as she climbed down the bed and searched for her shoes. "I need to talk to him."

She was running down the corridors and stairs without stopping to use a lift for getting down. She knew it would be impossible for her to stand still in one place so it was better for her to keep running. Her face and body had tiny droplets of sweat over them when she reached the basement and searched for her car.

"I won't leave you again I promise." For some reason she said it out aloud after sitting in the car and felt her eyes watering.
